I was hoping for 20, but I'll take 11. She's unrepentant, thinks she's the smartest person in the room, and dares to make new babies to use them as a shield from justice- Diane Downs would be proud!
I have to be honest I don't feel like she got enough for the damage she had done to people who thought her machine worked. I also think she is a very manipulative person and will find people who will be drawn to her and she will have her little groupies.
@DJ I think doing whataboutism is not good enough she affected people's health which is a very very serious issue one I feel she has gotten away with very lightly. Off the streets but not yet she will be allowed to have her baby, not everyone gets that privilege, the prison she will be in will have tv, games and luxuries like being able to email her family. What about the families whose lives were affected by her lack of care and empathy for people. She cared about herself and no one else. Disgusting person who i wish was going somewhere to rot but she will be put again enjoying her megabucks lifestyle with her children
Not only those reasons folks are angry but also having kids to use as pawns to get a lighter or no sentence. Disgraceful. Enough folks having kids to get government handouts and subsidies. Pawns, basically unwanted. Unbelievable people stoop this low.
@Esther Doyle Why are you so condescending? Why so arrogant? It's pretty fair to disagree with someone intentionally starting a family when facing a prison sentence. She just stole her child/children's foundational years with their mother.
For me it’s the fact she tested this on real patients knowing it didn’t work. They had to know it didn’t work because they altered other machines to run the tests. Her lack of remorse for putting people in danger is a big problem.
Medical fraud is a grievous offence. They potentially kill some people, or at least put patients on treatment plans for diseases that they don't have. May she rot behind bars.
When Holmes was portrayed as such a genius used the victim card as a woman in that she said she was raped, abused by Balwani, and pregnancies is beyond me! It is very hard to overturn a jury decision on appeal! Elizabeth should have been taken into custody that day! Millions of babies are born in jail! Elizabeth Holmes is a liar! I was glad she was sentenced and the sentence was heavy!
I do not understand WHY she was not taken into custody right away. All other criminals are immediately handcuffed and taken away. It is that only for black but not white women?
Your empathy for Holmes is clear and quite admirable but I think the sentence she received was entirely appropriate. Lets not forget apart from the investors there were lots of people who were indirect victims of her criminality such as the patient who thought she was having a miscarriage when she wasn't, the people who thought they were well when they weren't, the member of staff who was bullied into silence then killed himself and was shown no remorse or consideration by anyone at Theranos, the whistle-blowers who were persecuted legally and personally. She showed no contrition or remorse until it benefitted her, she even used her own children in an attempt to garner sympathy and reduce her sentence. She had access to the best lawyers available and that gave her access to the kind of justice the vast majority of us could never afford. Life has given her opportunity after opportunity and she blew it. Justice on this occasion has been well served.
If you look at this in a vacuum, then fine! But how about all the "bankers", and hedge fund managers, whose entire existence is about gaming the system, and playing roulette with the retirement funds of working people?? These charlatans lost Trillions in 2008, and continue to this day, and not a single one went to jail!! People like Steven A. Cohen (whose entire business model is insider information), never went jail! And how about people like Bill Ackman, who go on CNBC to decry an entire sector, only to short sell it!! There are way, way worse criminals in our midst who seem to defy justice!! Elizabeth Holmes is a lightweight, and her sentence is disgusting and totally unfair!! But I can see it's like throwing red meat to the average ignoramous!!!
Those of us who had parents that taught us the importance of honesty and fairness should consider ourselves lucky and blessed, in spite of the challenges.
Seems to me it should be seen as seriously as violent....how many lives might have been destroyed, literally, due to manipulation, arrogance and and premeditated, unrepentant actions.? Their financial destruction, reputations, health etc. And to how many,or companies crippled by her "genius" tactics??? Oh please, what a soft fall for her. And now 2 children without a mother, and in jail for fraud, what impact does that have on their psyche and upbringing? Wow wow wow
She should’ve pled guilty. No way was she going to be found not guilty, there was obvious fraud, not mention an extensive cover up. Her lawyers should’ve explained to her that the best thing for her was to plead guilty and try and get a lesser sentence. Trying to blame the whole thing on Balwani, nobody believed that for a second. She was CEO and the whole thing was her idea. Then to have 2 kids knowing the kind of nightmare you‘re bringing them into. Totally nuts!
