Nice bin. If you have enough totes why not put the floor down and use full totes for the walls. I have seen nobody else doing that. As you unload the bin, the only thing left to pick up would be the floor. Great video. Have a great day.
Well that is a good idea and one I thought of as well. The problem is I only have a limited amount of totes, and can’t dedicate them to just sit. Once totes became popular around here people stopped giving them away and instead charge a ridiculous amount to buy them.
Also, keep in mind, the nice thing about pallets as the walls/side is the amount of air they let in. If you fill an IBC tote of wood, whether it's stacked or loose inside, it's basically going to act as more of a wind blocker and the core/center of the pile is going to struggle. I'm not convinced that bins will work tbh. The only reason they work for Chris is because of his location, wood will dry with ANY technique he uses. Just my thoughts anyways!
Suggestion to keep from developing blisters while using the post driver : let go of the handles on the down stroke.
Your hands will thank you.
Will try that thanks for the tip!
Use baling wire across the top every 4-5' to stabilize the sides.just a thought for consideration..
I may do that on the next one cause I haven’t come across any used t posts people want to get rid of lately
Thank you
👍
Bin should work out fine.
@@williamklein6649 I think so too

This is how I do my bins but I use the bucket of my tractor to drive the post down. 1 post per pallet will work just fine.
@@jasonwoods192 I might have to try using the bucket to drive them, thanks for the tip!
@@BeaverTownOutdoors even less chance of blisters.
Better with 2 people. One to hold t post and you on the tractor to push it down
Would you cover that? Whats the plan
I typically cover the tops of stacks with a tarp once we get to snow time. Planning on doing the same with the bins just need a bigger tarp
blah blah blah
