- Peach Pit members Chris Vanderkooy and Neil Smith chatted with Records In My Life via Zoom, just a couple of days before their John Congleton (ST Vincent, The War On Drugs, Modest Mouse) produced full-length You And Your Friends came out. The guys talked about the inspiration behind album tracks "Brian's Movie" and "Thursday," some great stories. The guys are sitting patiently and waiting to hit the road, to tour behind the album, with most shows already sold out. If all things work out Peach Pit will play their next show on July 11th, in Vancouver, BC.

THATS why it sounds so beautiful on acid! I first heard that song on acid and it completely changed my life! 😩♥️

I love how at the start they're saying "no pills no powders we're good boys" but by the end are admitting to smoking weed and doing acid

Neils favorite song on the album is my favorite song as well. I somehow knew it was going to be “Brian’s Movie” before he said it. I love this band with all my heart 🤍
Man, these guys are so underrated. I'm super sad the tour is being deferred, but what can ya do in these Corona-y times? Well, it'll be even more special when they finally do play in my town. The suspense is killing me!