The delicious part was it was so close and yet so far for her. Innocent of 4… hung on 3 …guilty of 4. She almost got off but not quite.😁 And such a verdict showed the jury weight in all the evidence and so her motions to acquit and appeal were doomed to fail. Now she’s sentenced she’s appealing again. Given how the judge handled this trial…her appeal will fail. She is going to prison sooner or later, even if it’s a low security “camp” but it’s still prison where she have to adhere to a schedule and no longer the one in charge.
acting exactly as a third world young girl , manipulative, thief, dishonest, & having babies ASAP! very typical veeery typical i see it alot here not too different just education levels are

It starts with acceptance, then it’s up to you to do the work. If you’re going through hell keep going. Even if it’s baby steps, as long as they’re in the right direction, keep taking them. Believe in yourself. Surround yourself with positive people. You’re not a tree, you can move. Don’t make excuses. You weren’t put here to suffer, but you will know suffering. Use these trials and tribulations to strengthen you and grow into the best version of yourself. Always look at your choices like holding out both hands. In one hand is regret if you do, and in the other is regret if you don’t. Beware of the self pity trap. If you really want to change your life, it starts by changing your mind. You got this.

I got u beat. I had to spend an extra year in medical school and did the same thing. lack of gratitude , self centeredness and fear were my troubles. I am just like Elizabeth Holmes. I just didnt have the opportunities she had so im not in federal prison.
I get it, I spent 30 months in the FED and at first was very angry and my heart was full of hatred and fantasizing about revenge.. I took some self help courses on the inside. Three of them changed my life. 1. How to manage negative self talk and accept responsibility for your actions and put the blame where it belongs. The victims are not to blame. Once you do that, forgive yourself. 2.Understanding the different kinds of thinking errors and the one's you are prone to. You can then begin to work on the way you process triggers. 3. Rational Self Analysis, understanding what you want the outcome to be in any given situation to be and how to make it happen. I know I have said a lot. I have taken back control of my life, avoid triggers, and negativity.
I so wish everyone would do what I did at 50: I went to a trauma program in Florida. The Refuge. Near Ocala. It helps people aged 18-80, for every type of trauma: from vets to housewives. I went for Codependency issues. And recovery from PTSD. It completely changed my life.
I certainly didn’t plan to watch this for 40 minutes, but you pulled me in and kept my rapt attention. I’ve never had any contact with law enforcement, the justice system, prison, or even lawyers…I feel I learned so much listening to you. Things about my own attitudes, my own choices. You’re words should be heard not only by those going to prison, but anyone who may be having trouble taking responsibility for their choices and relationships. Which, at one time or another, is pretty much everyone.
One thing that got a lot of people upset: when asked questions by major media, she showed zero remorse for those that were wronged/hurt. Example: when she was asked if she felt bad that she ran a company that made grandiose promises, produced nothing useful, and it hurt medical patients, her answer was, "It made me a better leader." My reaction was, "Oh whoopie sh*t for YOU!! Not one word for people that were misdiagnosed?" (Which, by the way, that sounds an awful lot like practicing medicine without a license and that's how a lot of people are taking it. A doctor would have to really answer that but it looks REALLY bad!)
@@PungiFungi Yes, AND if she has a shot at getting a lower sentence or time off for showing some remorse. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for her parole hearing.
I want to say thank you for your invaluable wisdom - not only for Elizabeth but for all humans who have made mistakes that have effected the trajectory of their life and have hurt their loved ones due to these mistakes. I wish I had you in my pocket as I dredge through this mess of a life I have made and make attempts at coming out on the other side as a person who is still able to give love and receive love. My fear is that I have gotten to the point that neither one of those are possible for me. Your words encouraged me and shed a glimmer of hope on my tomorrow. Thank you
I agree about the employment part of this. What did she do after? She got a boyfriend, went on vacation, and had kids with him? Not showing much remorse there!
Justin, I’ve stumbled across your channel while binging on white collar crime documentaries, and I am truly impressed by the uniqueness of your channel. Most narratives lead us all to believe our lives are irreparable following a felony conviction, especially one that results in a prison sentence. I don’t know what your particular story was, but to have the grit, self discipline, and tenacity to not let your mistakes define you, to endure your punishment, and then emerge with a greater perspective on life, in addition to leveraging knowledge you honed while serving, is a triumphant underdog story. Our insecurities and worry of other peoples opinions drown us all, and it’s great to see you as an example of surmounting the obstacles that we create for ourselves. Best wishes as your channel continues to expand!
