Excellent review. These Low Riders really are excellent machines. I have a '23 black regular LR and I've been riding Japanese 4 bangers and still do. Dig riding this one tho. cr483 cam and tbr pipe and it's a blast.

You paint a pretty picture, but when you buy this bike you need to spend $$$ to make it fit you. First for me, 5’11”. I had to move the bars back 3” , then the 117 ci should have more power so I installed a S&S 475 cam and cam chest. Then the exhaust, the stock exhaust is pathetic, sounds like a sewing machine. I put Bassani 2 into 1 ripper exhaust, more for the sound than hp. New grips and a hogworkz crash bar. Now it sounds great, looks great and is very comfortable for me. Lucky for me I have a shop and have done lots of this work before so I saved on the labour.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Sounds like you’ve made it exactly how you want it, which is awesome! The Bassani exhaust sounds like a solid upgrade definitely better than the stock one. In South Korea, though, it’s quite difficult to make those kinds of modifications. Most people here stick with the stock version because of restrictions, and doing upgrades yourself often voids the warranty, which lasts 2 to 3 years. So, customization like yours is rare here!
