After I got platinum for ff7r, I picked up Nier:automata and I was happy with it until I came across this video. Now I am back at ff7r with all save files deleted....attempting to feel these touching moments in game again.

I have waited for this video since I saw it's premiere date yesterday. You did not disappoint with the beauty of this video. I love how you framed the stanzas . How you didn't really go in chronological order, but their connection. Ugh, I really wish there were more videos of them they have that look in their eyes whenever looking at one another. One thing I'm looking forward to in the Remake continuity is where they have to save the Huge Materia in Cid's rocket, and Cid, Cloud, Shera and the character of choice gets to go into space.
In my headcanon, the only one Cloud will be bringing with him to space is his beloved Tifa.
They just came back from the Lifestream, he's shed the SOLDIER persona and is the true Cloud, and Tifa's the one who stayed with him in his vegetative state, fought the voices around her, and repaired Cloud's mind.
Considering their promise beneath the stars all those years ago as young teenagers/preteens (and in Remake, Cloud shows he remembers Tifa every time he looks at a starry sky), then reuniting in Sector 7 (and in Remake, their apartments are next door in "Stargazer Heights"), and their descent into the depths of the planet... for them to rise to the heavens together would be fitting for them, a full circle to their story.

The canon ending to the original is they wind up together so I hope it stays the same and they don't pander to aerith lovers. I love aerith especially in the remake but tifa is clouds true love.

I'm a Cloti who "prefers" (in some way) Clerith just beacuse I don't want to see Tifa struggling with Cloud after Aerith gone away... It hurts me so so much seeing Tifa suffering for that in the game and Advent Children... I just want my girl to be happy with or without Cloud.
But in my heart, I will always have faith in Cloti.
The way he is always touching her... I can´t hold my heart. I truly believe he isn't very conscius about that fact, but he is always there.
God, Cloti hits me SO HARD no matter what.

i already have a CloTi video for Rewrite the Stars, however i was considered updating it, replacing the other scenes i used and making it purely footage from the Remake ^^

Wow it’s so nice to see people who love both girls without hate another. When I saw some1 said aerith is just stepping stone for tifa or tifa just nothing but appearance, I felt sad.

Have you watched AC complete? cloud wasn't struggling only because aerith died. Before the start of AC, he was actually very happy but the geostigma happened so he goes away so that tifa or etc wont get infected. that's one thing. now, keep in mind, aerith isn't the only one cloud feels he has failed. this includes tifa's fall, other traumas, his mother, but above all both aerith and zack (both are equally impactful and painful for him, that's why these two were together talking to him). this guy has done nothing but want to be a hero but keeps on failing anyway. therefore he believes he is incapable of protecting anyone, and now he's even dying. As stupid as it sounds, cloud going away from tifa is actually a twisted kind of love coming from him if you ask me (like shes better off without him etc. plus if he never really cared, why would he still keep listening to her calls? its simply because he cares for her A LOT and them truly. but you know cloud is a clumsy dude who still has a lot of trauma , he'd rather sacrifice himself if it meant for the greater good. he only appeared hyper emo in AC because when it first came out, CC wasn't there yet so people really thought he was only sad about aerith, but it wasn't that 1D at all. in any case Id call him troubled and depressed for good reason. After OG > 2 years of adjusting and happiness + peace > now another deadly problem arrives+ something related to sepiroth again (cause of a lot of his trauma) > he gets infected and might die + denzel > We know who cloud wants to save the most right? .....dun dun dun TIFA (so obviously failing/letting her die would mean like a death sentence to him basically, especially if he thinks its his fault) > he goes away to be a hobo essentially thennnn > tifa and friends slowly bring him back slowly but surely (to show him that they care and that they are waiting) > aerith saves the day (geostigma) while she and zack reprimand cloud lol (these two huhu) and tell him that the solution on his problem was never them forgiving him but rather to find the forgiveness within... something cloud should have learned from the moment he felt like he let tifa fall during their childhood. this is cloud's final arc all through out his conflict of "failure"the literal reason why it didn't occur to him that tifa might like him due to his inferiority complex (that's why he thinks he needed to be a hero). basically everyone helped him piece together his sanity back again to reality.
The thing about heroism and cloud is actually also an illusion of his . I mean if we take a look at the irony of his and tifa's relationship. She saves him just as much he saves her despite her being the one asking for a hero. at least to me FF7 inst about heroism or becoming someone else but to be able to face the challenges of life NOT ALONE, but to face it together with someone else as you are also being your own true self (his imperfections etc laid bare vulnerable). You cant save the world alone/ be a hero alone/ be the protagonist alone, that's why at the end of Case of Tifa, cloud tells tifa that "everything is different now because I have you", she tells him that he always had her and he pauses a bit then replies "what I mean is kind of different". I kind of feel like cloud is finally letting go of his need to be the "hero", he's just cloud, period. He's tifa's cloud, he's him self's cloud etc or maybe an imperfect hero, but a hero nonetheless. Now, he can separate being this "idealized hero" (the illusion) and just accepts being himself as he is, by doing so he is able to be together or one with tifa, as they face these challenges and pressures together in life. in short He has finally learned to accept himself exactly for who he is (that he is worthy to be with tifa despite the flaws) just as tifa has always accepted him from the very start (since childhood lol, this guy could have easily skipped steps hah). I know I sound like a broken record but I just really love this about them, I mean they are both yin and yang of each other as shown in AC. why are people so blind on these two's connection? it can never be NTR'd lol, even if you think it did, it never really did.
In short, you don't gotta worry I swear from start to finish this whole pairing just screams realistic healthy marriage where one cannot work alone, but only together (to trust and rely on one another). BUT HELL YEAH after 25 + years of hell, I hope we get like something of a happier narrative from them on screen/ game (not just novels lol). plus I just wish SE pulls this off and actually end this whole Ship war. Where ZA and CT is endgame and CA was actually only a red herring/ illusion, of which they both coped for Z and T respectively (one due to intense grief and the other due to extreme trauma = trauma bonding >>>>> then friends , if aerith lived in OG tbh but in remake I think they're friends lol she's doing what she wasn't able to do before in OG, its complicated but in short aerith is also awakened from the "not real" feelings they had back in OG, feelings that should have been directed onto someone else instead , with Z and T). Man I really do get a feeling both Zack and Aerith are still gonna die but this time, they wont go alone, they'll have each other, they'll face this together with a bang and it just makes me cry, this is the other star crossed lovers that are fated to reunite again no matter what or where they go. Man, Fingers Crossed !! I hope we get two incredible love stories (ZA & CT) for the next parts. Something truly worthy of the 25+ years of waiting/ accumulation of the IP.
holy shit THIS is their song lol. from "color and promises" to "one step closer", etc lol it's so cloti as they are the real star crossed lovers. they had to literally go the extra mile just to be together. while Zerith is the exact same.