Allison Mack got 3 years , when the prosecution asked for 17 . Allison worked as a caterer and studied for a degree , while she waited for her sentence . How much less time would Elizabeth Holmes have gotten if she worked or went back to school ?
Can you imagine ELEVEN YEARS in federal prison? A young child. And a new baby. Then it’s ELEVEN YEARS locked up. Yep the babies are her own fault. But, despite that, eleven years is a very long time. I’d say that’s enough
@Janitor Queen even if she didn’t harm sick people, she would still deserves worse. The audacity to take so much of people’s money based on a lie!!! no morals or values smh
@@internetpolification The babies were just props to try to get people like you feeling sorry for her! Just one person on the jury who 'felt sorry for the children' and she would have been accquitted. She knew this. Everything she does is to try to keep herself out of prison. Everything. Which is odd, considering she doesn't think she did anything wrong.
Wow, I wasn’t sure clicking on this video. The insight and empathy you portray is so profound, I was moved. I enjoy listening to guys like Larry Lawton so its interesting hearing about this side of prison. And your advice is so wholesome. I can see how easy it would be for someone like Elizabeth to side with staff, but the rule universally is to refrain from that. It’s going to be an adjustment for her, for sure. I hope she can hear your advice and take it to heart. I know I enjoyed it. Subbed!
One is astonished at the kind and sympathetic tones concerning this criminal-because this is what she is a serious fraud criminal of the most despicable type, especially because she is and there are thousands of female prisoners who are there for Stealing food to feed their children; for other small offences compared to this. Did not anyone teach her right from wrong? Good from bad? She enjoyed herself very much. She deserves the sentence she has.
Found you on Lee's channel , and think you do amazing work charting the course. My take from your conversation when entering prison is to plan ahead so you can start the way you want to finish.
I watched your first videos on Holmes. One of the videos pertained to how best approach life post conviction, including what you discussed in this video. Everything you said in that early video proved to be reality. I’m one of those pleased for her longer sentence. The risk she posed to the health and welfare of the people using her technology was unforgivable, much less the people who worked for her and suffered from her and Balwani’s abuse. Lastly, I actually think that Balwani is slightly less responsible than Holmes - to me she is a Black Widow.
I also agree 100%. Unfortunately for Balwani, the juries didn't see it that way. The two were identically charged on 12 counts and tried separately. Holmes was convicted on 4/12 counts; Balwani was convicted on 12/12. Even though she instigated all of it, he is found more guilty. Something isn't right. His sentencing is Dec. 7 by the same judge; it's going to be interesting.
Thanks so much for sharing valuable insights. Asylum by Erving Goffman is a classic sociological study of "total institutions," the author's term for places where you work, eat, and sleep. That includes prisons, military service, monasteries, boarding schools, and residential medical facilities. Elizabeth Holmes should read that book before next April.
Wow just subscribed. Your content is not only fascinating, but useful for people who aren’t headed to prison. The important of accountability, humbleness, and spending time wisely is such a great message!
@@rocketguitar1 well said, there are black folks who defrauded the state of under 2 million and is currently serving 28 years in fed prison as we speak. Meanwhile...holmes
I've really enjoyed your videos on this. You've been thorough, clear, and fair. I think the reason she never truly took responsibility is because she's a true zealot. She believes her own lies and really believes she is a genius. Her husband called her a zealot in his letter to the judge, which was a head scratcher. But that makes her dangerous and very likely to do this again to redeem herself in the eyes of everyone else. She desperately needs to be seen as special and I don't think anything will stop her from trying to prove that to the world. I don't think her ego will ever let her fade away like she should. Great content. Carry on.
Holmes wants to be thought of as special, as some genius savant wiz kid but the reality of the situation is she doesn’t have any game, just pipe dreams.
I agree as he provides excellent insight and experienced based recommendations. The image I was left with was Holmes climbing up to her upper bunk on a narrow ladder and not having the familiar surroundings she enjoyed at home. Lots of tears coming her way.
@@lornarettig3215 yes! There’s nothing intellectually special about Elizabeth Holmes. Guess she thought if she looked, acted, and treated people like Steve Jobs she could be a Steve Jobs! @@Jameschewingfoil It’s still a lot less than she could have been facing. One could argue that she is still not facing the proper consequence for her behaviour.
