I have always wanted Sucho more than Bary, mostly because the concept art was so cute, the Sucho giving the hatchlings some water with a pelican pouch, and i also liked the way that perhaps Sucho will be able to walk quickly or even run in the mud, and nest in it.
Honestly I am way more excited for Sucho than I am for Spino, I prefer Sucho's design over it. And being able to carry water and nest in mud make it even better.
Hopefully sucho gets the ‘no mud debuff’ that people have speculated in the concept art I honestly wish sucho was more combat oriented while bary was the fisherman. Sucho is built like a tank and is believed to have been surprisingly fast on land but slow in water due to its bone density, so it’d make the most sense to give it a ‘hunt everything INCLUDING fish’ role
I really hope Sucho can actually fight off Deino… I’ve always been kind of in the mindset that Deino was added way too early and has completely bombed the roster in terms of balance
How it can only kill u if ur drinking water or swimming in the water it adds another element of survival the same feeling all animals feel when drinking from water or swimming through water that crocs could be waiting in
Deino is actually kinda mid right now. Yes it's big and strong, but it's also really hard to survive. Especially now in gateway with mutations, it has never been easier to drink safely since deino dropped. If you don't drink in the popular deino spots, it's basically guaranteed to be safe.
Sucho seems like a playable that you can mostly chill with, but occasionally hunt if there is an opportunity and you want to. A chill guy that everybody still respects, as you have a lot of power

I personally love the idea of Suchomimus being sort of a bridge between Spino and Baryonyx. It kinda represents the closest thing we will get to a giant running Spinosaur in real life while not going full fiction.
I frankly like the concept art of Spino more than what we have seen of its in game appearance. The Tapwing art gives it a pseudo Hypo look to imply it’s modified and gives it short yet stocky legs like its real world counterpart. The game version however took that idea and slapped a giant pair of running legs on it basically just turning it into a JP3 Spino. I think the devs completely ignored what makes Spinosaurus such an interesting animal and just said, “we want Gorassic Pork.” While Tapwing did his damndest to combine all the traits.
I love how varied the devs made the spinosaurids. I hope sucho in particular leans into being a bully or brawler and still destroys mid tiers like it did in legacy.

Honestly I imagine deino will be upscaled in the future, and like a lot. Fair snd rounded estimates put deinosuchus hatcheri at 39 feet, and a maximum of 45. The current 32 feet that it is in game is a minimum. In the future I honestly see a deino that is 39 feet long, elder of 45 feet, able to grapple with spino, but not grab or drag, and a bite force that is close to rex. Btw deino may have had a stronger bite force than rex, but rex has already been confirmed to have the strongest bite force in game.
I’ve thought of a feature that could make a very interesting feature. I’ve thought if there were a feature for a dinosaur where to broadcasts a call that no other Dino can hear but the species of dinosaur, and when it calls, it sends a ping to where that call came from, for all dinosaurs of that species, maybe this could be for larger dinosaurs that take longer to traverse the map, so a ping to find other dinosaurs would be useful, or maybe for trike, Rex, giga. But a feature that lets the specific dinosaur broadcast a sound that can let other Dino’s of the same species know where they are, to me would be a cool feature.

Trust me, suchomimus is not underrated. Suchomimus was the sub rex/giga/trike killer on legacy, and we can only hope that carries over to evrima as well.
Sucho seems very interesting and it dives into that speculative niche in Dinosaur media that I've always wanted other games to explore. While I doubt Sucho will be able to swallow a Herrera whole, I love the thought of a Herrera thinking it can get the jump on Sucho from the tree line and just having the Sucho look up and open its mouth to K.O. the Herrera. Not plausible but very funny.
I've never really understood why people hype up bary when sucho exists. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad about bary, but I am just unsure why it seems to get more love than it's beefier cousin. Not to mention the(seemingly)good ability set sucho is gonna bring. A smaller sucho with big hands is just not for me I guess.
I didn't know the Sucho concept dropped (used to be in the official discord but my ass ain't got a phone and could never verify my identity on there so I kept getting kicked every month or so). I enjoy Succo :DDD
I can see why people want Sucho, but I think if the roster were to be cut down, then Sucho should be one of them. It suffers from roster bloat, it sort of feels like a background character compared to Baryonyx and Spino. Although I like the pelican Sucho idea.
Sucho, Styraco and the real Utahraptor feel like Dinosaurs that would fit into the concept of roster bloat, but I feel have enough going on for them that they are fine enough additions to the game (Please make Styraco an omnivorous carcass bully) Which is way more than I can say for Charchar.
More creature is more choice and I am not worrying about roster bloat. Also considering once the modding will be a real thing in Evrima so many creature will be made based on existing ones either as skins or standalone creatures. I personally like the smaller ones because of mobility and easier to hide. Sucho in my opinion is a dino what would be played if there is a chance for it and also adds competition too. Bary, Sucho, Spino, Deino, Deinocharius, Beipi (even if they add more semiaquatic) would compete in the same environments and that itself makes the game better. I do only care if these creatures are competent enough to be able to cope with the rest of the roster. I don't mind if 10 dino do the same things because I personally more interested in the specific species. If people only wish do combat they will choose the big boys but I personally stay with small to mediums. Larger creatures still needs food and time to grow so these drawbacks will guarantee not everyone will play the same dinos. Also MINMI ON TOP!

From what i can see of the concept art is that you are the size of Dilo and you can track playable and AI with your snot and you can use your snot in self-defense, whats so bad about that? For me Mono ads more game play then Rugobs, for Rugobs is the "dedicated human hunter" so in short just s shrunken down Carno.

I have an idea for what sucho does. Make it able to grab opponents and handicap them at the cost of stamina. This allows it to make up for its slow speed by grabbing a Rex and dealing huge amounts of damage to it
