REPLACE THE FLYWHEEL I HAD THE SAME ISSUE! the dual mass flywheel snapped in half and I had to replace it myself
Believe me all the issues are the modules not being reset to relearn the differences in hardware replacement from engine through differential. You can fix all this with forscan resetting the pcm module adaptations and learning also ABS relearn. It will do it with anything you change however this also alleviates how loud it got compared to the first mods. I went through a whole year of these issues and now back to normal 🤘🏻I don’t know why ford won’t do these things but hey its good to know its all the tech that F’s everything up as far as driveability and performance.
I guess I'm just not a fan of the incredibly raspy mufflers. BTW, I am a big H-pipe fan, sounds great with Flowmaster or Magnaflow resonators (not mufflers)

Would this be good with a completely stock exhaust just to add the deep I’m looking to buy a new car and like the deep tones but want a little more volume as well
Yes, this will work perfectly with a stock exhaust and will provide a deeper tone while allowing better flow and more volume by removing the factory resonator.

I just ordered a Roush Supercharged 2020 GT. Glad I got the Extremes with the Corsa X pipe. Sounds much more aggressive.
I have the Corsa Extreme on my 2018 mustang GT too and I feel with the double helix X pipe the car exhaust Sounds More Open and Aggressive too on wide open throttle, I had the AWE Touring w/ H pipe on this same car for 3 years and Loved the Deeper tone but it just Wasnt Loud enough for me so I Switched over to Corsa and problem solved !!! :)

HH is just a HAIR deeper than a single H.
If you don’t have one at all, grab the HH, but not worth switching if you’ve already got an H pipe.

@@youngrios x-pipes have been shown to offer 2-3 hp over the curve in past studies. Realistically which ever sounds better to you is what you should go with.
As far as double vs single, I haven’t seen anyone test it, but I’d assume it’s relatively similar results.

Was in the Lund tune, I had it removed recently.
What conversion harness did you use for your trans? I also have the digital dash with a tr6060 and now the rpm doesn't display.
I’m not sure if the same harness will work but mine is a Bowler Trans harness.

Thinking of going Corsa double H Pipe with stock active exhaust, thoughts? Is it even possible to run this setup on stock active exhaust or do I have to get the corsa axleback as well?
You can run it! You’ll just need a set of reducers because the corsa is a full 3” pipe.
What size reducers would you recommend

No change at all, just a change in the exhaust note.

Ran twins on my 2013, they are a BLAST, also much more in-depth installation and on the 18+ trickier installation due to the composite oil change.
I’ll be putting a whipple on here from Team Lethal when the time comes!

Double H pipe and double x pipe are corsa’s signature pretty much. They claim it helps to reduce drone and make the exhaust tone less obnoxious and make the sound perfect. I can’t verify this as I haven’t seen a corsa exhaust in person, but that’s what I hear

Car was tuned by Lund and that happened.
No issue, had it tuned out shortly after this video, was never really given a reason as to why it sounded that way.
Did ford pay for the tremec? Also how does it feel compared to the mt82? Sorry if you've already answered all that, just curious. I have a 2020 in magnetic with the manual, so you have excellent taste sir haha but seriously nice ride dude. Definitely some inspiration for me.

Ford should have used the tr6060 in the first place. It's a proven performer in the viper, hellcats and GM's.
I have the same magnetic color gt. Love it. I was debating X vrS H pipe. Now I know. H+ sounds best. X supposedly gets slightly better flow. H it is.
There is very minimal performance difference if any dont buy it based on performance h flows fine and sounds way better.

The x pipe quiet mode sounded the loudest. Weird. Those headers really make both exhaust systems sound very loose metal sounding
Thats because he got on the gas and the car is programmed to open the exhaust valves in quiet mode if your on the throttle and there's load on it, aka driving

Catless Texas Speed Headers.
Alot of work, X pipes will normally hit the higher notes more than the H would but the Yotes are so naturally raspy and metallic sounding regardless of muffler.. just has too much ball bearings in a metal can sound. Plus the skipping sound on the rev down would drive me nuts
The decel issue was fixed.
Was a tune problem relating to the Tremec T-56 swap.

Performance gains on X outweigh H on all accounts.
It’s 2-3 whp over the curve, you won’t really notice a difference, but it is there if you’re all about max efficiency and going all out NA build.
H purely sounds better to some people.

@@LsEater really. Well I currently have a Flowmaster Outlaw setup with the scavenger x pipe. But the Drone is insane on the highway, it's like my eardrum wants to burst but it sounds so good too. I need a little quieter setup so do you think the H pipe would help with that or I need a different all around set up and get rid of the Flowmaster Outlaws?
@@Dee--Jay the outlaws themselves are VERY indicative of drone unfortunately, an H pipe may help a little bit with calming it down, but those mufflers themselves (or lack there of haha), will always produce some drone.

It was a side effect of the tune I had on the car.
It’s been fixed now, but tuner was unable to provide reasoning behind it happening.
Personally it sounded like fuel cut to me.

The sound on decel? That’s in the Tune, it’s fuel cut. You can have it tuned out if you want.

Just changes the amount of fuel at given times during decel, causes that interesting noise you hear, the “laughing” as a few have said.

Catless tends to be pretty raspy, couple an x pipe with that and it’s a rasp party haha.
1. Its a coyote they're raspy
2. It has longtubes, no cats and a super loud exhaust setup (corsa extremes).
3. X pipe makes this even worse thank God he went with an hpipe lol.
I'm old school... went directly to "H" pipe..Sounds like a V-8 should. That's all I needed to hear. "X" pipes are for VooDoo engines! .... just my opinion.

X sounded better to me. The raspiness of the sound is awesome. H-Pipe was deeper but didn’t like it.
That’s why it’s great we have options. I agree with you but I know a lot of people like the deeper sounding h pipe more. Just personal preference

Normally I wouldn't ask, but since double or even triple X and double h pipes are a thing. What would an X followed by an h pipe or vice versa, sound like lol.
Borla makes a “crossfire” mid pipe, sounds almost identical to their X pipe.
I'm still on the fence, but honestly really like the x pipe sound honestly. The double x is a little too much, but I like the single x. Might be what i get for my S650. These new mustangs are not muscle cars imo, they are sports cars.

I never liked the deep tones of the H-pipe. Sounds too much like a diesel truck than a classic muscle car. Given the modern GT is more sport than muscle the X pipe fits its more modern profile much better. HOWEVER the double X pipe here is just too raspy and very ricer like, and destroys the sound imho. In order my preference is X-pipe > double H pipe > H pipe > double X pipe. The H-pipe here does a good job of providing that exotic rasp while keeping the deeper tones of a V8.
