Thank you so much for watching. Whether its your first or last time watching, I hope it was enjoyable. Have a great day and I hope you're liking the series.
this feels very safe, and not overly dramatic at all, I am not sure I want Santander on the roster, and even if Max has fallen off, I don't see his agent agreeing to a "cheap" contract" this video is entertaining, but I was hoping for more risks. I still like your content though
Cubs fan and season ticket holder here. Congratulations, you just built another 83 win team that will miss the playoffs. Cubs lack a major thing that just about every top team in the game has. An aircraft carrier aka star player. Cubs either need to sign a Soto (won't happen), Fried, Burnes type guys, or deal for a guy like Vlad. Trade Nico for something, move Shaw to 2nd. Maybe do a deal like Busch, Triantos, Ballesteros, + a low A guy for Vlad. Also need to pray Belli opts out and moves on.
Cubs had alot of pitching injuries. The 5th starters kept getting hurt. Hendricks, Wicks, Brown. Our setup man Merrywesther out most of season and other long injuries. Hendricks pitching terrible. We have 2 very good starting pilchers Then Tallion and Assad did decent. Not enough offense from 3rd and 4rd spots in lineup. Need more power there.
As someone who wanted Bellinger to sign last offseason I dont think him leaving would create that big of a hole. I like Busch at first. Happ-PCA-Suzuki in outfield. Pick up Tanner Scott from the dads to be our closer. Get a big power hitter like Soto(prob not happening). Lose Wisdom and Madrigal and have Shaw and Caissie platoon. Biggest question marks would be Peredes at 3rd and Amaya at catcher. I wouldn't mind picking up a more proven catcher and having Amaya play behind them and hopefully Peredes has a better season defensively and figures out how to hit at Wrigley.
No catchers aside from Soto worth getting. Rest of em are washed up experimental type pickups which kinda fits the front offices needs as we’ve seen with several other signings over the years
They need to move Hoerner in the off-season (preferably for bullpen help) and have Shaw at second for the opener in Japan in March. They also need to platoon Cassie in right with Suzuki, with the other being DH. Pitching-wise, they need to get another one of the prized Japanese free agents, assuming they're allowed to come to MLB, plus they should see what it takes to get Corbin Burnes. Otherwise, the team can be the same. If Bellinger opts out, yeah, Santander would be a decent option. No need for Soto if they do these moves (and with the Yankees looking like they're World Series-bound, he's not leaving anyway). Such a team would win 90 games easily, barring another rash of injuries (which is always possible these days).
The Big Five of Happ, Belanger, Suzuki, Swanson & Hoerner have not been consistent clutch hitters 2 years in a row. I do not see how all five can be back with optimism they will get better. Who goes and who stays, I do not know. But changes are needed.
Oh boy , prpspects . Why bother signing any real stars when you can keep everyone excited about a bunch of kids who haven't taken an at bat in the majors yet ? Their sore armed pitching prospects are really not exciting anyone either and no other teams are burning up the phone lines with offers . They can't go into another year with Amaya holding them down at cacher and Paredes at 3rd is another sore spot . Swanson's outrageous contract is another issue handcuffing the team and there's 5 years left on that ! (good job Jed) this team will be operating like a small market team for the next decade unless they make some serious changes at the top .
What these prospects did in the minors means absolutely nothing. They haven't played one inning in the majors, thinking they're gonna help this team win now is ridiculous. Go get some proven talent and get to the postseason. Tired of hearing about unproven prospects. Wake up.
Easy. Remove hoyer and his friend the Brewers manager. Hire David Ross to do the job he earned. Watch every player perform better and up to their capability. Firing hoyer is the first thing that must happen before we can return to respectability. No real talent will sign for a known dirty backstabber.

a prospect is just what it is: a prospect.Oh and Dansby ,could you please start hitting in June next year?
Max Scherzer No way. He's a cripple.

They need a closer plain and simple. They had 29 blown saves convert 10 into wins and they are in the playoffs. Miller on the A's
The Cubs need pitching and a catcher.

Madrigal and wisdom need to go free up roster spots for prospects
Also Mastrobuoni too.

Could you rebuild the braves? Also nice video.
The Braves video is set to come out on the 22nd. I appreciate the support. Glad you stopped by.
Yeah ofc man.@@AveryTaylor69
Are you assuming Peralta is going to opt-out?? He signed a new 4-year deal before this past season, but has opt-outs after each year.
Hoyer has to be fired, period.
He’s handcuffed by an owner who’s playing cheap and broke.

Trade Happ and Nico, make happ drop his no trade clause
Moises
Ballesteros
Future first base for cubs 🤔
Dude Bote got released earlier this year 😂
He's still with the organization.
This isn't enough basically the same team 😒
Honestly all the moves he went through were really helpful

No Wisdom... you make take that as an edit or my commentary :)

Madrigal and Wisdom need to go!!
