I’m here for the Zeka hate, I’ve been critical when analyzing their games this year. But straight up the Akali game was very very very good. He team fought very well, not getting caught and what not. They are a better team with him playing champions that he can carry on. I actually find it an indictment on the coaching staff they don’t play around his strengths more.

I was surprised people even had faith that D+ would beat T1 after their game 5 series with Gen G and after HLE clapped T1. HLE (i'd say mostly Peanut) knew what t1's game plan is and the series was basically just Peanut and Delight running the entire map while T1 looked like they had no idea how to play in the new meta. I think the DDoS does affect how T1 would prepare and execute basic maneuvers/mechanics, but that extra time probably wouldn't fully prepare them for HLE's proactive map play. D+ vs T1 post DDoS it was easy to favor T1 because D+'s way of playing the game is seemingly hard countered by T1 and it just feels like D+ as a team have no idea what to do against them. The last 2 Bo5s they had even consisted of slumping Gumayusi(2022) and post recovery faker (2023) and still lose anyway so this was an easy call. If summer 2023 D+ was any indication and we still had questionable D+ even in this season, why even bother believing in them?
I love the fact that Guma wont play Zeri.. Zeri and yummi should have never been released and botlane should be about the 2v2 dominance not the cull hug turret wait for daddy playstyle..
