  • Taman Botani Putrajaya telah dianugerahkan sebagai Taman Paling Menakjubkan di Asia oleh Yayasan Chelsea Diraja, London di Pameran Bunga Perdana Premier Dunia Chelsea pada 2008. Taman Botani juga juga tersenarai di antara 40 taman yang indah dan mempersonakan di Asia oleh buku Paradise Found: Journeys Through Noble Gardens of Asia. Fasa 1 yang berkonsepkan “floral atrractions” menghimpunkan lebih dari 750 spesies tumbuhan dari 13 koleksi tema tumbuhan yang berasal dari benua-benua yang berbeza.
    Menempatkan juga Islamic Garden iaitu Moroccan Pavilion yang dibina bercirikan warisan Maghribi dan kesenian senibinanya diinspirasikan dari bandar Dirajanya seperti Fez, Meknes, Marrakech dan Rabat. Taman Etnobotani yang merupakan tarikan terkini untuk bersantai dan berpeluang mengenali banyak tumbuhan yang menarik. Etnobotani merujuk kepada kajian interaksi antara manusia dan tumbuhan yang melibatkan pelbagai aspek perubatan, sumber makanan, ekonomi dan budaya.
    Taman ini dibahagikan kepada lapan tema botani iaitu Malaysian Ulam and Medicinal, Bambusetum, Zingiberales, Edible Fruit Arboretum, Lawn and Gramineae, Forest Fringe and Aboriginal Medicinal Plants, Conservatory and Ecological Pond. Keindahan taman ini terletak di kawasan hijau yang menghadap tasik menjadikan pengunjung terpesona melalui unsur-unsur kebudayaan yang digabungkan dalam reka bentuk seperti wakaf tradisional, lampu taman bermotifkan bunga dan label saintifik tumbuh-tumbuhan.

    A botanical garden in Presint 1, Putrajaya, Malaysia. The garden spans over an area of 93 hectares, it is divided into five sections, which are the explorer's trail, palm hill, floral gardens, sun garden and lakeside.
    The Putrajaya Botanical Garden was conferred as one of Asia’s Most Amazing Garden by the Royal Chelsea Foundation, London at the World Premier Royal Chelsea Flower Show in 2008.The Botanical Garden is also listed among the 40 beautiful and fun parks in Asia by the book Paradise Found: Journeys Through Noble Gardens of Asia. Phase 1, conceptualized "floral attractions" brings together more than 750 plant species from 13 collections of plant themes coming from different continents.
    It also houses the Moroccan Pavilion Islamic Garden, which is characterized by Moroccan heritage and its art-inspired architecture inspired by its towns like Fez, Meknes, Marrakech and Rabat. Ethnobotanical Park which is the latest attraction to relax and be able to recognize many interesting plants. Ethnobotany refers to the study of interactions between humans and plants involving various aspects of medicine, food sources, economics and culture.

    It features a fully plant-decorated Explorer's Trail, Canopy Bridge. The visitor track will take you down trails with different plants - including Heliconea Trail and Vine Garden, Plam Hill, Sun Garden (Orchid Path), Tropical African Collection, Bougainvillea Tunnel, Floral Garden (Floral Steps, African Collection, Asia Pacific Collection, Ficus Shace, Rain shelter) and Lakeside (Hibiscus Walk), Fern Garden and Pandanus Walk. It also houses a Lakeside café where you can take a break for a cup of tea.
    The park is divided into eight botanical themes: Malaysian Ulam and Medicinal, Bambusetum, Zingiberales, Edible Fruit Arboretum, Lawn and Gramineae, Forest Fringe and Aboriginal Medicinal Plants, Conservatory and Ecological Pond. The beauty of this park is located in a green area overlooking the lake which makes visitors fascinated by cultural elements incorporated in designs such as traditional wakaf, flower-theme park lighting and plant-based scientific labels.

    it seems to me this Taman Botani is in desperate needs of trimming and general tiding up.. do something ''now'' so embarrassing..
