I am thankful that the rest of the tour was not cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.. I Thank Floor for her part in stepping in so that I have been fortunate to have been witness to the current ``Nightwish`` tour! I paid to see Nightwish with Anette.. things changed.. I respect and still like ``Nightwish``.. there is no hate here.
I would very much like to know of Anette future projects...
I paid to see Nightwish. I got to see Nightwish. Furthermore, I got to see them with a singer I've loved for years and never got to see live in her old band. So, all in all, worked out well for me. :D

She's amazing, I saw her live in concert and she totally rocks.

Floor has a very malleable voice, with some practice she can do both, Anette and Tarja Songs with an excelent level. And don't forget that audio of these live videos is not good enough to send a final opinion.

Man. I did not like AF just because I was a teenage in that era. I liked it because I liked it. I like metal bands with clasically trained singers. I don't care about conspiracies, about who wants to sound like what, or who feels threatened by whom. I like female voices like Floor (AF), Tarja (you know who she is), Ana (Magica), Manuela Kraller (Xandria), and I love good music, hard instruments and a good voice together. Ok? Now THAT's why I'm excited at NW + Floor.
Keep in mind at the time of this concert it was her third show with Nightwish.. so that would be about a week to learn this many songs to perform a great show. Impressive to say the least. I was there. When i learned that Annette had left i thought i would not have been able to see Nightwish live. If Floor stays with Nightwish then it is songs to her melody lines.. and I'm sure she will colaborate with lyrics and "story line" (if story applies). Nightwish fan.. Tarja fan.. Sarah Brightman fan.

Pff I'm also sick and tired of all these "New Era NW Fans"... most of them are very agressive with no reason, had only listened to NW with Anette and have no idea how the real Nightwish sounds like, and what exactly made them famous.
Dear guys, what made NW famous was ROCK MUSIC combined with POWERFUL CLASSICALLY TRAINED VOICE. Now please excuse us nostalgics while we enjoy the real sound of Nightwish, with a singer that is as good as the first one. Many thanks for understanding.
Well she actually is doing a cover if you think about it.. this song was written for Anette's voice.. she does great with "old style" songs
don't discuss with people like that guy. i'm sure they've known nightwish for a few years only. that's why they don't truly appreciate nightwish music and don't understand why a lot of fans dislike anette. having a classical soprano replaced by a chipmunk is not easy to take!

well thats possible that she is nervous/shy or something! but she gets welcomed by the fans ,so this will go away pretty fast
"то ли у неё хронически слуха нет, то ли она не удосужилась выучить песни" это было одно из первых её выступлений с Nightwish и она к тому моменту не успела выучить репертуар. Просто потому что ваша обожаемая Анетт умудрилась кинуть группу в самом разгаре тура.
И да, Флор здесь почти не слышно, и скорее это косяк звукоря, так как вокалистка очень сильная, и также важно, что в отличие от Анетт и Тарьи действительно своя в металле, а не очередная поп певица, которую пригласили в рок группу.

yep, because it's you, or any fan (or large group of fans), that decides what nightwish "should" sound like...there's only one person who makes that decision and he is behind the keyboard. How he says it should be is how it should be, why don't people understand that?
Except for the fact Floor Jansen is not "any singer". She is one of the best voices in metal.

Почему говорю насчет звукорежиссера, так это потому что меня сильно удивило то, что Флор так плохо слышно. Это после всех тех её выступлений, что я видела раньше для меня показалось странно. На концертах ReVamp и After Forever она звучала намного лучше. Где-то было видео её без всяких микрофонов и там звучит очень даже хорошо.

Floor is very talented and has perfect voice, but I wish to hear more Tarja's songs. I'm sure, they suit her much better.
i have to admit...i HATED floor when i first had her sing nightwish songs...but now? i thnk she is pretty good ( she does get some notes wrong etc.) but i thnink with practice im glad to be seeing her live :D
Полностью с Вами согласна.Такое ощущение,что чистит картошку на кухне и что-то там себе мычит.И не могу понять,то ли у неё хронически слуха нет, то ли она не удосужилась выучить песни.Жаль что Анетт ушла.Чтобы про неё не говорили,а она была работяжка и видно очень ответственная.И у каждой песни в её исполнении был характер и музыка.Изобразить ноты все могут,а исполнить песню, простите,даже не каждый ПЕВЕЦ может.Она умела исполнить песню,пусть даже и не имела таких шикарных вокальных данных.
Возможно.Не буду с Вами спорить по -поводу того что в металле она действительно знает своё дело.А то что Тарья и Анетт далеки в этом-это точно.Но про звукорежиссёра можете мне не говорить.Я сама им работала немного.Так что тут проблема не в нём..Слышно, что у неё плохая подача и зажим голоса...даже на последних записях.Но таки она работает над собой и это радует.И если так дальше пойдёт,то наверное за всё историю Найтов-это была бы их лучшая вокалистка
Dear, Floor is not ANY singer. She is one of the best voices in metal. Check her out. Ever heard of After Forever? :)
By the way, I'm a fan of Nightwish since the year 2000, I don't hate Anette and I'm 26. (this info given in order to avoid questions like "how old are you?", "when did you start listening to Nightwish?", and labels like "Anette hater".

Well her voice is not strong in that low register since her voice is high but i think she's a good vocalist; for me is not ok for Imaginaerum's songs, however, we shall wait a little. She's not my favourite singer yet she's good -her job with Revapm and AF is great-... gonna give a chance, i didn't feel comfortable with Anette in the beginning, took me time, so i'll have to wait a little more.
Singers are not lego pieces that can be interchanged. Annette did her best and she proved to be a great singer after all. Now Floor, being a great singer herself, is having problems with these NW songs. Tuomas or whoever decides must be much more careful and respectful for us, whom pay for a professional show. Loyalty is not granted.

да, флор отличная вокалистка, ура, найтвиш звучит как в "старые добрые времена"..... да ничего подобного!! поёт так, что её совсем не слышно, и не надо делать тут скидку, что мол запись плохая, анетт и на жутких съёмках было хорошо слышно, и пела она отлично и песни, которые для неё написаны были, и те, что были до неё написаны.

i think she sounds good with the old songs for Tarja.. but the songs for Anette is not that good in my opinion.. but i want floor with Nightwish, way more than Anette.. sorry Anette but u belong in another band not in Nightwish.. wish u all the best :)
