Why are they heading back to the capital? What do they demand this time now? Why is the government on a front footing and blocking Delhi?

Thank you for your helpful insights on the ongoing protest. Last time it lasted almost 5 months maybe this time it could last more or less. On a side note Agriculture sector’s contribution to the GDP of India has dipped significantly over the last decade.

By MSP rich farmers will become more rich .there is not much benefit for labour or who actually do farming .

Just remove all price payment. Remove all subsidy. Allow seed exports out of India without any restriction. Let farmers export where they want. Govt should not distort the price.
Am wondering why the swaminathan report was not implemented during the upa time if they think it was such a great thing ? Also let them implement it in the Congress ruled states!
They know very well these are unreasonable demands but it's all politics
If it was unreasonable, then is it just a political stunt by Union government to confer Bharat Ratna to MS Swaminathan. Every time common people protest, either you name them terrorist or congress agenda- and never address the issue.
Because Swaminathan formula is disastrous.
You can't give 50% guaranteed profit over cost of production.
Because then, they will deliberately increase cost of production, to get more guaranteed money.
There will be no incentive to improve agriculture, and we will go back to inefficient stone age.
Farmers protest way to far, the first step to reach to Delhi in itself is a big challenge and another Farmer protest in Europe, Comparison? Are we really a democratic country?
So if someone demands to push India into recession should be entertained, last time these people had created a dangerous environment, and their demands are unreasonable, if the government gives in then we are not voting them back
@@Yourking645 Recession? What are you talking about? Demands as per the law? Last, this government passed 3 rules, stood out completely illegal. Farmers are not dangerous, it is because of them we get meals. Do you really wish to get food prices inflated by Adani? Then, we better stop our discussion here because I cannot travel with fools. I don't trust Indian politicians. Stick to our fundamentals based on our Constitution.

The three farm laws which got passed hastily during corona period came out to be anti farmer bill and that could leave farmer down to mercy of corporates. Secondly, the law was not clear about the guarantee price for certain essential crops. Lastly, the mandis operated under the APMC law will be abrogated because of this Act. Dig deep and understand that the farmers will be compelled to sell the crop to corporate companies at lesser cost if mandis go inoperative. @@sunnymitra6372
