Unlike other instruments that have frets and are played by pressing the strings down with the fleshy pad of the finger, this is played by pushing the fingernail against the string and the stainless steel neck. It sounds entirely different than the sitar, guitar and any other instrument I have ever heard.

Unlike other instruments that have frets and are played by pressing the strings down with the fleshy pad of the finger, this is played by pushing the fingernail against the string and the stainless steel neck. It sounds entirely different than the sitar, guitar and any other instrument I have ever heard.
