James Bond's car was cool, and so was Batman's... But Chitty was the coolest and most badass car (of all time), as she doesn't have a load of gadgets (and I think she was the inspiration for the flying car in Flubber aswell).

I couldn’t wait until the record of the soundtrack came out and since then I’ve loved the movie. I’ve watched quite a few times now I’ve got it on Blu-ray DVD. Some Bloke ........ how do you know it was the original?.........5 cars were made for the film LOL............id still give the guy credit where its due for making a nice replica.............it would never be exact proportions as the car he has is a smaller wheelbase but he done a very good job

great see this film when i was 8 years old in 1968 mum and dad took has never forgotten it still watch it now I am 63 now .and I must say you are great 5 years of your life if I had your skills I would build one my self and if your kids don't want it put it in a museum where millions of people can look at what you achieved a nice picture of you beside chitty

Ian Flemming's original book had the car flying over traffic which surprised Commander Potts (ret) as it did Cratacus in the movie. The book illustrations show it growing wings.

Like you I told myself I want one (seeing how finding a CCBB was not going to happen). 10 years later, 93, bought a 58 Plymouth and made myself a Christine show car! Because of this I appreciate what you have done. Ps I to am a Police Officer. Thanks for what you have done!

It's a fantastic piece of work, and I only have one little quibble. She's a little short in the nose. I think the original Chitty is just a tad longer. Other than that, it's an incredible thing that he's built. Just beautiful.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was the first movie I ever saw. I got to see it at Grauman's Chinese Theater in 1968
It has wings, because Roald Dahl was an Airforce pilot during WW2. He LOVED flying and great cars.
