    When I was getting ready to file for an increase I requested my C-file. It took 2 1/2 years for them to send it to me. They kept passing my request from one person to another.

      2-1/2 years for your C-file is ridiculous. I am so sorry but that is beyond frustrating. I requested mine many years ago before they came on a CD and it took 6 months. I wish they would come up with a better method to allow us as Veterans to have our own file.

      Yah no wonder people in Veterans Affairs don’t care. I submitted my cd for my mri in my knee and hips and check my va records they don’t even upload it right plus they don’t sentbback my cd ridiculous gives more anxiety or more mental health issues to a veteran

    What if there are documents missing when you get your c-file? For example, mine is missing the code sheet, a dbq for one of my s/c conditions, and a report from my most recent therapist. How can I get copies of specific items without getting the other 4700 pgs again?

    • @VAClaims-VHV
      @VAClaims-VHV  4 месяца назад +1

      do a FOIA request for those specific documents and state they are missing from your C-file. If you have a local RO go to them and get them faster than filing the FOIA.

  • @joecochran7797
    @joecochran7797 Год назад +1

    Also, your VSO can up load the form for you just in case you don't have a scanner. The FOIA request will then be noted/treated just like a claim and you can check updated progress through va.gov (view your claims and appeals).

    I applied 4 my medical records back in the 80s. Never heard back from them. The DAV filed again early 2022. When I inquired about them they claim they were sent on a disk, which I never received. The VA rep verified my address and claimed she would put a trace on them that was 3 months ago.
