Firstly take 20 mins, juggle with it. Put your all effort into it. Then see the explanation. It might happen that you will not be able to do the first 4-5 sets. But slowly and gradually, you will start grasping the techniques and logics of the questions.

Paper ka medium toh English hai. Aur iss exam mein 3 section hote hai jismein ek section English ka hi hota hai. Toh kitna tough ho sakta hai wo aapko kitni English aati hai uspr depend krega. Baanki aage ki padhai v MBA ki Puri English mein hi hogi.

I am also from Hindi Medium but i scored CAT Overall 76.33%ile 85.75%ile in VARC ,88.80%ile In Quant and 10.78%ile in DILR(Because I think this is lack of practice i solve around 200 sets last year 60 own my own). But this year 50 Done 600-750 is left to solve. 800 sets is the main goal. Last year I am Suffering from Severe Servical Spondylosis that is whh i was not able to focus much on CAT prepration in last 3 month. But no issiue if health is Okay ,something magical is going to happen. There are no passing marks as such. Sectional cut off hote hai wo clear Krna hota hai And then aapko aache marks aayenge toh aachi percentile banegi and then you will get calls from colleges.

Yes, you can clear the exam in 5 months but that depends on you totally. I gave approx 60 mocks. Coz mocks are the smart way to prepare well for the exam and to improve your score given that you analyse your mocks well.

Hi Sunganthan First of all, thanks 😊 And secondly to answer your question, I can tell you for this year. What's gonna happen next year, no one knows. So this year, I have seen people getting calls even at 90- 91 percentile but they had somewhat good profiles. For sure shot call, I guess you should aim for percentile above 94-95 . You will surely get a call according to this year's trend.

During my college days, I did 3-4 internships and was also part of the College organising committee. Then I had a workex of 6 months. I had worked with 2 NGOs I Co-authored 2 novels as well . I also did 2-3 certifications. Also, I wrote RUclips in my SOP, because I started back in November,2020. You can also do these many things to build your CV. BTW, if you want to know more about it, a video is upcoming, maybe another week. So stay tuned.
No. You can sit for this exam as a fresher as well. In fact as a fresher, you can get BLACKI at 96-97%ile. One of my friends converted to IIM Indore back in 2022, as a fresher with 96%ile only.

For this, you need to answer a lot of questions. Like your scholastic achievements, co-curricular activities, honours and awards, strength and weakness. Why do you want to do an MBA. What is your short term and long term goal. When you answer these things, you will be able to write a SOP.
Yess, it is important. Many people get Pre placement offers in the internship only. And then, they don't have to juggle with the interview rounds in the final placement. Also, what role and what company did you have for your internship matters a lot because on the basis of that your final placement happens. I am joining IIM Mumbai on 7th June this year. I have not done an internship yet.

How to read a newspaper, like do we have to just read it , or focus on the vocab and sentence formation or do we have to focus on headlines and learn it , can you suggest some tips on this
Sure. Firstly, read newspaper online, add a marker on your Google extension or something like that, so that you can highlight pr underline the words whose meaning you don't know. Then, gently read the newspaper to know the every days headlines. And at last, find the meaning of those words on write down somewhere, where you can see those words for atleast 10 times a day. Keep it there for a day or two. This way you will remember those words. So, in short, Do focus on vocab. And of course focus on headlines too, because later on, it would help you in PI .

Hello Divyanshi This can very well justify your gap year. But still if you think, You wanna add more to it. So you can join an NGO and be a passive volunteer. And then in the interview you can justify that from time to time you were there with the team to volunteer. As every NGO nowadays has their own WhatsApp group and from there you can learn what all events and drive they are conducting.

See your profile is average . And will you be able to make it to any IIM, is dependent on so many factors like Cat percentile, your static and dynamic profile, your PI and others. So, if you are able to score above 98%ile, you will absolutely get calls from so many IIMs. Worry not and just put your heart into the prep and target 99%ile, then only you will be able to land somewhere around it. Yess. This year, one of my friends was from the OBC category, he gave almost all the interviews, and couldn't convert any of them.

This can very well justify your gap year.
But still if you think, You wanna add more to it.
So you can join an NGO and be a passive volunteer.
And then in the interview you can justify that from time to time you were there with the team to volunteer.
As every NGO nowadays has their own WhatsApp group and from there you can learn what all events and drive they are conducting.
But then they woNt give us any certificates if we're just passively there. Should I do it without the certificate, will there be no such problem?

,Expecting 58% in graduation (From Political Science)
OBC category with no work ex.
I have a certificate in Scout and guide in My 10th School( 2 days Programme ) and also Completed 6 months DCA Course From Private Cyber Cafe (Diploma in Computer Application)
Does this Certificate will count my Profile?
And how much Percentile required For BLACKI IIMS ?

And will you be able to make it to any IIM, is dependent on so many factors like Cat percentile, your static and dynamic profile, your PI and others.
So, if you are able to score above 98%ile, you will absolutely get calls from so many IIMs.
Worry not and just put your heart into the prep and target 99%ile, then only you will be able to land somewhere around it.
