Me, as being a beginner to CPs, after watching this tutorial, it looks like I could have easily collapsed this because of how straightforward this is. The only questions I have, is how do you make the bird bases in certain places of the paper? Or rather any base? Do you make each individual line, or do you actually make the Base? Also, at 14:20 shouldn’t the diamond be folded so that the top and bottom would meet vertically instead of horizontally since the colors are different along the center vertical line?
Hey, thanks for making this video! I've learning how to fold from CPs! And I'm looking forward to make this model in the future. I would like to ask a technical question: How do you know from the Crease Patter where start the collapsing? :) It comes with experience, or can be pinpointed from tre creases? Thanks for these videos, they help me a lot! Best!
unfortunately I think the wings you folded are totally wrong. after seeing other videos and pictures, it doesn't seem like what you did in the video, and it prevents me from folding the wings with what i actually have. www.flickr.com/photos/tohs_origami/29826623865/in/photostream/ here the wings are well folded, but i can't figure out what you missed to do that, please help!
I agree with you, the wings should be folded in a way where you can mountain fold the farthest corner and pleat instead of collapsing like an in a in out open sink.
Dont see why it is, allowing yourself to figure out the rest from where I left off is very important practice to honing your own skills with shaping and collapsing ect, you might aswell complaing about every designer of a crease pattern out there about why they are not making a shaping guide after collapse
I respect that you left the shaping and details to us. Real classy man nice
Great video Grant. Looking foward to part 3
He said no part 3 you dumbass

Me in the begining:I just want to know how he completes every thing in 30 min
Me in the end:*Intresting*
Thank you very much for this amazing tutorial
thanh phong nguyễn welcome!
Part 3, the details.
he had a video for wings and head i think that's all you need other details just make it urself and make it unique
Why aren't you just trying to make the details? That way you can do them in your own way and it would be way more satisfying :D
@@Mrnickybibi where is that video your'e saying?
@@carlopadon it's actually Tim Chang's tutorial my mistake ruclips.net/video/xh_gPtlQHlM/видео.html
I have shaped and folded this befor and would like to see how you did it even if you said you wouldn’t maybe there’s some way?
great job! Keep it up! It would be even better if you could make a video on the major shaping
I really like your work! Congratulations!!!

@@FearlessFlourish aww dang
Trexrush you will manage it!
@@FearlessFlourish we'll see, im almost done precreasing. Would the references be the photos on his website?
Trexrush don’t remember seeing the references on his website, il double check
How do u knew what was moutain and Valley folds?
Most of the time, its coloured side up, first line in is mountain
You don't show also how to precrease completely
I noticed that there are a bunch of holes in your paper... are those normal Satoshi Kamiya's works??
The paper i use in the tutorial rips very easy if thats what you mean?
@@FearlessFlourish oh i thought those were a part of the piece, to help fold intricate parts. welp i guess i gotta find better paper then
how big must the paper be?
70x70
actually i made everything but i don’t know how to shape it, if u see my comment could u at least tell me a tip ?
honestly im just here for the colored cp
the top of the wings are mountain folds, not valley folds
Izzy Silva i noticed that when i shaped mine, easy to resolve
@@FearlessFlourish cool, will you do part 3?
I noticed something wrong with my wing as well
Izzy silva or fearless flourish pls explain how to fix them!
