Do you have a technique to use Lucas mill to make ship lap? I have a 10-30...I have some ideas, just wondering if you come up with something..not alot on the subject for lucas mills on ytube?
Good technique for maximizing your quarter sawn lumber. You could also use some short stickers to hold the bottom board off the surface of the log. Might work a little better than sawdust and save you the extra step of running the blade back horizontally.
I assume you are referring to the cut at 4:40. The vertical cut did not go all the way through the bottom board, so I swung the blade to horizontal and completed the cut.

That's what I do, makes shore there square.
