Thank you guys for this song. I will have a small part in a medical clinic this week in Honduras. Many will receive medication, some will recieve the gift of eternal life from Jesus Christ our Savior. It is after 3 a m. Here. I awakened and pray for God's Holy spirit to work before us, with us and after we leave this place. May all have salvation and saftey this week. Amen.

Don't hate on Hillsong ;-) I do understand what you're saying though. While I agree that many times they could cut the song length in half if they cut out the "droning", bear in mind that Hillsong songs are recorded live with a large praise team and large audience. That kind of thing just seems to happen for some reason.when it is live.
I guess technically one could argue that this video is live as well, but it more resembles a studio recording due to the setup and size of the audience. And, this song is a different style of music/song than what Hillsong typically produces.
I am in full agreement though that this song is a welcome change from Hillsong. Hillsong songs start to all sound the same. This song is such a beautiful tune to begin with and coupled with this arrrangement, it is phenomenal. And the Gettys performing it makes this song the whole package.
@@charleschampion5232 Hillsong is entertainment/performance driven music. Contemporary Christian music is a business. Read the words of the hymns of old. No comparison in my opinion.
I love that Bob Kauflin pops up out of nowhere at 3:41. Bob and the Gettys have written many songs that have ministered to me personally and our church family. Hoping to attend the Getty conference in 2017 in Nashville!

Ok, so where is the tune name that is being used? and i believe i heard this accomp on softrock95.5 last night while flipping through my Sirius XM on computer. sigh oh may God raise up Worship once more.
it's the tune to "The Church's One Foundation" (AURELIA - is the actual hymntune...from teh 1800s)
The tune is "Aurelia" which is the same tune as "The Church's One Foundation."
I don't think churches should use drums too liberally. The Bible tells us what instruments to use to worship God with. Drums are used in pagan cultures to put them into trances.
Am a Ugandan but local drums are very instrumental in church praise and worship. For churches more so in villages.
History has it that some missionaries could it paganism but I think this is colonialism to the extreme. Any instrument can be used in pagan worship.

Just because humans abuse a gift from God for evil purposes, doesn't mean that thing itself is evil. I mean, some old church buildings have been a home to heresy for centuries. Doesn't mean church buildings are bad. Same goes for sex and books!

why? If it's unsingable because it's a hard thing to ask God to do, then I agree! What a great line, please lord rebuke my slothful ease. You mean it's hard to get your mouth around? there is quite a lot of variation in how people say slot, which could be your issue?

And then I, as a northern british speaker, wondered if your accent made it harder to pronounce, cos to me is seems like any other phrase.
