    I love RB .It is very good airline, they look after their passengers. Few years ago our flight was canceled and they put all passengers at the Hilton Hotel in London. When we arrived at Brunei there was tea and coffee and toasts for passengers. I was very impressed with the way they handled the situation. I go every year to Europe and I always fly with RB.

    My very first flight when I was 9 years old was with Royal Brunei from Heathrow to Brisbane Australia. These were the days you could smoke on a plane about 21 years ago.
    I remember the prayer on a big screen in the middle of the cabin wall and also the crew was so lovely. They could not do enough for me and my brother offering us drinks and cup noodles all the time and also trying to keep us entertained.
    It's great to see 21 years ago they still give the same service now and would really love to fly them again.

    I think that 'hot-drinks-after-meal' thing is a Bruneian habit. We're so used to having water or cordial drinks when we have our meal and only end it with tea and coffee, which most people usually skip. 😄

    Remember that an airplane takes off against the wind not with it

    • @bboyjunyor
      @bboyjunyor 5 лет назад +6

      Yeah... but that's because it's an advantage! When things go against you.. that's not an advantage! So.. not quite the same thing, not a proper comparison!

    • @bboyjunyor
      @bboyjunyor 5 лет назад +1

      @Mn On That makes sense just as much as "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" (what doesn't kill you.. actually scars you for life), "exception that proves the rule" (... no comment here) and a few more! If you have something going against you that doesn't mean you will be noticed or you stand out IF you overcome that difficulty! Not everything you overcome is interesting to others or will be appreciated! I get it that you want to have a positive thinking.. but.. let's keep it realistic!

    • @nurilha

    I don't do dry airlines however Royal Brunei's approach of being happy for you to bring your own onboard is a brilliant approach both respecting their religious aspect and mine as a customer so i'd happily fly them. The soft and hard product look good and i've had much worse duvets in F on LH!
    Even the guy across the aisle, who had headphones on, turned to look at that guy making the gross noises behind you but OMFG that phrase about dog balls cracked me up,

    In the Asiana 767 economy class review you asked which Asian economy class you wanted us to be reviewed. I asked for the Royal Brunei A320neo. Now you did the Business Class damnit! :-p Oh well, close enough. Very interesting hard product that suits a 5 to 6 hours flight pretty well. On 7+ hours you might prefer the Dreamliner. The soft product is something you'll never have to worry about when you fly RBA. About the comment on the IFE screens: I've seen a few reports on the Royal Brunei 787 economy class and those screens seemed very responsive. Maybe you just got unlucky with yours. Other than that: Great report as always and thank you for flying Royal Brunei Airlines :-)

    RBA is my favorite airline due to i live in East Malaysia, Start from Melbourne then BWN( 6H45Mins), transit time 2H then connect flight to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (35 Mins flight), before they have this connection i usually get Malaysia, so took me MEL to KL 7H45Mins then transit 1:30 Mins then connect to my destination another 2H25Mins. I never regrets flying RBA even i am only Economic class Food is great even on Economic.

    Uncle Josh !! Funny stuff mate !! Well done as always. Royal Brunei have a pretty solid following here in Australia as their Business Class fares to London are excellent value. Being a dry airline doesn't bother me but friends have done the flight with the BYO option and found the staff were fantastic in serving them a "mixer" such as Tonic or a Coca Cola. The only down side I hear about are delays if your aircraft is grounded with a technical issue. With such a small fleet ( 15 in total) you can run the risk of a lengthy delay getting from Point A to Point B...none the less they look like a great way to travel and are excellent value for money in Business Class !! Looking forward to our next trip !!

    There always seems to be more turbulence around the equator. Or crossing from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere.

    You are tired not old my friend. Get some rest. Try MIAT from NRT to ULN. I have not flown them but will be interested to hear your review.

    The Neo's are really great planes. Avianca has them as well and I love them.

    This is more similar to Qatar Airways. Their regular A320s have 144 seats. So much better than any European airline.

    We used to like Royal Brunei flying from Perth to Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand but they discontinued the Perth service. I think they still fly to Melbourne. Now we use mainly Air Asia or Garuda, depending on the destination.

    Ah yes, the lovely Peppermaint tea :P I believe Aeroflot has a wide selection of tea-pyramids you can order. I do love me a good bit of tea and always bring my own favorites. Don't take up much space in the luggage and hot water is readily available. I've heard you shouldn't order coffee/tea onboard aircraft because of the unsanitary conditions it's all being kept in.

    I think Turkish Airlines also serves a great variety of teas in their airlines.

    Glad to see the traditional turbulence appear when you got your food. It is so disgusting when people “Pull the slime from their testicles” when people are trying to eat around them. Seriously, what are they thinking when they do that?
    Regarding the flight, I don’t think I’d be seeking out a narrowbody aircraft even in business class on a six hour flight. It would be too uncomfortable. I’d rather be on a widebody in business class. Thanks for another great review Josh❤️👍✈️
