    My 3-year-old grandson loved the cars and trucks from Dollar Tree more than other gifts he got. They're just the right size for his little hands.

    Definitely the gift bags, they came in real handy this Christmas. And they are so pretty. I also bought some puzzles and small toys for the stockings. Dollar Tree always has some hidden treasures.😊

    Dollar Tree sells a box of food covers similar to shower caps. They come in a box of three sizes with the large size fitting a pie pan. These are great for quickly covering left overs or giving a plate of goodies to a friend.

    Just went to the Dollar Store today for post holiday sales...half off all wrapping paper, tissue paper, boxes, all things holiday. I inventory what I have and what I could use more of. Spent $13 on tissue paper, shirt boxes of different sizes, and some cute stocking stuffers for next year for grandkiddos. Now I'm set probably for the next 2 yrs.

    Dawn, you really got some great Dollar Tree hits! I love that place! Though I miss them being $1.00. 😅 I cleaned up on books and toys for the kids for Christmas! How did I miss the Slow Cooker Liners? They're expensive everyplace else.
    I get the plastic crates to make shelving, trash bags, silk flowers, Dawn dish washing liquid, dozen eggs; when they have them in stock, large jug of water, wax paper & and foil. You can't beat Walmart's sales!
    Thanks for the tip on the Oil of Olay dupes! I'm going to take a trip in the new year to see what else they've got! That cardigan gift your friend got you is gorgeous! What a deal! Until next time! ✨️⭐️🤗🎁❤⭐️✨️

    Good morning!
    I like a few things from there.
    I sometimes get the waxed paper.
    I like the tomato basil seasoning and I get soap there from time to time.
    I noticed they hace some more Brand name things there, like All laundry soap.
    Sometimes, I do get the crossword books.
    I will look for those planners.
    I like your sweater too.
    Have a great day!

    I have those sweaters in all colors, perfect for Okla weather. Also with a pair of the Walmart knit slacks $10.00 and a nice knit shirt paired with the sweater it looks very nice. Add a scarf or appropriate jewelry and a hit.

    I like the Dollar Tree kitchen sponges in packages of 6. They're lightweight, rinse out well and last a long time. I also buy their reusable cleaning towels and magic erasers. These dupes work just as well as the brand names at a fraction of the price.

    We don't have Dollar Tree in Australia but I did get some gel nail polish from an equivalent store here for 50c a bottle, usually about $10 on a final sell out. I bought 2 of neutral colour and very happy with it.

    I like the greeting cards from Dollar Tree. I also buy tape there. I agree that the planners are nice, but my husband always buys me a fancy shmancy one from another store. I have to have a physical calendar/planner on my desk. On my phone is not the same. I am a list maker. Pen and paper all the way! That is pretty much all I have ever purchased from DT. I think I got some Nivea Cream there one time. I was excited about that. I only go there about 2 times a year.

    The gift bags at our dollar store, “ Dollarama” are great! I find that some plastic items aren’t durable.
    I try to avoid this store, because when I walk in to buy just a certain single product, I tend to come out with more than what I need. 😳

    I make my own deodorant. We think it works as well as name brand but without the high price and chemicals. 😮
    And I use my phone notes to keep a shopping list, because I never leave my phone at home. Dawn, get yourself a small magnetic dry easel board for your refrigerator and keep a running list of what you need at the store. Then type them in your phone. Money saved in the long run. 😊

    The cheap readers. In every color. They work well and I can use them to pull my hair back as a fashion accessory. 😀. Best Buy was the reusable makeup rounds. They fit nicely in my cup holders in the car and if something spills I can pop them out and wash them. I have been enjoying their XtraCare hair gel. It has not built up in my hair and it seems to be CG approved if anyone is interested.

    At DT I like to buy the Schneider Snaps pretzels, calendars for work and home, journals, and gifts for my niece and nephews. And body wash! They come in a big bottle for $1.25! I just bought a pineapple one. I bought a jelly bean one that smells like Bath & Bodyworks and I really wish I had bought a couple cause I don't see them there anymore.
    Yesterday I hit up Walmart and everyone and their grandma was there! 50% off Christmas! I now have a lifetime supply of wrapping paper plus i got my yearly popcorn tin. 😁 I also got this Rolling Stones shirt I've had my eye on for awhile at half off! 🥳 Now it is a bit snug so I will try to stretch it but if that doesn't work then I will have to lose weight for real this time. I used my credit card rewards so it's free. 😄

      I used to use them but got away from it in my push to eliminate single use items from our budget.
      They definitely help with clean up. If you use a plastic or wood utensil you won't rip the bag. Metal might though. Obviously your not opening it constantly so it doesn't have a lot of opertunities to rip.
      These days I just use washable rag and a bit of cooking oil. Cleans up with minimal effort.

    Dawn, you said the reason you had XMAS in your yard and omitted Christ from Christmas was because XMAS was a Greek term not true did some research Xmas just signifies Santa Claus and a tree something considered Pagen but not referring to Christ being born.I know Jesus was actually born on December 25 however I am just glad he was born .

    • @arthurmantzouris4413
      @arthurmantzouris4413 18 дней назад +2

      Did u know that Christ wasn't born on Dec 25th. How can I say such??
      Bc if you go to Jerusalem now in the winter time you will find them rainy season. But when the wise men or sherperds were out in the field tending their flocks it wasn't raining weather. So he couldn't of been born in Dec 25th. And not only that but Jesus in the Bible never told us his birth...so there you go. 😊😊😊

      I was puzzled about the x-mas sign too. My mom told me about never using it in place of Christmas back when l was about 7and l'm almost 70 now. I don't know if it's just around where l live or not but l don't see x-mas as much as l used to. That being said, l Googled it and several sites do say X in Greek is Christ. But l would never go against what my mom told me. 😊

    • @coffeecupconversations
      @coffeecupconversations 18 дней назад

      Well, RUclips is a great way to be misinformed. Those who hate Jesus but love greed use xmas. And no one in history knows the exact birth date, but Dec 25th was chosen by certain groups to celebrate, anyway. Youversion Bible app (free) and the Holy Bible will tell you fact from opinion when you don't know something. It is dangerous to babble non-truths to non-believers, knowing that believing them will send them to hell. A real place. Jesus came in human form, but his title is Son of God.
