Thank you Danno. The last time I was in the Dollar Tree was early December when I made care packages for some elderly neighbors who are having issues making ends meet. There are food pantries around here, but very seldom do they get personal care supplies and cleaning supplies from them. I made big packages of cleaning supplies and personal care items for cheap for them.
@@kathrinekerns8398 Thank you. I actually go to the food bank for one of the ladies and get extra stuff for her all the time that she wouldn't be able to afford. Dollar Tree is where we took our special needs child to teach her the concept of shopping, paying money, getting back change. Because it was a place where she could choose her own snacks and stay within budget.

Know this, dollar tree focuses on their seasonal stuff because they believe that is their money maker. And they don’t give enough hours to stock other things or have the hours to clean up the store. So when you go into a dollar tree and it’s messy, that is the reason
@madamebovary7211 I don't care if they know and they're not the type of people to let something that trivial bother them. When you think about it it's ridiculous spending $5 for a card that's going to be thrown in the trash can.
@@wren3347 Nobody saves the 50 cent cards 'cuz they're cheap paper and they fall apart. If you moved up to the $1 ones they may actually save them. 50 cent cards tell your friends and family that you barely care about them. It's better to send nothing.
@madamebovary7211 You've never seen them but here you are commenting. Apparently we all have money but we choose to shop at Dollar Tree for shitz and giggles. 🤡
No it's because they bought family dollar and said we can put their product in our store for more than a buck twenty five. No longer dollar tree or buck twenty five tree but now is known as family dollar
Look to see where the food is made. Most food products in dollar tree are made in other countries ...which have no gmos! I try to steer clear of food made in USA unless it's organic . So much food in dollar tree is made in other countries. Chocolate from Poland..cookies from india...alot of snacks made in turkey..cookie cream made in greece.candies made in germany. .check the labels.
They have added alot of new foods but you will notice alot of the soups, sauces and condiments still contain high frutose corn syrup which is outlawed in pretty much every country except the US. Just watch the ingredients if you are trying to get healthy. I shop the dollar tree too.
I spend most of my time in the grocery store reading the nutritional label on the back of the food packaging and comparing prices per serving. I have to watch sodium, sugar, fat amounts as well as watching out for all of the unnecessary additives in the food.
That’s why unless you’re on a budget you probably should avoid most of the food product sold at DollarTree. Especially if you have allergies to top allergens like soy for example
What I didn't like about Dollar Tree was, once they raised their price to $1.25, I knew it wouldn't be long before they kept raising their prices. It only took them about nine months to introduce a higher priced section (which now is about 15% of the store). Also, they reduced the size of many of their products so we're actually paying some 50% more for the same item over the last three years or so. Still, they do have a lot of good prices when compared to the other major stores so I keep shopping with them.
The reason they have raised their prices is because they bought out Family Dollar, which was going under financially. They had to make price adjustments to make up for the deficits in their books. Also, inflation has hit America hard these past couple of years. We are all still recovering from the COVID years. It seems we've all had to tighten our belts. I fear we will still have to continue tightening for a while. I like Dollar Tree for reasonable prices and smaller quantities (as a senior), although sometimes there are better deals to be found at grocery stores and warehouse stores.
@nancy9478 I agree. I know things can happen anywhere, but, about 6 mo ago, we bought a place up here in NW North Dakota on the Montana boarder, and my husband who works the oilfields up here now, was a truck driver coast to coast for years, said how he does not miss going through the larger cities and all that he saw and traffic and people etc... our traffic jam may be some mule deer or a few moose he has seen lately, but it is just so quiet up here. Take care and happy new year.
And now the Cyber truck explosion in Las Vegas at the Trump hotel. That didn't go as planned since the truck is built tough. Last I heard was the driver was the only one killed. The truck was loaded with flammable materials, it was intentional.
@@cgreen186 after seeing this video, I will probably be going to Dollar Tree. I don't think about going there. We have a nice big one right down the road.

I think that what some people don;t understand is accessibility for people. Many people can only walk to a store or ride their bike. I thank you for your videos and giving honest reviews.
Very true. I live right down the road from a housing apartment for elderly and disabled and only about half a block away is Dollar Tree. There are a lot of people that walk there and back to get there groceries and household supplies.
The only advantage to going there is that their stores are smaller and if you don’t have a lot of energy they can be easier to get around in. And usually park pretty close to the entrance as well, at least around where I live.
