Guys... I don't mean to come off as a dick.... But.... The sub zero and scorpion shit has gotten SOOOO played out. Its gotta be so fucking stale to you guys especially since you're creators and take pride in their product. You should try doing parodies through a cycle of some sort. Throw in stuff from older sasons
Once again we do this part time, we both have work to do full time and dont have the time or resources to do what youre suggesting. Also our channel has been revolving around Scorpion, Sub Zero and Mortal Kombat since the beginning, its far more relevant content to our audience than anything else. We grew up on these games and have had fans asking for us to play them for years so we really dont care how burnt out it looks for two regularly tired dudes making vids out of the love for the games and our fans. We do the best we can with the 1 day a month we have to film an entire month of content, and always put more money into our vids than we get from this, for YEARS. This has been loss for the both of us and thousands of hours working free. Whats really gotten old is us having to explain our struggle and passion time and time again. You dont know the stress of filming 24 videos in a day or a 15 minute improvized skit in a day while being the actors, director, cameraman, etc. Or that theres always going to be critics of every little aspect of our work without being willing to take into account that time & budget restraints alter so many ideas so much theyre practically unrecognizable. Try finding another channel that has to improvise their fight scenes in a busy park in 6 hours with no cameraman. Would that not stress you out? Thats how most filmings feel. And even these lets plays that you dislike take us usually 10 hours to put together because we put a lot more work into the editing than most gaming channels. So like I said the last time you commented I think youd just be happy watching someone else. We have been pushing to be able to make more skits for years but the Adpocalypse destroyed our channel. Unfortunately we cant please everyone no matter how hard we try because of this shoestring budget and no time. Believe me, its been frustrating having to shelve dozens of creative ideas over the years because theres no time. I just had to shelve Couples Therapy 3 because we have to be at least two months ahead for my cousin and his wife to have some time with their baby. Previously we had to do the same for a life threatening illness. Please understand that we put everything into every filming we do but that its just been one unlucky setback after another. Living 3 hours away and trying to coordinate different schedules ruins a lot of ideas. I dont think we're likely to ever have the time or resources to make what youd like to see happen. When we were a skit only channel, our viewership was much smaller. Most skits including the Video Game Flaws take at least 100 hours of work only for a Lets Play or reaction released around them to do much better.