I disagree with you when you said it's a very, very long sentence! Her sentence is too short and does not fit the crimes she committed. She will also get deductions for her short sentence which will make it an even shorter amount of time that she will serve and that is disgusting! I also disagree with you when you said she will spend a lot of time moving forward in regret... the only thing she has regretted and will continue to regret is getting caught!

You addressed this with so much compassion, magnetism, class and knowledge. Thanks for sharing your unique insights. Your story and "redemption arc" are quite remarkable
I worked with inmates for decades in state and federal prisons as a mental health professional. Considering her wealthy lifestyle, she will experience bouts of depression and there will days when she feels like she will never make it through her sentence. The people on the outside who continue to support her will be worth more then all the money she made. She is hated by millions of people and when she gets out some will remember her. I think she will continue to deny responsibility for what she did which means that she will feel that she is unjustly incarcerated. The only thing she seems to be sorry about is that she was not smart enough to avoid being caught. Men form very different relationships with one another than women when they are incarcerated. Women form micro families whereas men tend stay to themselves. Women want to know every detail about one another. She has two children, if she is bonded with them she will watch them grow without her and they will not know her. They might wind up hating her. It will be a long, lonely road, she needs to stay busy.
Of course she will continue to deny responsibility. She is so pompous and entitled that she can't believe she is being held accountable. I despise her type and it serves her right if prison is a long, desolate road. I'll be amazed if baby-daddy doesn't dump her as well.
I highly doubt that she has bonded with the children, given her obviously twisted personality disorder. The manipulation, the avoidance of any accountability, the lack of empathy for others--these are all the opposite of motherly traits. Everyone knows her pregnancies were a tactic to avoid trial. Wouldn't be surprised if she conceives a third before jail time.
The AUSA also makes the call to the region, and most of the time they add all those bogus management variables to punish you for going to trial such as diesel therapy and bogus custody points. I took the govt. to trial and lost received a 106 months and was sent to USP Leavenworth back when it was maximum security, my custody was 27 points originally. I figured out the custody games they where playing eventually I was placed in medium security, then low, then a camp. Ironically I finished my last two years working inside the ADX Supermax
I grew up in the same town she did - I am familiar with the milieux in which she existed - it is chock full of self granted entitlement and condescension - she has totally reverted to type in her post collapse behavior - she has for whatever reason been massively enabled . If she had plead guilty and did as you said , taken responsibility for her actions and expressed contrition she would by now be far ahead in the process of rehabilitation.
Why am I not surprised. People who don't realise that their privilege is the reason for basically all of their 'success' are the worst. And I agree - if she'd owned up, she might even be out of prison by now. It's been 4 years.
You mean the lawyers that were in the lawsuits before her trial? Many people suspect her current legal team is paid via some form of insurance policy she took out during Theranos’ active years. If that’s the case she knew this may happened one day.
This was really awesome! It’s interesting to hear from someone who’s been through the process. You’re very well spoken. Relistening. I love this. This man is my new mentor. Just through these videos and through his writings, which I haven’t gotten yet, but I did get Michael santos book on audible and enjoyed. I needed to hear all work is honorable bc I was a low level criminal and kind of was so justified in it in that insidious way and so I need to hear this bc I been whining and complaining all the way to the bank as I work my new straight job for the last ten years and hate it bc I am not the ball of greatness I thought was in my low level criminal fantasy mindset. Lesson learned. All work is honorable. Why me? Why not me.
I hope this helps too, because I can really understand why do many young people get drawn into crime as they don't see any respect dealt the hard-working ordinary guy, especially in the US. But your low-level job very likely REALLY matters. If you make stuff, if you drive, if you clean - whatever it is, it matters more than almost any high-paying job I can think of. Do us ordinary people need eye-wateringly wealthy bankers, fund managers etc? Nope. Do we need the ridiculously overpaid sports, movie and music stars? Hell no! Elon Musk, Donald Trump and every other rich businessman who manipulates business and tax codes to "succeed?" No. Remove them tomorrow and we'd not blink an eye. But remove the people who make stuff, move stuff around, put stuff on shelves to feed us and clean up after us - we need you. We really need you. And if you're doing it having given up the high-risk but easy money of crime then I salute the shit out of you, because it's us little people who make the world work.