The caned of jalapeños are delicious, I put them in a Mason jar and add celery, carrots, bell peppers to make them hot, spicy pickled vegetables 😋. Thank you for sharing prices at Dollar Tree. Have a blessed New Year 🙏 . ❤🎉
Thank you for all this coverage, I rely on Dollar Tree for so much, starting with greeting cards, and gift wrap/bags. and then to other items in cleaning products for really saving money1
@tlo3571 Well it's still good to know prices and size when comparing, some stores are better priced for certain things and you can other things priced better in another store. Plus there are people who just want to shop at one store only for convenience. Dollar Tree, Aldi, and Walmart are my favorite's .
As we get older, and we cook less and less, the smaller sizes come in handy. Like the Goya Corn meal. (We use it to thicken things like soups or Chili). It is just a shame that in a regular store a smaller portion is oftentimes more than a regular sized item. And since its the elderly that will buy the smaller size, they really are scre*ing over the seniors.
I was in Denver last month and got to go to one of the biggest Dollar Trees i had ever seen. I got a bunch of stuff! The only thing I was bummed about was the boxed milk. Not only was it smaller in size, it tastes awful now. It had been a very long time since i was able to get any as i am hours away from their stores, but i truly noticed a flavor difference. I will use it for coffee and cooking, but no more drinking it cold from the fridge. I will be making the 7 hour trip to Denver again in a few weeks for my Dr. and do definitely plan on going back. I can't beat the prices compared to my expensive part of the mountains of Colorado. Thank you Danno! Here is to an amazing 2025 for you and Jess!❤🎉❤
I'm old enough to remember when a box of Morton salt was (wait for it) FIVE CENTS!!! I like Dollar tree and lucky enough to have one in my small town. A tin of sardines was ten cents. A can of tuna fish was 15 cents. Those were the days. :)
Yesterday I bought what i thought were their cheapy knit gloves. Which was ok for what i needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The inside was lined with like sweat shirt material. Very nice surprise. Wish i would have bought more to give away.
I wonder if the closure of Big Lots is effecting what's getting into DT now... maybe some of those food items are making it's way into these stores... possible perhaps 🤔
As much as I don’t like the higher prices, I’m very pleased with how they’ve been labeling the shelves and products to make prices clear, plus having price checkers. When 99 cents only stores here in CA switched to a multi price model, the prices were completely unclear on lots of things which I think was a first step towards their downfall.
Happy New Year to everybody. I am actually good with the small pack of sugar. That is more than I would use in a year, but it is nice to have for some recipes that just need a tsp full or whatever. Also the boxes are that way for stocking efficiency. The Dollar Tree is till a great source for savings, and I hope they don't end up like Dollar General where the prices are the same as regular stores. Crystal hot sauce is not some low end knockoff. It is what Texas Pete, Louisiana, Frank's etc... wish they were making.
But! 😀 Stored properly, sugar, salt, and a few other things really don't ever go bad. So, it really is worth it to buy these things in bulk. You can portion out into smaller containers at home.
I'm not surprised by changes at Dollar Tree. They bought Family Dollar and little by little have been closing some, so offering what was sold there (minus $1 items). And I understood just the price increase to $1.25 on many things. It may be a "test" but in what was my favorite store closest to me (a smaller one) they eliminated a lot of items I'd been buying for years and took up room with higher-priced things (not in the "plus" section). Most of the food items shampoos, etc. were/are not good deals compared to local grocery stores. I do compare prices and watch grocery ads, and get better deals on many things elsewhere, but Dollar Tree still has good deals, and I've learned that different stores in my area have different things. I was just checking today on some things I want to stock given coming higher prices, etc., and will buy some at DT. I love the jasmine rice, and it's more healthful than others and easy to add to.
Most churches have Pantry’s here in NJ and you do not have to be a participant of the church. Please try them all. I volunteered in one where I used to live. Today they are much better. 😊😊
I just watched you for the first time today. Did you notice the cherry pie filling for $1.25. It's almost $3.00 at most grocery stores. Sometimes they have apple pie filling as well.
I agree. I tried the Spanish rice. It was terrible! I threw it out. It's made in India! I tried the Mexican rice and this time followed the instructions on the package. It was ok, but I could only eat half the package, a little too spicy for me, and didn't like it overall. Threw the other half of the package out. Also, made in India. Yuck.
as a single guy i like a lot of dollar tree stuff. Stuff like tiny salad dressing and ketchup at a 1.25 name brand name is great for me cause the big ones can go bad.
