Just want to say thanks. While homeless, I came across this video and it saved my life. I was able to construct a camp similar to this and ride out a month of wind and rain inside of it. Your video literally saved a persons life dude! I am not homeless anymore but if I had not seen this video... not sure if I would have survived that winter
Hey Don! I have also been homeless in the winter in upstate N.Y. and it's a fact that videos and knowledge of this sort can save lives in emergencies. Hell Yeah.

This is what I think of when someone calls themselves ''bushcraft''. No electricity, no battery power tools, no expensive bedding or tents. Just a man, his dog and survival talent. Best bushcraft channel on RUclips.
@catecalvertarriola3986 Those trees, growing in groups like that, will eventually choke the larger, healthier trees out. He's actually doing that forest a favor by clearing out the weaker and/or dead "weed" trees. That gives seedlings the chance to grow without resource competition.

I love this. It shows how different women think to men. All male comments are about the creativity and the amazing shelter and you think only about the dog. You do realize the dog is not what the video was about right? Appreciate the freedom and go camping yourself instead of getting your nails done.

It was a terrible shelter. It was open on one end, thereby losing heat. He had to spend all day cutting firewood and feeding his furnace because he compensating for the heat he was losing.