You said in this post that she would need to look forward and in your story I think you are very remorseful for your actions and paid the price. You say everyday you try to redeem yourself but it appears to me that by doing what you are doing that is redemption. I have been a Law Enforcement Officer now an Administrative Lieutenant for nearly 30 years and believe that if one breaks the law myself included they should pay the price and believe sir you have and came out the other side a successful citizen of society. A question is will her husband stick around for all the years she's in prison? It's a hard thing to do and lots of partners don't. Also, if he divorces her will he sue for custody of the children? Probably. Again, lots of partners do and it can be hard and expensive to get custody once you're out of prison and done with probation. Some prisoners are barred from even supervised visits with children. So that's a whole other situation she may have to deal with.
Every male guard should be counseled to avoid her sexual advances, THAT would get her out. All of HER victims, she just pays lip service. Employees who outed Elizabeth Holmes suffered as well, everything she touched but her boyfriend and unnamed, unidentified participants in her fraud were hurt by her, a cheating, liar that is a complete fraud. Unbelievable she was able to receive such a short prison sentence that will very likely be much shorter than the 11 years. IF that was any one of us, our experience would be SO much different.
It always amazed me that while she was involved in a scandal and up to her eyeballs in a legal nightmare and it was clear that she was guilty of fraud ends up married to a handsome and wealthy husband who is devoted to her and their children. I have known of other examples of people who are either evil, sociopaths, psychopaths, or narcissists who also find loving and devoted spouses.
You seem to be rooting for her, encouraging her. I want to know why she ISN'T in custody, why she gets the kid glove treatment. My suspicion is the two-tiered justice system. An average Joe like me would have been led away in shackles. And I want so much to see this peacock in shackles. She feasted off of her clients and isn't sorry for having done that.
Interesting for those who dont know. Nitty gritty info for life in prison. Seems a great job helping those who face this life and interesting for those who do not. Thank you.
I was wondering about that as I saw a doco about a women who had to self surrender to federal prison at 35 weeks pregnant. However, Michelle's analysis broke the possibilities down - there may not have been room at MINTS (the mother and infant program) OR the judge may have been conscious about using more tax payers money paying for MINTS when she could simply start her sentence as soon as her baby is born without that complication.
@@thisisanaussiegal3590 lmao. It is not uncommon for imprisoned women to give birth unattended in their own prison cells and having the baby die because it fell in its head right out of the womb. So no, there does not need to be a MINTS or anything if the sort to put a pregnant woman in prison here in the US. It was only recently that they were allowed to unshackle their feet while giving birth! The system here is vicious and that’s what Elizabeth Holmes deserves. She was premeditatedly vicious with everyone she came across and the people that died as a result of her garbage medical equipment.
How does federal prison deal with a pregnancy? It sounds like the Dublin facility is badly overcrowded and in spite of being minimum security there's plenty of razor wire. Recent allegations of sexual abuse by the staff. I thoroughly enjoy your programs. Fascinating! You're so right that all work is honorable.
Great knowledge and content here. Question: Why no prison for her until April '23? % She could she get off on appeal between now and incarceration? thanks
Appeals don't take that short of time. It's usually 6-8 weeks after sentencing for self surrendering. However I'm guessing they're letting her have her baby before she self surrenders?

@DJ I think doing whataboutism is not good enough she affected people's health which is a very very serious issue one I feel she has gotten away with very lightly. Off the streets but not yet she will be allowed to have her baby, not everyone gets that privilege, the prison she will be in will have tv, games and luxuries like being able to email her family. What about the families whose lives were affected by her lack of care and empathy for people. She cared about herself and no one else. Disgusting person who i wish was going somewhere to rot but she will be put again enjoying her megabucks lifestyle with her children
She will probably be out in 8 for good behavior.. Then she'll be back to ripping off.. She married a multi millionaire just shows how she manipulates
But I read recently she had the nerve to try & start a new business! She’s a shameless sociopath!
Did anyone die as a result of her lies?
Not only those reasons folks are angry but also having kids to use as pawns to get a lighter or no sentence. Disgraceful. Enough folks having kids to get government handouts and subsidies. Pawns, basically unwanted. Unbelievable people stoop this low.
I think she just needed to have the kids because of her age and the possible prison sentence ahead. They will be loved and well cared for.
