Wow, I am just learning how to make some skinning knives for my friends who hunt. Can I say I love the final outcome, it's amazing and also your editing skills are awesome and so informative.I think I will be watching this a lot. Cheers 👍
wow very nice knife.i like watching knife making .then i go to my wrok shop and try mine not as nice, but it keeps me going and alive thank you so much for your skils...w.smith one day i will
First off I love that your wear g a knife while making a knife! I just saw your grind deflector plate on your grinder for the first time, that's awesome! And that wood just ok to on fire when you finished it! Great work man! Cheers
For the record I now nothing about making knives and fitting handles except what I've seen on RUclips. What I have noticed and if you are so inclined I see many of the knife makes will form the handle at the bolster before attaching it to the knife to prevent them from scratching the blade while forming the handle. Use it don't use it. Just an observation. Great design and I enjoy watching you make them!
It's actually easy to avoid scratches if you pay attention and the way we do it guarantees a better fit, especially on a wood that likes to slightly deform if it's not oiled right after sanding :)
Wow , wow wat a knife. Can you please tell me what's the black paste that you have used on the blade before the heat threat and what was the " boiling " process in that pot . Thank you. I'm watching your videos with pleasure.
Hello Beautiful knife !!! I love your work. Could you tell me what is the substance you apply to the blade at 16.19? And can you tell me why? Thank you
Hi, how do you know how long to keep the Blade in the keln when applying your heat treat? Do you have a scale or is it something you pick up with experience 🤔 thank you.
Yes, the solution is good till it works, we always reuse it a couple times. You can store it in the container that you cook it in, just make sure it's insulated. You can also use some stainless or plastic container
Its meloncote, something developed by a guy known here in the poland knifemakers world to be tempering expert, its precenting decarbonation of steel tempered up to 850deg C
You could absolutely do it with an angle grinder and a 100 dollar harbour freight 1x30 belt sander. It would be a bit harder to do. You could also do it using a hacksaw and hand files along with a handmade filing jig. You will also need some sandpaper, epoxy resin to glue the handles, and about a 100 dollars worth of insulating firebricks with propane burners to heat treat the knife- if you will use a steel that's easy to heat treat (like 5160 or 8670)..... and practice. Quite a lot of practice to make it look that good. I'm just starting myself. It's a lot of fun.
Very inspiring! Beautiful work
Fine piece of craftsmanship!
Thank you

Was this a one off? Didn’t see it on the website

Hello
Beautiful knife !!!
I love your work.
Could you tell me what is the substance you apply to the blade at 16.19?
And can you tell me why?
Thank you
You make really beautiful knifes I know I’ve asked before but I’d like to see knife sheaths in your build PLEASE
Hi, how do you know how long to keep the Blade in the keln when applying your heat treat? Do you have a scale or is it something you pick up with experience 🤔 thank you.
For 30 seconds you had me. I was thinking “I’ll do that!”..
Then the waterjet came into it...
The waterjet isn't necessary though
Barbershop Customs Just as well! 🤣
You could also use a bandsaw, angle grinder, or even a hacksaw
Love your channel, have you designed and made any flipper folders?
Good job :D
Thank you
Que lindo trabalho quanto mais um escrito 🔪

Rhynowet redline ( najlepszy papier jaki dostaniesz )
What's stabilized wood??
Beautiful knife, unfortunately the music was a bit much. But saying that loved what you created, really talented.
Мои Вам овации 👏👏👏👏👏
I could tell from the music that this was going to work out in the end.
Right choice of music is important
Awesome job and beautiful knife as usual! Can you tell me what the melonkote paste is? And if there is something equivalent in the US?
It's an anti decarb paste, but I don't know if there's an equivalent in the US
Another great video and an awesome knife! After the blackening solution cools, can you save it? If so, what is an acceptable container? Thank you!
Yes, the solution is good till it works, we always reuse it a couple times. You can store it in the container that you cook it in, just make sure it's insulated. You can also use some stainless or plastic container
Czemu używacie pasty do karoserii jako pasta do polerowania drewna? To działa?
Bo działa ;) Szybko i dobrze
Excuse me sir, what is that kind of grease that you apply on the sheet before the heat treatment? best regards

Show us how to do this when we don't have the $1000's of dollars to invest in all those tools! 🤪

What’s with the church music
The newest video is without any music, please let us know what you think :)
I think you ruin a good video with bg music, maybe it's just me but I think bg music does not improve a build video especially if it's a long one
We have released a video without any music a month ago :)
Awesome video trrible music. Had to mute
I watch these just for the music. With the 2 things I love together these are the most relaxing videos ever.
