I started Apex on a PS5 but got a Series X to play more multiplayer games with my cousin but I ended up getting way too comfortable with the xbox controller and now it's hard for me to pick up my PS5 for multiplayer games, only using it for story driven/single player games. That elite 2 is awesome for competitive. Big fan and love your console content. Both are great consoles though

don't u get frame rate issues...in last zone when there is crypto ult is going on and banglore smoke......u can get 60 fps consistently...but with ps4 version running on ps5 only

You never got less then 60fps the entire time. Seeing as Apex came out last gen the ps5 and xbox should handle it amazingly. I also never get frame drops in this game. Ever. Weird

The colors in the video or totally different from what I was saying on my screen, but when I converted the web M file to MP4, it literally washed out all color so I tried to call the correct it but couldn’t really do much
I wonder if I would improve if I got to Xbox series x Currently my setup is xbox one s - so I must play on 720p And then I have 80ms ping but I am locked in to that horrible w8fi deal for another 1.5 yrs I got myself a 165 hz monitor now but other than smaller screen and better input lag it doesnt help obviously But i mean before I was on a 2008 60" tv with 300ms input lag. And with higher fps your aim will become very consistent But beware, PC is a new level of sweatvest. Like its day n night. Your average PC lovby is harder than your xbox sweat lobbies So therefore, xbox x pribably would be a good compromize for more stutter and lagfree gaming and better resolution and less sweaty lobbies. I feel like with next gen consoles you have a hughe unfair advantage especially over xbox one Like people will one clip you mid grapple and off jump towers all the time. so if you wanna survive on PC, you really need to improve skills on placement especially. Like there is no more exposong yourself from cover and getting away with it. No, mistakes are punished on the spot. So most of the time after wirk I go to xbox bc I dont wanna sweat haha.

I'm 17 so the PS5 was a little high budget for me, but more affordable compared to a decent PC. Im super excited. Regarding what you commented on in terms of PC, I completely hear you! My main duo, a friend form school, plays on PC and I play with him whenever I do play, so we're always in PC lobbies. Ironically, it's not me that complains, its him ahaha. My accounts high SBMM is mixing into his lower level PC lobbies (he's relatively new to apex) and so now we play at high level PC lobbies. Fortunately I'm a pretty strong player if I say so. I've mained lifeline from the beginning and so I'm used to playing aggressive even as a less rewarding character. I have around 9k kills on her, with a 4k too. My KD is only around 2 atm, but I don't try too hard to keep it up, so i'd say that's pretty decent.

I think you will dominate on ps5. The ps in generally is a lot more optimized for Apex compared to xbox. Sweet, sweet, you will have a lot of fun with your new setup (maybe even miss the challenge)

Try the Dualsense Edge you won't be disappointed. I have it and it only has 2 paddles but the feel is great and the micro-adjustments you can make with the deadzone is perfect. You can also change button mappings on the controller and disable buttons such as L3/R3 (I turn off so not to accidentally perform actions while aiming during an intense fight. WIth it disabled I can set it to something useless in-game and never have to worry about punching or anything while shooting.).
@@wattyswrld Yea wished there were more paddles, but my go-to for it was the ease of changing out the sticks in case of stick drift and such. I'm pretty much gonna be on PS5 for a while until moving to PC if cross-progression ever becomes a thing so getting a good controller was beneficial. Tried playing diamond/master lobbies without it and movement sucked so it was difficult lol. Honestly, since you can set up to 4 profiles with different sensitivities and mapping it's great for different games too if you ever look into it again. Probably the best purchase of the year for me lol and that saying something when most stuff disappoints in terms of game accessories 😂
I started Apex Season 0 on the PS4 then migrated to the Xbox and played the majority of my time on there. Just recently got a PS5 and playing Apex on there now and it’s a bit of a learning experience. I’m coming from the Elite Series 2 controller so I’m missing the 2 back paddles I was accustomed to. Now movement wise I’m definitely feeling just as fluid if not more just with the standard Dualsense controller. Can’t wait to get the Dualsense Edge. My only issue thus far is my aiming is off
Honestly i love the playstation 5 just got mine 3 weeks ago no lagging no game stutters just literally blown my mind 😮 i used to have the og Xbox one original and playing apex on last gen didn't feel right with me so i decided to upgrade and it was the best decision ever i got a standard PS5 welcome to the club of next gen can't wait for what the future holds on this console.

As an Ex Apex player quit the game over a year ago, Respawn is the worst FPS developer they ruined this game. It became so much about profit skins or like being socially acceptable or whatever they lost the core gameplay deliver a terrible ranked system poor controller support not as smooth as PC bad skill based match making and then no cross progression even across ps accounts and then to top it off not even a decent next gen console version which is perfectly doable. They killed the game and at times I wish another dev would take Apex and remaster it from the ground up with everything we as a community know will better the game and cement its longevity for pro play and casual play. Just my thoughts though😊
In my opinion, if the person wants to play apex and only apex (Maybe others competitives games), they should get a pc. But if this same person wants to play some ps exclusives, Ps5 is good for them. For me crypto and fuse ults are the worst for causing the frame drops, other than that i shall get back to my attempts to acquire a 4k… going… so well

I don’t use any overdrive setting and also I am not sure about the performance mode. I just know I was in 60hz and 1440p
