Harry's award is nothing just like him.
Pat Tillman was a true American hero and a great athlete. Its a travesty to be giving it to Harry. There are no doubt people involved with creating Invictus that have truly worked to make it what it is. Harry is just a figure head who is only there because of his birth. Let's add to that that now he and Meghan are using it as a cash cow and making a profit from its use on Netflix. It is another reason not to watch ESPN.
Pat Tillman was a famous athlete and also a great American military hero and patriot. He embodies everything that Harry does not. It will demean the value of the award.
I had jump back in. Sorry, Eliot but Harry has used his mother's death to manipulate his family, the media and the public. I lost my mother and my little sister when i was 8 1/2. I also lost my son 12 years ago. Losing a loved one through death is a loss. Witnessing the death is a trauma which is very difficult to get over. Harry suffered a loss like millions of us do. But us common people need to learn to live with it and move on. Trust me losing a child is something no parent can get over it. You alwsys carry that pain but like the vets Harry says he understands you learn to live with it and move on with life. When my 26 yesr old son was killed by a drunk driver i didnt want to live. But i had 2 dogs and 4 cats that needed me to get up for and function. I am not wealthy, so i took a couple of weeks off and then had to go to work every day as i have bills to pay. Harry had a life of luxury anf a family and staff to take care of him all his life but i had one thing that he doesnt but needs. I have my faith in the Lord. It is not thst Harry has had too much thetapy it's that he hasn't had the kind of therapy conducive to healing. His lack of capability to acknowledge accountability nor recognize that like E=Mc2, that for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction, referred to in life as consequences id indicative of that. The best thing that Harry could do is go to an AA ( Addicts Anonymous)meeting and do the 12 Steps Program that is the basis for most rehab clinics.
He Is exploiting his mother, in my opinion he Is doing It because he knows that Lady diana nostalgics could still support him.
I'm so sorry for all of the loss you've had to go through. You should be so proud of yourself for not giving up and for getting on with living your life. I'm sure it's not been an easy journey, but you're proof that you don't have to play the victim and can have a productive life after loss. Harry has used losing his mother as an excuse for all of his disgusting behaviour and drug addiction. I used to have some sympathy for him, but that's long gone. Harry needs to stop playing the Diana card and do something productive with his life.

In Australia we have our wonderful Medicare system, funded by taxes. But many folk have private health insurance, especially when you have a family or are aged over age 40. Private is great for reducing the costs of optical and dental, and hugely important for operations.

If Harry had an ounce of dignity, he wouldn't accept the Pat Tillman award. It's obviously a bought award because he's not fit to accept such an award. It's an insult to Pat Tillman's life and service to his country. He made the ultimate sacrifice. Harry has done very little for the Invictus Games. It was all set up and handed to him to keep him out of trouble, and he is again rewriting history and claiming he created the games. Harry was also given the games as part of the Sandringham agreement. He has never acknowledged the millions of dollars William and Catherine donated and has never put his hand in his own pocket to help fund the games. All he has done is take from it and now uses it as a vehicle for his and Rachel's PR. It's disgusting. The IG are no longer about the veterans and are just the Harry and Rachel show.

No he has had the wrong sort of therapy. None of them has asked him if he has had any reason to think he has had any responsibility in the way he feels and having trouble with. The Monarch is the head of the Church of England. The others might be going to church too, but they just don not have pictures taken. They can get o with their lives without everyone being in their business.

I’m not sure it’s correct to say that Princess Catherine and Prince William paid money to the Invictus games foundation when Prince Harry stood back from royal duties. According to the Royal Foundation website, Prince Harry, whilst he was co patron of the Royal foundation established the endeavour fund which was used to support wounded veterans. When he left the royal foundation, the endeavour fund was transferred into Invictus Games Foundation. If The Wales’ had donated funds to the Invictus games foundation, wouldn’t it have said this on the website?
No im quite correct. I just double checked and a £500k grant was given to Harry or rather the Invictus games from W&K who retained the Royal Foundation. The grant was held in the Endeavour fund which Harry then amalgamated into Invictus.

@@RoyalReviewer sorry but that article does not make sense - it seems to be conflating the transfer of the endeavour fund to the IGF with the Wales’ making a grant/donation to the IGF which is not the same thing at all. As I have said in my previous post, the transfer is not described as a grant or donation on the Royal Foundation Website.
It also talks about it on the Royal Foundation Wiki.
I’m wondering if the money ‘grant’ was made in a previous year which may have showed up in a different set of accounts as being held by Endeavour. Then when they split it was allowed to remain by Royal Foundation.
