I was literally looking for something like this to slap my old gte parts onto a ge vvti
But this is on a non air assist lower manifold. For early 2JZ. Most have a lower manifold with air assist in their is300 or gs300 sc300 with the vvti na. Sourcing a lower manifold is getting tough. So really it's lower manifold, Rad Dan adapter, and GTE upper plenum.

This is awesome, I will be looking at this for my is300. Can you make an adapter on the exhaust side to use gte exhaust manifolds. There is also a huge cost difference in gte log manifolds and ge log manifolds
Buy a SPA twin scroll t4 cast manifold. The GE version they sell has equal length runners. It's aight. Heavy tho.

@@jicez6649 the other gangster one is from treadstone performance. I don't have experience with that one tho. I only have the SPA one I told you about. Depending on your clearance or downpipe aim both are something to consider with placement and heat management.
@@dashiznit89 I read some good things on the treadstone for the is300 and I almost bought it but I steered my car part funds to a manual swap instead but still gathering and researching parts for a turbo build sometime in the future
@@jicez6649 noice. Hells yeah dude keep going. It'll give you time to come up on a non vvti GE bottom for spare when you maxout the vvti na rods or the misc stuff that always adds up.

Hello buddy, I want to use gte's intake manifold on my Ge and continue running na. I don't know if you have tried it. Do you think it is possible for gte's intake manifold + ge's throttle to work without modifying the ECU settings?

Nevermind saw some one made a video 10 months ago and he showed it doesn't fit the is300 :(
@@11onejay check out DODO racing, they make a custom lower manifold that bolts the ge head to GTE upper manifold
i would just spend the money on a good intake manifold for my is300. If i gotta do all sorts of stuff to get it to fit. i just spend the money.

With no adapter it usually hits an IS300 hood so this will most likely not fit.

Does this work on the IS300? There are other adapters like this on the market but they don't work on the IS300 because the plenum or TB will hit the hood.
All adapters will have the intake hit the hood so either deal with it (which sucks) or have it welded
He said he doesn’t have that chassis bro so if you have a gte plenum you could watch the video and get a rough measurement.. it’ll be really close but you really won’t know until you have all the parts installed or find someone with this setup.
@@920.streetstyle I don't understand why someone can't make one of these adapters with a slight turndown to lower the plenum a bit. I may try to get creative and space out the subframe or try to lower my 2 piece poly engine mounts.

@@920.streetstyle that's a good idea or maybe getting a junkyard hood to experiment on for clearance. I have an is300 and wouldn't mind making the ff intake my next project.
