Yeah i think people don't really appreciate what a difference a thing like this can do for an area, sports-wise. How many kids that would have quit football in Wales, never started in the first place, or never took it seriously, are now doing something differently? Those kinds of things add up in a game with such a high ceiling as football. It all synergizes together to where you get more motivated kids, with more of the good ones staying home, with better coaching and training, and hell by bringing more money into Wales (Especially with all the TV tourists Wales is going to get considering how big the show is getting) even better food for the kids! It might not turn every farmers kid into Messi, but it will make a difference.
The Welsh people are the salt of the earth. Wonderful people, stoic, bright, hardworking and good hearts.. to see what Thatcher did to the Kingdom of Wales genuinely is a travesty. Well done to all involved, and I will watch any updates on Netflix. From a fan in England.

With their pulling power and ability to build a good management team, League One is a given. Once the ground is redeveloped, they're going to be getting over 10,000 fans every home game. After that, it gets tougher. Championship football is certainly possible, if they continue to make good decisions, but Premier League is a big ask for a club the size of Wrexham. That would really be a fairy tale story.
Ryan Reynolds is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, and is not afraid to use his star power to pull in the sponsorships. They're going to fill their soon to be 15,000 seat stadium which will easily give them the revenue to get into League One. After that, it's gets a lot tougher, but a well run club their size should be able to make it to the Championship with a little good fortune.
Because Wrexham, theoretically at least, can get to the Premier League, which is the most lucrative, famous and watched League in the world. The potential the club has is massive. Where as if they bought a Canadian club, without meaning to sound harsh, nobody outside of North America would care.
Why Wrexham?!? Ones of oldest football clubs around. The oldest international stadium in the WORLD… the magic of the Racecourse…the most loyal fans that supported by taking 18k to a FA trophy final, then 12k to a playoff… all in non league my friend… we are mighty Wrexham FC. Hope they know what they're getting themselves into.
Job 1 for Wrexham - buy new microphones.
Wonder where there backing power is financially going forward..Football is an expensive game..know there loaded..but the game is expensive
Good luck to Wrexham for rest of season from a blade
Why not buy one of the Canadian clubs? Or start up a new Canadian club? Why Wrexham in Wales thousands of miles away?
I be the whitecaps would have cost more :)
Do some digging!! on why they wanted this club, you might get the gist of WHY!!!! WREXHAM FC 👌🏴
Because Wrexham, theoretically at least, can get to the Premier League, which is the most lucrative, famous and watched League in the world. The potential the club has is massive. Where as if they bought a Canadian club, without meaning to sound harsh, nobody outside of North America would care.
@@Hittingitstiff theoretically, if you buy one Lottery line you could win the jackpot. Because those are similar odds to Wrexham ever reaching the PL.
Up the town!!! That’s why!
