Thanks For the review man! I have looked at dozens of videos and none of them mentioned about the keyboard's functionality on Mac. But you did and that helped a lot in making my decision. Great review man! keep up the good work
@@MainCave Thanks for the review. On Mac, one thing I still do not understand: Are profiles/mappings you setup on the Ultimate software on windows are saved to the device? and then available to use on the Mac also? Or on the mac you can only map the A/B buttons and the super buttons?
@MainCave I'm considering buying the keyboard, but I'm from Finland and we have slightly different layout than the ANSI. We have Ä, Ö, Å letters, some different keys and some other differences. I'm not sure if I could remap some of the keys to a similar layout we have with the ultimate software v2 for example äöå. Is it possible?
I love my m edition. It looks beautiful and very beige like old ibm model Ms. I just can’t find a use for the super buttons especially since there’s a cable attached to it and I don’t like the mess. I think I’ll get a Bluetooth 1/8inch audio transmitter and see if that somehow sends the signal to the keyboard and lets me mount the buttons under my desk somewhere. But yeah man what a beautiful board it definitely got me into this new hobby. Also I use Mac OsX and changing the command key over was super easy on system settings
I have been thinking about buying this for a while now since it just looks so damn good. Does it work well in wired mode??. And how are the switches it comes with? I game alot and want light switches. But i guess i can just buy other switches for the buttons i use the most and leave the rest it comes with. Allways fun with variety
It works very well in wired mode, don’t notice any lag. The switches I got with mine are very very clacky so may not be good for gaming so just replace with ones you fancy and can’t see why it won’t be great for it.
The backlight definitely depends on the person, but yeah it does look amazing and would be perfect for working in the dark. Meanwhile, I'd love to use them but get immediately slammed with occular migraines when theres multicolored lights; to make things worse, living in China it is legitimately impossible to get a proper mechanical keyboard and tower case without the room becoming a rave, requiring seperate fees to mod everything to not use RGB backlights. Heading back to the states finally, saw this video, noted that its 20% off in China with tax...did not hesitate to buy it.

The switches are very light and easy to press, but also clicky. I think you'll love em as long as you don't need a super quiett keyboard.
What is that lovely monitor to your right at the 6:26 mark? Nice review btw!
The small one? That’s an 8” echo
strange enough.... if I press down any of the panic button in Bluetooth mode, it puts my pc to sleep mode... it only works when in USB mode.
They only say its "DOO" because they dont even want to test Ninten"DOE"s legal department 💀
😂
Would be cool if this also worked with an Xbox