Thank you for such an in-depth video! Every time I watch other vid's similar to yours I find myself yelling at my screen...."No, wait go back, go back! Dang I really wanted to see that!" But you do a great job at showing so many of their products I think I only said "Go back!"one time. And, lol, you must have heard me bc you did indeed go back! Love it! I don't think I have ever seen our DT have this many products, you have a huge variety. Do you live in a large town? As for DT spices I have used them for years, they are perfectly fine and so much cheaper then other stores. Although Aldi's does have good spice prices they don't have as large a selection. The laundry soaps I don't care to much for but some cleaning products such as the purple one are very good! Grab up some pine cleaner while you can bc everyone is buying it up bc they are slowly learning my secret! Pssst....Come closer.... Rodents are repelled by the scent of pine! You can even place those little car fresheners around to repel them, just make sure your pets can't get to them! In NM they put the pine tree car fresheners under the hood of their cars so the squirrel's and rats don't make nests out of their motor wires! Sadly while we were there we found this out to late and had a car sitting all winter and the motor was destroyed! But back home in Indiana my house was sitting empty so it got over ran with mice! I cleaned and sprayed Pinesol, yes it must be PINE scented everywhere and the mice just packed up their tiny little suitcases and fled into the night, never to return! Good riddance! Anyway, that's my tip for the day! And for the record the syrup at DT is terrible! But those mint cookies!!! Yummy!!! Thank you again for doing this. I liked and subbed. Glad I found your channel!!!🎉Woohoo 🎉 Sincerely, Kel's Crochet Corner ❤
That butternut squash soup on the shelf looks so good, and only $1.25! I hope they get that at my Dollar tree. That kind of thing is around $3 at most stores.
So is the DOLLAR TREE going to change there name. They are no longer the $1.00 store. Some things are good but the praises are going up. I use to shop $20.00 now I walk out $40.00. Not good.😢
Greetings from Omaha, Nebraska, and Happy New Year to all! I recently tried the Dishwasher Packs 35ct @ Dollar $1.25 Tree, and I must say, they are awesome. If you don't have the budget for Cascade Pods or Finish Pods, which can be quite pricey, this product is definitely worth a try. For just $1.25, you can't beat it. The pack I used did a wonderful job-my glass bowls came out sparkling clean, and my silverware was sparkling clean as well.
I'll tell you what I think about the higher priced items at the Dollar Tree..I hate it. My store is so small and the higher priced items are taking up shelf space for the $1.25 items. Not a fan here, that's for sure!
Totally agree. I have lost about 4-5 of my favorite necessities for that fluff-filled aisle. It's a waste of space in a store people really count on around here.
Small portions at dollar tree are also good for camping trips, doesn't take up much room and you don't have to worry about if it gets to hot and throwing it out.
The shelves seem to be stocked with the foods I avoid. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, and so does avoiding soybean oil, monosodium glutamate, and glycerol Esther of wood rosin!
I am too far to go to Walmart. I buy all my garbage bags, qt. and gallon bags, Awesome spray cleaner, batteries. I usually go every other month. I see a lot of seniors buying food and children buying toys.
My daughter did a charcuterie and had meats and cheese and fruits and needed some sweet to add.She filled in with dollar tree peanut brittle.I have to say it was as good as my moms homemade.
Happy New Year Danno and Jessica.l love dollar tree.when your old and on a fixed income it sure helps when they keep raising prices and the sizes of the items.
Where I live we don't get coffee like that. It would sell like crazy here. I'm not a tuna person in a can. We don't get a lot of items like I've seen in other stores. All of it would sell in a heart beat. Thank you for showing these items. 😊😊
I also prefer the Hunts spaghetti sauce over Ragu and others. My daughter began using Classico, and now I prefer that. But Hunts is good if you don't have other choices for spaghetti sauce.

I feed the bread to the birds outside! They love it!
I ben feeding my outside birds for 8 years, in the evening I pay cat food, cookies and water outside for the raccoons and opossums
@ I also feed a cat!
I would get that sugar or other staples because sometimes you just need a little and don’t want to buy a bigger amount at a better deal.
But! 😀 Stored properly, sugar, salt, and a few other things really don't ever go bad. So, it really is worth it to buy these things in bulk. You can portion out into smaller containers at home.
@@luckylunaloopsIF you have the space for that. Not everyone does.
Love your videos, it has Really helpful.Happy New Year.
They have good managers in that store, Danno. Port closures, winter weather...they are doing a good job by their customers.
I liked the cilantro rice that was scanned by during video
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM CANADA ! HAVE THE BEST FOR 2025

These small items are perfect for our camper
I am new to this channel but I subscribed because I enjoyed this tour.
I subscribed to you. This was the 1st time I watched you. You do a great job!
The Nature Valley Honey Blueberry yogurt toppers are very tasty and a great deal for $1.25.
