Thanks for reading & making it to the bottom of the description for no reason what so ever. Развлечения
Just yesterday I was doing the Spider by Katsuta Kyohei and thought „wow I wish I could shape my models“ THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you grant!! I’m sure many people find this helpful, i might even use a couple of these tools myself
What is the name of the pencil-like tool that you use to apply glue between the layers of the model?
THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO
crazy awesome nice thanks ^^
Hi OP, can you please tell me what model the chameleon is and where can I find the diagrams/cp?
For how long have u been folding? crazy work right here, thanks you very much, seriously :)))
The Phoenix by kamiya on spider man is a cursed image
Wacky Mel0n dont have a stand for it haha but it works
I really enjoy your content, its is high quality, up to date and informative. Can I recommend you invest in some kind of tripod for your camera/phone? I am sure that would make these videos even more enjoyable to watch!
Hamade Moodie i have a tripod but couldn’t find the part that attaches the camera to it so had to film it like that :(, getting a real proper and better one soon!
@@FearlessFlourish awesome, thank you for replying!
Ever considered using those little magnets that are quite powerful for the size to help hold things in place? Those little ones that are shaped like tiny flat cylinders. Only a beginner at origami but just thinking out loud.
No idea is a bad one, and yours? Is great! I've been at it for years and never thought of magnets! Reminds me of a breaking bad lightbulb moment! 😁
Thanks you
The 2nd one is a fondant tool.
HEY I KNOW THAT GLUE THERE!!!!!! _what no its totally not the glue i use to make double tissue or tissue foil no not at all..._
I use methyl cellulose for both shaping and double tissue :) spray adhesive works great too but it's messy
Where can I get these items?
wait they don't have blu tac in the US????
Oh im not sure
Yes, there are similar products in the US, but they go by different names depending on the manufacturer. Poster putty, mounting putty, fun tack, etc. They are pretty much interchangeable.
for malleable wire, can you use pipe cleaners?
Yes :)
Thank you I'm working on a book
Woow
Is the glue latex free?
What paper do you recommend when you cant buy it from online stores
I like mail check your local art stores, they will deffinetly have some sort of paper that will be foldable worth, itl be worth it
@@FearlessFlourish I live in India and I have never in my whole life seen a single shop with origami grade paper. Every "origami sheet" I've bought from my local art supply stores is cheaply made and not even completely square(a pain in the ass to align diagonal creases)
@@ishaanshrivastava8671 try buying tissue paper online,it's usually very cheap and make double tissue paper(u can watch a video on how to make it)it's a good paper for complex folds
@@ishaanshrivastava8671 haha same in the philippines
Please make a model of ship paper you can do
Just starting out, but doesn't the use of glue void "origami" and instead make it papercraft?
Not much. There are some good origamis that you might need glue, tape, or even scissors
Most advanced origami paper is made with adhesive anyway (and people sometimes just wet it a little to use the adhesive for shaping), it's not really a hard rule to not use glue, plus the model itself didn't use glue, it was just for a better finish :)
some times I use 2 thin blade puddy knives to crease point to point i get a really precise and tight crease line when needed....i sure ain't near as experienced or skilled as you....young fella.
wait is blu tack like clay?
The greatest origami investment I've made so far (aside from time) is the purchase of a high quality, large, rotary paper cutter. It cost about 200$ on Amazon.
You've given me some good ideas. I've been mostly using paperclips but will use various guage wire in the future. I use small binder clips for clamps but the tiny clothes pegs would probably be softer on the paper.
Useful but out of my current budget 🤣
Is english your native language???
Yes!
It doesnt matter if you have the tools to shape, you need to add character, make the model look alive
