    Thanks for another really great video! I'm about to hire someone to help me clean shoes and I was hoping you would share with me how and how much you compensate your cleaner/s to help as a good reference for me to fairly compensate? Do you pay per pair? If so, how much as most shoes need a different level of attention. Paying hourly wouldn't really work well for me as this will be a work from home gig but I would still like to know your process if your doing hourly pay. Thanks again for all that you do for our community and I look forward to your response😊

      We don’t have a chart but there are plenty of charts on google 👊👊 Aways makes sense to get longer laces rather than shorter so they will fit more pairs. Doesn’t have to be perfect but you obviously don’t want them to small.

      @rnzynow  5 лет назад +2

      Dimonlight 101 it’s a judgement call. If it’s a loose string that you can clip and it won’t effect the integrity of the shoe you’re good. If it’s a loose string that will lead to the shoe falling apart pass on it.

    Kinda hate your live posts. Too much chitter-chatter" BUT, I Totally need your advice, and YES!!!- Info on HOW TO BUY shoes. Thanks for admitting you made mistakes in the beginning. I have a ton of shoes I will have to donate- but only paid a dollar each. I had not idea how to scrutinize used shoes. I second Jim Dewey: LOVE "Clean the profit into it." Some resellers just do straight flips- I've been told not to waste my time cleaning things (like the 1960's banana set "sting-ray-like" bikes I found and needed major chrome work.) I will stick out this "LIVE" series cause I know there will be great info, sometimes a lot, sometimes rid-bits. YES, I am taking notes.

      Kiley Lenstrom appreciate your point of view but couldn’t disagree with you more. Its not 1999 anymore. Everything we share has already been shared for free everywhere. Best part about the reselling game is we both can win. You can hide information among you and your reseller network and we can share everything we do with ours....and we both still have plenty of room to win. We’ve built our entire business on small marketplaces outside of Amazon and EBay to prove a point. We don’t use either of them. There is enough to go around and there is no way to win if you complain. The only way to succeed is to go find the wins. It’s real. Sending you our best from Maine on whatever adventure you’re on.

    • @kileylenstrom
      @kileylenstrom 4 года назад

      @@rnzynow Well aware it's '99 anymore. What a time to be alive, right?
      "Everything we share has already been shared for free everywhere." Oh, I'm well aware. As I said, the YT ad money and the recognition is STRONG.
      There being "plenty of room to win", is not about what I am concerned. I don't thrift -- so not a DIRECT concern, but you do realize the more people that get on YT and run their mouths about how much they make thrifting, the higher the thrift prices will CONTINUE to go, right? I understand there is a "cap" that stores will stop at, but margins will shrink, as they have been doing.
      And on the topic of "Everything we share has already been shared for free everywhere." and "...and there is no way to win if you complain." State's Place -- they ran their mouths on YT for years about how much they made on PM form thrifting, GW prices rose over those years, then they put on YT videos complaining about said prices.
      Thoughts?
