Next time you need to seal a pipe going through a wall or other situation like that, get some 5200 Marine Adhesive Sealant made by 3M. It is far superior to any caulk/silicone/sealant that I've come across in 30+ yrs of doing all sorts of home repairs and construction. 9 yrs on my boat which is exposed to the elements 24/7 and it still hasn't leaked a drop and remains semi pliable, and it's below the water line.
Looks great!!! It's a shame when you have a contractor that makes an expensive project even more agrivating .... but now their part is done and you have an amazing shop.
Awesome job, thanks for sharing. These lights are just what I'm looking for, glad your shop is finally coming together for you. Stay safe and God bless
I put my outdoor shop light just above the big door, big mistake, i cant see very good backing a trailer inside, i think i will raise it up and try to cover the hole in the siding somehow
@@chadsimmons6347 that’s good to Know. I was actually wanting to put the one on the back side above the door but couldn’t get my ladder over the jack shaft on the garage door.
Dude your shop is so badass and I'm a little jealous not gonna lie🤤😎🔥 I imagine I could fit a couple of rocks in that rock shop let me tell ya what😄 It's been really cool to see it built from the ground up.🥳💪🔥🔥🔥
I watched this video when you first published it and several times since. I was looking for outdoor lights for my new shop and these Hyperlights are awesome. I got two of the 100w streetlights like yours and 3 of their 50w wall lights for the bays under the lean to. I haven’t got the service cable connected yet but I can’t wait to see them working. The lights themselves are top quality. Thanks for showing them. Btw I made a similar mount for the street lights. Thanks for that idea too!
Yes you're right Jason, these Hyperlites are indeed, super lights, now that you have them installed. They [provide good and efficient lighting for your front and year areas. In my experience, L.E.D. lighting is more than half the cost of the formerly common high pressure sodium ( old style street lights ) and certainly lower operating cost than the old halogen lights. Nice job!
@@NorthwestSawyer Yes too, I bought some of the older but " something NEW in fluorescent tubes, they light up in cold areas" that came to the market a few years ago,.... I soon discovered that they are not much better then the old style,..they still flicker when the temperature is at or below freezing. L.E.D. lighting is the way to go!
Like a dumb ass I was looking at the light when it came on,now I have a little blue dot when I close my eyes, did exactly as my mom told me not to do lol, that's some serious lighting, Nice ✌️ Napa California
I have some nice solar landscape lights but during the winter months they don’t get a good enough charge to last more than an hour or two. For my shop I want to be able to count on them working when I need them.
They are some lights need plenty of light, nothing worse than having lights that are no better than a candle. These are brilliant literally lolol enjoy.
Great looking shop. I haven't seen your clips in a while. Although subscribed, unless I go looking, RUclips doesn't typically suggest. I'll be more proactive - enjoy your clips.
Yes, I am needing some outdoor lites, Will have to look at these. "Enquiring minds want to know", what failed on the inspection? How can a pole barn fail?
Solar ones have 2 or three lighting level lower level on at night but with motion sensor that turns on bright kind of a warning that someone or Animal moving around shop or in the yard depending where light located
How did you wire it to the building? I installed one not too long ago using 12/2 romex to a 3 prong male ac plug and plugged it to an indoor gfci outlet, but it keeps tripping.
Having the area lit up like that is awesome. Are you going to install some other more subtle lights by the entry doors? I like the low intensity LED right by the door, just enough to not bang my shin on the trailer hitch! Aww, who am I kidding? I do that in broad daylight!
Ha! Yes. We’ve all done that at least ten times😂. I plan on adding a roof structure over the entry door so a smaller “porch” type light will be needed. It’s been a couple weeks now since I installed the big lights and you’re right. It’s awesome to have the entire area lit up.

Looks so awesome. Thanks for the vid I'm save this one for the shop I'm having built.
Those look great, Jason. There's never too much light. Those mounting brackets were pure genius. Best wishes.

Thank you, Bill! Sometimes simple is the way to go.

Thank you! I’m really impressed by how large an area they light up.
Wow that's one hell of a shop!!! And now you can see... great job!!
Thank you! I’m very happy with these lights. It’s like daylight.
Hi Jason,
That is a sweet install and those lights provide a huge amount of illumination. You and the family stay safe.
Thank you, Don!
Good quality light and substantially fitted. Good job Sir
Thank you, Steve!
Those lights are amazing…..and the build quality is superb….I’m pleased everything is coming together for you Jason….👍🇬🇧
Thank you, Chris! I hope you’re making through that storm okay over there!
Great lights, good job fitting them on your part
Thank you! I’m very happy with them.
You only need about 4 more of those lights, and you could get a suntan at night. It looks good.
Cool. Really lights up where you want it. Good job.
Thank you, Rick. I’m very impressed with how much light coverage they give.
Well thought out lights. And LEDs.
They really work well!
Good to see all the progress. Congratulations. Keep up the good videos. Look forward to them.
Thank you, Howard!
That are some extremely nice and well made lights, they will last a lifetime!
Thank you! They should make it to the 5 year warranty at least😉

Thanks, Nick! I’ve been jonesing to start finishing the inside.
Looking fantastic! I liked the homemade bracket, that was a very neat and secure solution.
Thank you! I really spent a lot of time overthinking it. It turned out simple was the way to go.
Thats a slick install. Some one some where will be using 2" screws to mount their version of your bracket.
Thank you! It’s a pretty simple design. I’m sure anyone would come up with something similar to work for their situation. 👍👍
Those are the business! Nice!
Thank you! I was just out working under their light😎
Really well made and engineered light system NWS!
Thank you! Simplicity for the win!
You can work all night now. awesome!!

Glad the shop is done n your finished with the idiots.what a pain in the ss.some nice lights dude.good to see ya.
nice , i like the bracket too
Thank you!
Nice really lights it up !
They really do! The whole area. I’m very happy with them.
Think I would prefer the ones that are solar powered but also see advantage of couple hard wired in for those extended cloudy days for sure

Great job love the home made brackets .Hope the child labourers not present today get their blanket back it might get cold tonight . :-)
Thank you, Paul. If they keep working they can’t get cold😬

Well, shoot! Thanks for looking me up.
Looking good .
You should put a motion detector on the back side that will let you know when any one is back there at night.
I wouldn’t see it come on from my house. Once I get better internet I’ll install cameras.
How cool would it be if there were standardized diodes that you could replace on any fixture, kind of like a light bulb?
cool
Yes, I am needing some outdoor lites, Will have to look at these. "Enquiring minds want to know", what failed on the inspection? How can a pole barn fail?
That’s a great question. They didn’t have blocking in the trusses that is required in 99.9 % of the buildings.

👍👍👍👍👍
Are you able to use the Photo sensor and a switch together?
You wouldn’t be able to override the sensor with a switch except to turn the light off.
@@NorthwestSawyer that was what I was looking for, being able to turn off when needed. Thank you! Great video
@@westtexasprepper thank you!
Could you also wire the photocell on a switch to be able to turn the automatic lighting off if you wanted to?
Absolutely. The switch would override the photocell but you would only be able
To turn it on if it was dark enough for the photocell to activate
