In the early 2000s, I used to mix in a converted garage studio and my wife and kids would always bust in and interrupt me. I would get so frustrated, but now I would give anything to have those times back again.
@@cdauterive1 Interior dimensions before treatment was around 11'-2" x 15'-2" with a ceiling that slopes from 9' up to 11'-8". Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.
Failed, i noticed 1 cable. 😅. Nice Rec studio. It looks very neat. Cable management is on another level. And the windows thats exactly what i would do to keep me connected to the outside and not feel trapped.

Reminds me of the section of one of my favorite books "House of Leaves" :) It does look bigger inside than it does outside. The windows make all the difference. Thanks for watching!
I also wonder what it smells like in these studios I watch on all the studio tour videos. Won’t the polywool or whatever the absorbent material stink slightly? Especially since studios are airtight. No fresh air inside these studios. Or is it managed by the air conditioner?
Great question. I was stressed about all the off gassing from material. I put in a fresh air system. You can see it above of of the middle windows. Mini splits do not bring in fresh air!
Wonder how all these youtube studios afford to build them. People cant afford to eat or rent and yet we see this stuff all the time. Makes me wonder whats the secret.
Ummmm…. You do know it’s cheaper when you design it with a friend and that friend has resources, right? Promoting each other is an invaluable commodity. 😂
Man! I remember "Biz" back in the day! So awesome to see him grow and succeed in his passion!
This is killer. I need to win the lottery to build something like this
Appreciate it! Fingers crossed for those winning numbers! 😊

Love this setup, specially the daylight! Curious, can the speaker stands move up and down with the desk? If so, would love to know who makes them!
Dope studio bro
Looks awesome! Any idea what desk he's using?
It is a custom desk made by Grantham Woodworks. A link for their website is in the description above. Thanks for watching!

I’m wondering what the estimated build cost is of this studio? Outstanding!
100K
@@morbidmanmusic If it costs 100K, they were robbed.

@@haverstickdesigns thanks seems that the reatement on the wall was not too deep, maybe 6 inches?
@@bluematrix5001 You're welcome! In some areas it is 6" and others 4". The vertical and horizontal corners also have thicker bass trapping.
What interface is he using? Cant really spot in anywhere

@@Bizmxd thanks for replying. So such a system exists basically. Good to know. It's expensive maybe. Can be installed to small spaces too?
