You get the feeling Foster considers it a real privilege to be part of Wrexhams history, when bigger egos would look at it the other way around. More power to him, and Wrexham!
Ben Foster doesn’t talk or act like a footballer that’s been trained on what to say like the others and that’s why we are drawn to him ❤ lovely bloke too!
Congratulations Wrexham, I live in Ireland and watched the game live, I am a palace fan but following Wrexham since the owners took over, one of the commentators said after the game the fans raised £100k in 7 hours to save the club back in 2011, that's amazing, I remember watching you beat Arsenal in the cup with that famous Mickey Thomas goal when I was young so I couldn't be happier for you
The driving force is Rob MclEhenny. He’s a force of nature. RR is the press guy, the slick talker, but it’s Rob that made this happen. Ffs - he even learnt to speak Welsh! That’s commitment.
@@essbeenz they’re both top notch owners and have taken on different roles between them to immerse each other in the club, where they’re in front of the camera it never feels like a PR stunt
My God We Blew the Roof of Our House yesterday Screaming. I'm so proud of you Wrexham. You've done it. 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 Even though I'm an Essex Girl. Wrexham is my through and Through. ❤️
Ben Foster what an amazing human being what you see is ehat you get, so down to earth l, great heart and brilliant goalkeeper through the years. Inspirational attitude and knowledgeable and someone you will always feel comfortable around. One of the best and natural interviews I've witnessed having watched over all leagues.Congrats guys.
@Jared G I don't think they will. Ryan and Rob will build on this and do what it takes for Wrexham to stay in the Football League. I'm not saying they'll be promoted to the Prem and playing Champions League in 10 years' time, but Ryan and Rob will definitely want to ride the this momentum for as long as they can.
Congratulations Wrexham. A a Fozcast fan its been great to follow the teams end of season and convert myself to following the clubs fortunes. Fully deserved. Its a breath of fresh air to see some owners who have no agenda except making sure this club rises from the ashes. you can see the deep love they have for the club. i wish you all the luck for next season. such a good vibe to see how laid back yet professional the club is. best question asked in any press conference goes to Fozzy. " how do i pronounce services in welsh"?
Credit to Foster. I’d love to see more players like him make dreams come true at smaller clubs, just to pass on their knowledge, experience and professionalism to grass roots football. Probably worth more than any financial benefits they get at this level from the highest tier.
Bolton did exactly the same thing decades ago by signing an aged Peter Shilton. He rarely played, but the side were pushing for promotion; his experience and tactical knowledge was a huge boon for the younger players.
Unfortunate that Fozzie didn't get his medal considering the fact that the only reason they won it on this day is because of his performances in the last few games. Not to discredit Lainton. As a Bolton Fan it's great to see some of our ex-players, academy kids, and even Parkinson himself be so vital to Wrexham's success.
@@darrylbrookes2780 If its the same as the efl then you need to be on the team sheet for 25% of games, which would be 12, to be guaranteed a medal. They may be able to request more at their own expense.
Got here randomly. It's refreshing to watch athletes talk openly without the filter of PR people telling them what to say like in most North American leagues.
The Wrexham story has gotten a lot of traction on the left side of the Atlantic, largely because of Rob and Ryan. I really hope it serves as a catylist for the further popularization of football in the U.S. and Canada. The sport is massive here at the youth level, but by 14 or so most kids transition to hockey in Canada or traditional American sports in the U.S., which are worthless (except for basketball). I've loved the game ever since I picked it up in college, and played intramurals in Medical school. At UC Davis in 1972 the league had two divisions with 35 teams, but we may as well have been playing Irish hurling for all the interest it excited outside our league. Between Welcome To Wrexham and the experience of Rob and Ryan, it may be that the smouldering growth of the game, and MLS, may be on the cusp of exploding in the U.S. and Canada. Let's hope.
Soccer/football can't grow in the U.S without multiple leagues and relegation/promotion....Our owners don't like that.(U.S.) I wish it was more popular though.
2:54 I'm grinning from ear to ear 😂 Yep, pretty nice medal! Edit: The whole session was great! How does a 56 year old grandpa in Arkansas get so invested in the Wrexham FC and the Wrexham community? I don't know but I've learned over the past 2 years, we got Paul Mullin and you don't!
Man, I remember watching this match and the Notts County match. Both left me feeling like someone ripped out my adrenal glands wringer them out empty and put them back in, it was emotionally draining and exhausting but I loved it!!!!
Poor Elliot Lee towards the end is absolutely trembling with cold sat there with wet through clothes, lucky not to get hypothermia, bless him. Yet he stayed to answer all the questions..Love this club..Up the town ❤
Great that the Wrexham players and owners acknowledge the performance of other teams...Notts County and Boreham Wood were praised as they should be..Hopefully Wrexham remain classy...
What did Ryan say about people in show business when he came for the jerseys? Small detail in this incredible story!!! Ryan may be on camera more but Rob deserves at least as much recognition.
I actually got it wrong, since heard they were shivering/cold as they were covered in champagne and booze and soaked after the celebrations. Much better than what I initially thought thankfully! :-)
Ben foster is instantly likeable. There is literally no ego from anyone involved in this club. They are completely wholesome. So deserving of this promotion. 🏴
When Foster is finally done, he's going to make a great pundit.
The Football fill-in is a great show on his RUclips channel
Dude, he doesn’t need to be a pundit on TV. He is smashing it on his own RUclips channel
Acting cameos 😂🎉
He was a pundit in the Swedish PL studio 2 months or so ago. Did a good job
Hea more than that

This definitely one of the best interviews of Wrexham on Ben Foster and Elliott Lee together. The cameo of Ryan Reynold's was an icing to the cake!!
As soon as Ben came in, it became the best post-match interview ever!😂😂😂 I love this guy!

My local club, Leicester City were everyone`s second favorite club back in 15/16. I`m glad there is a different club carrying that torch now.
Hopefully they don’t collapse like Leicester is. It’s easy to relax after a win then fall apart.