Add 2 more victims to her list! They are supposed to be her trump card!
@@walkyourdog6584 How would you know? Narcissists don’t love their kids anyway. They are incapable of real love.
@@lisamarielund6292 why are you so angry
@Esther Doyle Why are you so condescending? Why so arrogant? It's pretty fair to disagree with someone intentionally starting a family when facing a prison sentence. She just stole her child/children's foundational years with their mother.
For me it’s the fact she tested this on real patients knowing it didn’t work. They had to know it didn’t work because they altered other machines to run the tests. Her lack of remorse for putting people in danger is a big problem.
Completely agree, and the actual cases of misdiagnosis, didn't even form part of the charges brought against her. That is disgraceful.
She came up with this idea before she ever met Sunny, didn't she? These baseless excuses are so ridiculous.
Not heavy enough IMO
I do not understand WHY she was not taken into custody right away. All other criminals are immediately handcuffed and taken away. It is that only for black but not white women?
At least the taxpayers will not be paying for the cost of her delivery.
Justice on this occasion has been well served.
well put
This 100%!
Exactly!
She needed a longer sentence.

Her lawyers will keep working until her money is all gone and then they'll say "Sorry we have exhausted all legal options- goodbye"
Getting pregnant for the second time is so selfish. These kids are going to suffer the most. If she was not so privileged, she'd be in custody tonight
It's not a privilege. It's a non violent crime so there is little to no risk for her to be out of custody until self surrender.
Wow wow wow
she's a manipulator
They won't suffer at all. They'll have nannies. The best schools and be spoiled rotten
She was facing a prison sentence that would likely have her leaving prison post menopause. This is the best option in that scenario.
I'm delighted her self-righteous, I'm-the-smartest-in-the-room pomposity was well and truly popped.
I am sure her lawyers did suggest that, but she is not the type that listens to advice.

It starts with acceptance, then it’s up to you to do the work. If you’re going through hell keep going. Even if it’s baby steps, as long as they’re in the right direction, keep taking them.
I pray you recover now!

Same here - some sagely advice which is applicable to us non-felons alike. Was well worth the watch !

Great video, Justin. Especially "all work is honorable."
….11 years are not enough…but better than 18 month house arrest….
Can you imagine ELEVEN YEARS in federal prison? A young child. And a new baby. Then it’s ELEVEN YEARS locked up. Yep the babies are her own fault. But, despite that, eleven years is a very long time. I’d say that’s enough

@@internetpolification The babies were just props to try to get people like you feeling sorry for her! Finally!
Happy day indeed. Let's see more like it.
I agree 100%
I also agree 100%. Unfortunately for Balwani, the juries didn't see it that way. The two were identically charged on 12 counts and tried separately. Holmes was convicted on 4/12 counts; Balwani was convicted on 12/12. Even though she instigated all of it, he is found more guilty. Something isn't right. His sentencing is Dec. 7 by the same judge; it's going to be interesting.
Thanks so much for sharing valuable insights.

I agree. She feels entitled, and she will not engage in self reflection. She has no empathy and will not accept responsibility for what she has done.
Of course she will continue to deny responsibility. She is so pompous and entitled that she can't believe she is being held accountable. I despise her type and it serves her right if prison is a long, desolate road. I'll be amazed if baby-daddy doesn't dump her as well.
@@lornarettig3215 Right
I highly doubt that she has bonded with the children, given her obviously twisted personality disorder. The manipulation, the avoidance of any accountability, the lack of empathy for others--these are all the opposite of motherly traits. Everyone knows her pregnancies were a tactic to avoid trial. Wouldn't be surprised if she conceives a third before jail time.
And you think this is just?? You sicko!!!

I believe you’re the first one to announce it. I haven’t found it anywhere else on RUclips
I’m a mother of a son 58 years old still serving time I just can’t believe at times this is all happening to me. Probably would help him to hear a lot of this. I’ve listened to him complain since I was 38 years old abt prison but I have to remind myself he made the choices I only stood by him & probably always will. My heart is so numb of feeling of being lied to & manipulated all of his life. All I ever wanted is for him to have respect of life in general. Am I wrong it is def breaking me down 😢
Is your son actually guilty? If so, did he get a fair sentence?
I’m so sorry for your heartbreak.
