- Peter Parker's lab partner Christina reads his mind with her new invention: an ESP crown. The crown malfunctions, jolting her own brain with electricity and altering her sanity. No longer able to distinguish fantasy from reality, Christina attempts to kill M.J. in order to limit the competition for Spider-Man's eternal affection.

Neil Patrick Harris, Ian Ziering and Lisa Loeb lend their vocal talents to the new animated TV version of the comic book classic and hit feature film Spider-Man. Bitten by an irradiated spider, teenager Peter Parker gains arachnid-like powers that make him both a hero to those in need and a vigilante wanted by the police. Endowed with superhuman strength and reflexes, the ability to cling to surfaces, spin spider-like webs, and possessing a sixth sense for danger, Peter struggles for the understanding of the public and his friends as he works to balance college life with the responsibility to exercise his strange and wonderful powers for good.

never thought Tara Strong voiced a character on this show.
No surprise really. The field of voice actor is filled with Nepotism, meaning Tara is a shoe in for many spots. It's also why she is a massive narcissist these days.
@@EmptyMan000 not gonna lie whenever I look up her Facebook or see her on media these days she really loves most about her voice acting as well as how hot she is. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing but at the same time it’s like dude you don’t have to keep doing it. You have people who love your voice work or even idolize you stop smearing it every week.

At some point when anyone gets to that level of praise, They make sure they double down on being the first name you say/remember, she pushes to be the top voice actor over her colleagues and friends. Like Lebron effect. I guess I’m getting sick of how her Harley and other older characters are starting to get a more high pitched and baby inflection.
Instead talking bad about Tara, no one mentions she voices MJ in Ultimate Spider-Man
Honestly, I like the plot of this episode. It's kind of goofy, but there are real demented stalkers out there that cross lines every day, so this isn't all that implausible as a threat Spidey (and MJ) would face.
Cartoons from the 2000s had a coozy feeling miss them.
Christina looks and sounds like Penelope Spectra from Danny Phantom
Ember MacLain, too. Because they're all voiced by Tara Strong.

This show basically felt like an attempt to do for Spider-Man what the Armored Adventures series did for Iron Man. Except, I think the technology lent itself better to the concept when Iron Man did it. As entertaining and well-written as MTV's Spidey could be, I have to admit that the animation not only showed its age. It's impossible for me to completely ignore it.
Now..A Few Things i'd like to Point Out from this Episode of Spider-Man TNAS...
1. What sort of Syndrome do you think Christina might've been suffering from if she had THAT bad of an obsession with Spidey..?😰😰😰😰😰
2. What is it with these Super-Villainous pinheads..?..Just cuz Peter takes his pictures doesn't mean he knows where he is...😏😏😏😏😏

1. She may have originally suffered from something like schizophrenia, anxiety or personality disorder, autism spectrum disorder. An electric shock to the brain could have made some of this worse.
2. This is just comic book logic, because the plot needs to happen somehow. But if you wish, you can perceive this as the logic of Christina’s sick consciousness.
3. In my humble opinion, Christina is somewhat similar to Debra Whitman. Besides comics, she was also in SM TAS 1994.
