Love your channel. My only concern would be bucket leaching chemicals from the plastic into the food as it gets hot . Thats some pretty toxic stuff…but hell, as a kid i would cast a shrimp net with the lead between my teeth so what do i know.Tight lines!
It’s all food grade materials. One of my best friends knows the guy that came up with the idea. We’ve got 2 of em that we take to the beach every year to boil crabs that we catch in the surf. Makes it so easy to haul, cook, and aids in a super easy clean up.
When you put your shrimp in throw in some frozen okra. Or if you are doing crabs, put the frozen okra or steam in bag veggies while you are doing your after boil soak. Helps to cool the water and cooks the veggies at the same time. I also use frozen water bottles to cool the crab boil and get the juice into the crabs. To answer someone above you should be able to do about a dozen medium crabs in the bucket.
Hey awesome channel, question do you have any tips for finding fluke around the marsh? Do you just fish close to them and drift? Anything I should look for on how to find them? Thanks
Me and the girlfriend absolutely love watching your videos. For some reason we often laugh as the things you say are funny. Yesterday we went fishing and I was catching some trout undersized. I kept saying go get bigger and bye-bye! I would love to see you on the water sometime and fish beside you. Come to St Marks, Florida and fish some of these creeks within 3 miles of the lighthouse and show us how it is done. Semper FI!
Enjoy your channel Brother, ya sold me on the bucket!! Would be good to use camping at a lake or something, be fishing while you’re waiting on the water to boil! Waiting on another odd bait video, those are my favorites!!
Hey brother how are you? That is awesome man you have 2 kids man. I knew about 1 of them. I have 6 boys , 7 year old Granddaughter & a Grandson who is 1 years & 11 months old. Yes i would get me one to use at our cook out doing the summer time. I also would ad some Chunks of chicken and steak to this. I think it would be awesome to eat. Tell your wife that I said Happy Mothers day to her & i hope she enjoys her special day the lord has blessed her with. Our day is coming next month brother. I told my family that I wanted to go kayak camping for Father's day. We will see . Take it easy brother & be safe out there on the water man.
I thought that bucket was kinda dumb at first but if you knew where you were going had power , or plug it in the truck , the Bucket plus a small cooler full of ready ingredients would make a nice meal transported compactly .
Never did it that way... My typical boil... Start with sausage, butter and old bay in a big pot.. then when sausage is browned, add onions, potatoes and water... when it turns to rolling boil add corn... when it boils again add shrimp and crab , turn off heat, in just a minute. DONE... Dunno about that bucket. Seems to take a LONG time to get going. and it's not that big if you do it my way.. because everything needs to fit. I suppose it can?
I would consider getting one, but most the time im boiling for a bunch of people and i have a huge stainless pot i use, and i never thought about putting brussel sprouts in going to have to give a try next boil i do, i love them cooked just about any way
I love roasted or pan fried Brussels sprouts... never thought of having them in a boil. May have try that. Heck, I would probably like some baby spinach in that boil.
Sure I might invest in one I live over here in Jacksonville Florida and Duval county I haven't never seen any of them buckets over here before I'm sure you probably can order them online

Great video!! We take a dozen or 2 eggs,,, while the water is boiling, crack them on the side, and put them in. They soak up the seasoning well!!
Looks good! Happy Mother’s Day Mrs. Salt!
Thank you!!
I have had 1 for about a year now and I love the swamp bucket
It looks good amd im a plumber with a lot of extra heating elements left over this gave me plenty of ideas thanks!

Dude that’s awesome lol I definitely need to get down that way again!
Got one on Friday and boiled crab on Sunday. Works great. Don't use extension cord and it boils faster. Cut up potatoes so they cook faster.
I’ll have to unhook the extension cord, thanks!
OMG!!! I’m so jealous! Looks delicious 😋

Yeah, don't worry about microplastics because 90% of our foods today are shipped stored and processed using plastic.
I hope they use “food grade” plastics lol seemed fine to me lol
Cauliflower is surprisingly good.
🙌
I love roasted or pan fried Brussels sprouts... never thought of having them in a boil. May have try that. Heck, I would probably like some baby spinach in that boil.
🙌 man Brussels sprouts are jam up in a boil! Can’t believe I forgot them lol
Add water first and bring to boil in about 25 minutes. Then add veggies and sausage etc.
Sure I might invest in one I live over here in Jacksonville Florida and Duval county I haven't never seen any of them buckets over here before I'm sure you probably can order them online
Yeah they should be available online
Love clams in a boil
🙌
Try boiling ravioli with your boils. 👍
Dude that sounds awesome!!
I USE CARROTS, MUSHROOMS, WEINIES, BROCCOLI, CALIFLOUR, BRUSSEL SPROUTS, FRESH POLE BEANS, ETC!
Very nice!!
Awesome😊
🙌
Looked good
👍👍👍👍👍great video.
Thanks brother!
Can you do blue crab in the swamp bucket
Definitely!
You should've added the asparagus last. Nothing worse than overcooked, brown, slimy asparagus.
It tasted pretty good to me lol
@southernsalt well, that's all that matters.
Boiled eggs
what’s that little helicopter on your table
Keeps the flies away
Try carrots, you won’t regret it
Yes sir that would be good!!
Great video as always but I'm old school and wouldn't buy the bucket.
Don’t blame you there!!