Very sorry for your pain Arlene. I'm sending you a virtual hug. Mothers are amazing and we would be lost without them. They never give up on us and you are essential to keep the world running x
It's not wrong for a mother to love her son no matter what he did be it wrong or right. But of course that doesn't mean you have to let him destroy you with manipulation and lies. Love him but live your life on your terms.
you should reach out spiritually for answers to this....as a Buddhist I can tell you that the greatest Karmic relationship on Planet Earth is that of Mother-Son.....u are aware of being manipulated so you have made the first hurdle....god give you peace
"All work is honorable" nailed it
So I have followed Elizabeth Homes and was interested in today’s sentencing. I found your channel today so decided to look you up and read your story which was very interesting. I also think since you paid then society. and I certainly do not, should not hold your past against you. As a matter of fact I am proud of what you have become and for learning a lesson from you past. The ones I have no forgiveness for are those who never learn and completely repeat their past of crime. I enjoyed the video so much I liked and subscribed to your channel. Good luck sir and heed your own advise and look forward.
Thank you, very informative and great insight and content.
Thank you so much!
@@WhiteCollarAdviceOfficial what was that quote you made in your why I went to prison video, it went it is not what you steal it is what you attain etc?
“The value of a thing sometimes lies not in what one attains with it, but in what one pays for it - what it costs us.”
@@WhiteCollarAdviceOfficial thank you, also I really enjoyed your honesty and informative content. Brian. Liverpool. UK.
As you said, she is not your client but does some part of you think 'if only she had listened to me?' It doesn't appear that she ever listened to anyone...other than her co-conspirator.
You are wonderful! I wish the Chrisleys knew who you were. You could have helped them so much. You helped my friend and for that I am grateful. I love the fact that you push the fact that people should own what they did. Again Thank you!
They aren't married.
Fair question. I don't know her personally so I have no clue, but I would guess those might not be at the top of her priorities list.
I'd be amazed if her 20-something, handsome, billionaire baby-daddy didn't dump her for someone half her age even without going to prison.
I guess he would automatically get custody since she would be in prison.
He's gone...handsome and rich and will realize he made a huge mistake...she comes out old broke and a single mom...
You did a great job. Thanks.
Thank you!
Hope she watches this video, she needs all the information you’re sharing.
I hope so too
Loved this advice, and I haven’t had any legal problems.
Insightfull. Thanxxxxx.
Thank you.
Excellent service you are doing
Thank you
You are and absolute inspiring man. Bless you 🙏
She's got at least that much in millions stashed away for when she gets out...
So very interesting. Thank you for your candor.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
Even Ted Bundy and Richard Ramirez had groupies.
@@PungiFungi Unfortunately, there will always be people who blindly follow people who are charismatic and do not seem them for who they really are.
Excellent information! Where have you been? I'm hanging around. Thanks
Its mostly because she is pregnant. Which is probably appropriate since the baby is innocent.
Interesting for those who dont know. Nitty gritty info for life in prison. Seems a great job helping those who face this life and interesting for those who do not. Thank you.
She is getting special treatment for being pregnant. That’s bs.
She got pregnant purposely, the woman is an actual psychopath.
The judge is requesting that she serve time in a prison in Texas outside of Houston.
Bryan Prison Camp in TX
How does federal prison deal with a pregnancy? It sounds like the Dublin facility is badly overcrowded and in spite of being minimum security there's plenty of razor wire. Recent allegations of sexual abuse by the staff.
I thoroughly enjoy your programs. Fascinating! You're so right that all work is honorable.
This video is delicious. I hope that in the coming years, we can talk about Sam Bankman-Fried like this. Good luck with your business. Great content.
Great knowledge and content here. Question: Why no prison for her until April '23? % She could she get off on appeal between now and incarceration? thanks
I also want to know
Appeals don't take that short of time. It's usually 6-8 weeks after sentencing for self surrendering. However I'm guessing they're letting her have her baby before she self surrenders?
@@kevinl9793 Probably… but I’m sick of her getting special treatment. Women have to give birth in prison all the time and I don’t see why she keeps skating on this.
@@lornarettig3215 That happens but you might be thinking more on state level. BOP hates convoluted processes and complexities. Prob easier and cheaper to have the baby on her own dime then report herself in.
@@kevinl9793 I appreciate your explanation, Kevin - it’s not your fault that we’re all still frustrated!
