He's gladly cooperated to form the coalition looking forward. Before the next general election, the changes in south Africa would have significantly changed for better.
“SA needs a pivot into a direction of a more equal society” ??? I would say we should focus on being a country with a stronger economic focus, a not constantly failing electricity grid and a more attractive outlook for foreign investment. It’s so annoying to me this constant focus still on the A word, it’s literally just a tool used by politicians and not something most South Africans think about on a daily basis as these news stories would make people believe.
Bless SA ❤ Their democracy was so hard won. I realise they have problems, but considering all the apartheid apologists were saying the whole country will be ablaze without it.. 🤷♀️ Coupled with that they had a 70% voter turn-out! What's the UK's? 50%? Less on July 4th i recon.. I'd say their population is very invested in their democratic process. Europe could learn something..
They were right the country has been ablaze, corruption everywhere, no electricity, high poverty, deteriorating infrastructure, dirty streets, high unemployment rate. Our trains are literally gone and transport is monopolistic. Now with DA in government hopefully there will be accountability and change.
I think this was the best outcome for the country - I think the DA representatives will help bring about effective competent governance and help improve the domestic situation. Hopefully now the energy grid, education and local economy will improve and people will begin living more comfortably.
I Ramaposa a prosperous a good governance may God lead and guide him during his five years of reigning South Africa. Our people black like us they have attendance of hatrage, instead of cooperating, we end up hate each other. Put sanction on each other. Instead of working together.
That was Jacob Zuma…….and I think Thabo Mbeki recommended via his advisors that you should eat garlic and potatoes to fight HIV……….then again…..back in Great Britain….and a friend of mines dad died of the infected blood scandal…he died from AIDS…..so the NHS knowingly infected its own populace…..what a world we live in…..
Now come on guys... exactly 40 years that apartheid, or aparthaaid (with the preffered pronounciation) is finished, still complaing about 'aparthaaid'?
The best quality of life is when people have a bit of both. Look at Scandinavia. Free market and capitalism but also great tax-funded healthcare, welfare, education, and plenty of rights to protect the people and workers. That’s what South Africa should aspire for. Not extremists who are obsessed with the past and want to bring their own justice at any cost, even if it means ruining entire industrial sectors in the country, and no Chinese-style authoritarianism.
@@threesixnine369six, well said. Ideology on its own won't bring jobs that do not exist or put bread on everyone's table if there are no jobs and infrastructures are falling apart. Allow the business community to do their part and also protect workers and poor people with good social laws. Greetings beautiful South Africa.
What did South Africans use to light their homes before candles....?
Electricity🤨

Not so
Isn't Ramaphosa still your president?
How a party of load shedding still gets in is insane
ANC isn't a party, it's a crime syndicate.
Can't understand why it's a coalition if ANC lost
@@pose-x They are still the largest party in parliament, they just don't have a majority of seats.

I so wish our president is the former judge Mogoeng Mogoeng. They can't bribe him.
He doesn't take nonsense
If we all v0ted for 0HM, we could have chosen Mogeng now.
Big respect
Lol stop blaming apartheid
If you make the same mistakes you're bound to repeat them 💯
They can’t help themselves😂 Loving the leftie tears at having whites in government again🤣🤣🤣
Best wishes 😍
I am hoping that this works, as a former resident of that beautiful country, I'd hate to see it go the way of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 🤞
If Cyril Ramaphosa is president once more
He is 😊

SA had a 58.6% voter turn out. You can check in the iec's website voter dashboard for clarity about the stats.

Our voter turnout was the worst we've ever seen and only like 40% of eligible voters even registered to begin
ANC coalition with DA gives Animal Farm vibes