Cloud himself still doesn't know who he really was , well it normal for soldier to have such traumatic experience since war. So for now , cloud is searching for himself , but i can see it all alright when i see Cloud smile in AC mean that he has recover himself , it just that they didn't continue the relathionship between cloud and tifa.

Well i've never seen a friend relationship where they both live together and only 4 of them!!. SE has make it obvious , it just people still think they both are still friend. Just stupid.

4:47 if Tifa dies ima loose my shit😭, it would be more controversial than Aerith’s death and would cause an uproar in the community. Without Tifa, Cloud would not be able to regain his memories and he will be stuck with being Soldier!Cloud not Real!Cloud. The devs already stated in the ultimania that they will follow the events of the OG so I don’t think it will happen. And we cannot forget about the foreshadowing in the game, In chapter 14 Tifa is talking to Leslie while glancing at cloud saying “we’ll meet again. It’s a symbol of reunion” foreshadowing the lifestream sequence where cloud says “yeah Tifa we finally meet again”, also in chapter 15 where Tifa and Barett are looking at the distance and they say that they are going to open a new bar which is foreshadowing Advent Children.

I'm sure FF7R will end with Cloti, while playing this game in part 1 I see Cloti more, I also believe SE doesn't dare to turn off Tifa because she is very iconic in the game world, Maybe Cloti appears more often because it affects the end of the game which will explain their relationship after AC

They were meant for each other, I don't know why the date mechanics in the original prioritize Aerith on the Golden Saucer Date, lucky for me, I made the right choices from the start and got the date with Tifa :D

Awh, a fairly older song but when put to use such as this it was very sweet. I'm such a Tifa fan so I flock to nearly everything on YT that has her in it. Cloud is just a very pretty distraction... lol kidding! Nah, Cloud is like this brother of another universe to me for some reason. I always see him as the moody younger male version of myself whereas Zack was always the one hyped up on sugar and wants to GO GO GO!! Bless them both, actually bless all of them. I think and feel it's kinda reverse actually, especially after reading remake's ultimania where Nojima explained how Cloud feels with Tifa and talks to her
i think it really depends on the person, i felt at the start Tifa was pushed, and Cloud seemed more annoyed with Aerith when they met again in the church. Then for a while it felt Aerith was pushed. Then back to Tifa and vice versa, but in the original they wanted it to feel like a love triangle, and in my opinion i feel they better captured this ^^

If the next parts of the remake will be the other way around, Cloud’s nit just gonna be Guilty, but it’ll be the End of it all! The whole FF7World😱 & people will now realize Tifa’s importance.. A very significant character to the plot.

Tifa - Does die, can’t repair Clouds mind, therefore he remains a puppet.
