(not allowed to talk about the details for obvious reasons) and he is really into fpv, so I guess that is why neo has manual mode though it is really underpowered to do any flips and such. He personally told me the most he could do was a small split-s but it was fun to zoom around

Yeah honestly it's shocking that a DJI product built like that can break when a random amazon special "Nerf" target drone seemly can't... And that you just turn on and does exactly like yyou would expact a target drone to do from star wars or star trek.... All with out user input you do have a controller it came with in the box that you can order it to do things or even directly control it... But the first time I saw one was in a Nerf RUclipsrs video showing off the nerf eqvlant of an anti materal gun or a light cannon more like... And the gut at about ten feet kept hitting his shoiots the drone bearly fell out of the sky and only touch the floor a few times always flying back up to the perfect high you'd expact a target drine to be in that space... It also costs way less then $100 USD... Kinda outclasses the neo in every way but the FPOV mode and the accessible camre...
Your amount of dedication to FPV is insane, bro and your ideas are creative and original. If you are ever in South Eastern USA and wanna fly in some OG spots, hmu.

With the N3 you won't do anything just cruising on low speed. I have this combo and a Dronemask 2 and it sucks. Sport mode max 29 km/h. Even my old Spark was much faster with 50 km/h. But if you tape the bottom sensors down you have ATTI mode on...

You just gotta take corners slow and not pull out of dives fast. It’s a little annoying but you get used to it! So the replacement had a fee of $29 aud
Honestly, if you already have goggles 3 and controller 3, 200 dollars for this neo with care refresh is pretty descent. Still I can't wait for the 04 air unit lite ... maybe it's light enough to put on a 2S quad?

There's a guy miguel fpv that actually took the neo apart to take a look at it. He also already modified it by swapping out the motores to more powerful ones to be able to freestlye.
You can easily powerloop a small drone, now the neo is different its not meant for fpv freestyling or racing really. But you get your self a good 65mm whoop and you can send it all day!!!!!!

F'real... any normal tiny-whoop can fly better than this because this thing is loaded down with a brick of a battery and kinda weak motors on top of that.
I got a question, can you see if theres "sticks mode 4" available? 😅 I finally got enough practice in the sim, and was all ready to go try my dji fpv in acro, ...and thats how I discoverd theres no mode 4.. 😢😢😡😡😤😤🤬
You would look at a DJI neo and be like "uhh why would l buy this instead of a second hand mini gen 1 or gen 2 se if I am not attempting to do FPV--and it's not even good at FPV"
Depends on what you want to do. The minis are for straight cinema videos. The fpv are faster more dramatic shots. The fpv are honestly more fun to fly too

This drone is my first dji drone I got it last month
i mean i guess they optimize them for battery life and they dont need much power to be a flying tripod but damn it broke INSTANTLY

whoops used to have samilar power/weight ratio to the neo like 3 or 4 years back. Micros have come really far in a few years