Here's to hoping the new year will start to bring lower prices and that the world is better. ❤
😂😂😂
What a naive comment 😢
@JAB6656 and what a downer you are.
Most churches have Pantry’s here in NJ and you do not have to be a participant of the church. Please try them all. I volunteered in one where I used to live. Today they are much better. 😊😊
Happy New Year 🎊
I just watched you for the first time today. Did you notice the cherry pie filling for $1.25. It's almost $3.00 at most grocery stores. Sometimes they have apple pie filling as well.
Nature valley yogurt toppers...add raisins....
TRAIL MIX.
Some of those off-brand food items are terrible. Full of ingredients I can't even pronounce.
Yuck.
I got Idahoan potatoes family size the night before Thanksgiving for .10 each!
That was a steal!
as a single guy i like a lot of dollar tree stuff. Stuff like tiny salad dressing and ketchup at a 1.25 name brand name is great for me cause the big ones can go bad.
Hi, fellow Coconut Allergy sufferer! I feel you!
The crystal hot sauce is good we usually buy it
Thank you for such an in-depth video!
Glad I found your channel!!!🎉Woohoo 🎉
Sincerely, Kel's Crochet Corner ❤
So many things that is at your store that i wished was in my area
One thing I always buy at dollar tree is olives.Any kind of olives. You'll never find a better price.
I always buy the Chicken a Rice from Dollar Tree. Nothing like it when your sick.
Thank you!
Good morning, Omaha. That is my "hometown" born and raised. I see that the Zoo is still award winning. I need to come back and visit again.
Thank you. I didn’t know they had them. I will try it.
I like them too! Read elsewhere they are name brands that didn’t meet quality standards to be sold under their pricier label.
This is good to know. Thank you for sharing!
I buy very little food at Dollar Tree because so much of it is over processed, and loaded with sugar and lots of chemicals. Not healthy in any way.
Dollar Tree English Muffins are good, better than Aldi
They are good
I love the peanut butter and honey spread
My daughter did a charcuterie and had meats and cheese and fruits and needed some sweet to add.She filled in with dollar tree peanut brittle.I have to say it was as good as my moms homemade.
Its so thin and crispy ❤
I’ve wondered if it’s good, thanks!
Happy New Year Danno and Jessica.l love dollar tree.when your old and on a fixed income it sure helps when they keep raising prices and the sizes of the items.
Grape Nuts cereal
Great yogurt topper!!
Chia seeds too!
Shrinkflated! Lol
Ugh it’s like chewing on gravel.
Happy New Year Danno and Jess!!!
Where I live we don't get coffee like that. It would sell like crazy here. I'm not a tuna person in a can. We don't get a lot of items like I've seen in other stores. All of it would sell in a heart beat. Thank you for showing these items. 😊😊
The Brunswick tuna salad is very good. I take them to work often!
I love the chicken
this is a very nice DT store! well stocked.
Sadly it is not Dollar Tree anymore. They should change their company name.
Happy New Year! Thanks for showing items you like.
Thank you for the food reviews also
Just wait til the tariffs kick in lmao
And ppl were going crazy about the price of eggs. Just wait as prices are going to keep going up and up.
I like the hunts spaghetti sauce we like chef boy r dee they are pretty good and ingredients are mostly all natural when I last checked 😊
I also prefer the Hunts spaghetti sauce over Ragu and others. My daughter began using Classico, and now I prefer that. But Hunts is good if you don't have other choices for spaghetti sauce.
WE WOULD HAVE TO LOOK 👀 AT THE INGREDIENTS THEN WE CAN SAY 😃🌷
Thanks for sharing happy new years 🎉🎉
Hit the dollar tree near Cherry Grove ......a fantastic experience ...shopping was never more fun 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you, Happy New Year's to you as well🎉.
Hi, I'm new to your channel.👋
I've started to look at the food section of my Dollar Tree stores. I love that Dollar Tree is starting to carry gluten-free food. I'm diabetic and celiac. The prices I have to pay for food now have at least doubled. Thanks for highlighting the gluten-free pasta. Anytime I can save some money helps. I enjoy your comments and thoughts. You and Jess have a new subscriber. 😀🕊
HAPPY NEW YEAR, DANNO.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL Y'ALL YOU TUBERS !
Who all loves the small mayo jars so you always have fresh mayo on hand for a sandwich?
Happy New Year! Love to all. ❤
My husband and I do the same thing with the sparkling grape juices on New Years. I started when the oldest had friends over for New Years Eve. The kids that it was really cool.
Great video thank you!
Thank you Danno ❤️✝️ Happy New Year to All 🎊
Happy New Year everyone
