I’ve been working on this edit off and on for over a year, and this week I decided to power through and finish it. Granted, it took a lot of night hours and lots of burns on my hands from editing on my overheated computer, but I’m very proud of the final product and I hope you all enjoy it!

The cut to Hero being the scene of Cloud lowering Aerith into the water, and the Aerith's line about death followed by all the people Cloud loses. Damn. This is good. Thank god the RUclips algorithm brought me here.
You summarized Cloud's story in three beautiful minutes!! Phenomenal editing! I wish I had more words for this, but one thing I certainly have for it is love!!

Wow I just got chills... Perfectly condensed portrayal of Cloud's character! You matched the scenes with the dialogue so well, and I especially loved the decision to open and close the vid with Cloud trying to get his breathing under control while being so unstable. Remake pt.2 can't come soon enough :D
This deserves way more views and you deserve way more subscribers!! Seriously, this is a masterpiece! The coloring, the transisitions, the storytelling are all spot on! Cloud Strife truly is a beautifully written character. He is more than a SOLDIER, he's a hero. I love this so much! I both am speechless and have so much to say, this was really just.. wow 💘

i've gotten obsessed recently and played the entire ff7 compilation in the span of like 2 months and i keep coming back to watch this video every couple days cause it's SO GOOD................ you captured him so well........... cloud strife my absolute beloved
Ok, I have several things to say.
One: I’m crying, holy shit that made me emotional, amazing job!
Two: the transitions are amazing, both the voice lines and the scenes. I especially love the Hojo voice line paired with the Cloud lab flashbacks.
Three: you matched the scenes to the music PERFECTLY. Like wow…
Four: 1:20 Scared me so much haha, what a jump scare :)
Overall: Brilliant, amazing, divine👌🏼

This is beautiful. I've stared at this for the last six hours. This is such a masterpiece, i dont think i can say anything that hasn't been echoed sentiments by other comments, only agree and yell into the ether that you are one amazing video composer, like the dedication to this, the time this must've taken, the crispness, the transitions, the flow of the scenes, the analysis of him alone you did is a thing of amazement but the way you put it all together and the time and effort it took, like oh my goodness, this is just stunning in any and all respects. I keep coming back just to get chills all over again.

I'm so astonished, this is a work of art! The editing, the cuts, the music. It's perfect for me. I am a fan of FFVII and especially Cloud Strife for 14 years. I know everything about him, and you captured his emotions and broken personality so well in these short 3 minutes. It took you a whole year to edit this, this is so incredible! I wish more people can see your video and acknowledge the hard work behind it.
