  • There is some amazing street art throughout the city of Stavanger in Norway. Join me there, as I take a tour around the streets, capturing some shots of these incredible murals. I also include some people and other street photography elements in some of the shots.

Nice bit of street art. Great to see parts of a town that normally people wouldn’t go to or see. That ship looked amazing.

Yeah, definitely gets you off the beaten track Paul - took quite a bit of googling but was well worth it. Cheers for watching. 😊

Nice photos and thanks for taking us along on your cruise. I hope you had a good time. My next cruise will be to Alaska and this time I’ll do some street photography. 😊

Nice coverage of all the public art, Robert. The image at 01:29 is a banger and the Graphic Designer in me loves the Thorfin image at 05:53 but they were all good and Stavanger looks a great place to visit. I do like doing this type of video when travelling, there is always some interesting public art or sculpture to see and photograph.

Cheers Andrew. It's a pretty cool place. I think this year, the NuArt festival is on in Aberdeen - some great street art up there too. Thanks for watching. 😊

Knowing very little about this part of the world prior to this video, I can now confirm that I want to go!! Looked amazing mate, great job sharing the artists names throughout too.

Yeah, there are some great towns and cities throughout the Fjords. Next time I think we'll be driving though. The cruise was great, but doesn't really give you the freedom to capture landscape photography during golden hours. On the flip side though, it does open up opportunities to do stuff like this, which was fun. Thanks for watching mate. 😊

Great video Robert, excellent street art some of the captures were beautiful. Looked like a very good area for a variation of street art and nicely presented, are you using 24mm/200mm lens because that looks really good. 🐕👍

Thanks John, appreciate the view, as always. Yeah, all with the 24-200 - it's a great lens considering its size and the focal range.

Loved the street art Robert ! Helen Bur and Smug were my two favourite artists - I’ve been commissioned to create a letterbox print of street art and have e some locations in mind in Manchester but looks like a need a trip here 🤣 Hope you get the ZV1 fixed - mine fell over on the tripod on the dunes and luckily £60 was all it cost to remove all the grains and fix the twitch on the lens. All the best and look forward to the East Coast meet 👍🏻

Nice one Andrew. Yeah, Stavanger is definitely really good but the NuArt festival is on in Aberdeen this June, so that might be a bit closer (although only a bit!). I've replaced the ZV-1 with a Nikon Z30 now. Might see if I can get it fixed to sell though. Where did you get yours fixed?

Great stuff Robert. We are sailing to Stavanger in July and I was hoping to get some street art photos myself. How long roughly did it take you to walk around and get these shots. We might be short on time before the ship leaves so we want to try to cram as much in as possible.

Thanks Nigel. None of the locations were more than 40mins walk from the ship, but walking between all of them took us the best part of the day - probably 4hrs. I imagine you could do it in 2-3 if you're not making a RUclips video along the way though! 😄 You can also avoid the ones that are furthest away and although those are some of the best ones, it would save a lot of time.
