  • Being active and exercising in pregnancy is not only safe but can have immense benefits. Unfortunately many women are sceptical of following an active lifestyle and exercising in pregnancy. In this video we talk about the benefits of exercise, when not to do the exercise and of course what exercises to do. Over and above these exercises, please include, walking, low impact exercises like yoga and pilates too . And always consult your doctor before starting any exercise regime.

    😬 there is one correction here! when squating, PLEASE do not squat on your toes alone! Squat with heels firm on ground or else you'll damage your knees with added weight of the baby! Moreover, real excercise of the pelvic area happens when you squat on full feet (with heels firm on ground) rather than just the toes. please be careful.

    Mam, can you please provide details on ovarian cyst during pregnancy, I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I had severe pain in pelvic when I underwent ultrasound scan , ovarian cyst of about 21cm is present on right ovary was noticed , I stay in Canada , doctor suggested to wait n watch , I’m not sure should I wait until I get pain , I’m kind of stressed everyday thinking what’s gone happen , any informative video will be very helpful

    Mam I stay with my husband away from my home that's why I do regular works like cooking, cleaning even cloth washing and I am perfectly alright.. thanks to you and my doctor to motivate me to work otherwise my relatives may have make me crazy with their don't list 😊

      Do exercise eat healthy food..n also take medicine what dr gave u...i have also thyroid problem from very early age like when i was 13/14 yrs old but at my 28 yrs old i conceive very easily.. Even me n my husband just try once n i become pregnant. Just ensure regular check up.n stay relax. Everything will be fine :)

      N funniest thing is when i was 18 yrs old dr told my mom pls get marry ur daughter early other wish it will be hard for her to get pregnant but i got married at 26 yrs.. I am thankful to my mom that she didnt force me to do marry. She always focus on my study n career.

      Always normal delivery was better for mother and child.. Unless you have any another medical conditions then you can opt for c-section. Otherwise try to go for normal delivery... Have a happy and safe pregnancy 🙏

    Hi, Dr. Anjali I hope you doing well. I am 26 week pregnant and my midwife told me that I have low lying placenta, there is no vasa praevia but she suggested me that not to worry because it's very common 80 percent women can recover from this.
    I just want to know that any exercise for this or any precaution which i have to take care?

    Sorry to say, but firsrly you yourself being an instructor are over weight and how do you expect other to get motivated by you. And the workout you have shown seems you are making a very sick person start being active after she was bedridden for several years. Kindly check online videos of international women. I guess our Indian women are more active then them.

    I em pcod patient.. Taking clomid from 2 months.. this month i also took duphaston frm cd 18 til 27.. After delay of 2 days i got bad cramping with brown discharge i just thought it's start of my periods.. Now i hv brown discharge from 3 days nd not normal periods.. Am i pregnant? Or should i move to 3rd round of clomid.. Please help 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Ma'am I would like know your opinion about pursuing medicine after graduation..one of cousins started her career in medicine after graduation at 23 .this is not the way to pursue medicine in india .specially in case of girls it's definitely not preferred. How do u see this as to be..... for the fact of being a girl it doesn't seem very healthy for career as well as family.
    How would u review it

      What?? Being a woman is never a barrier to being a good professional. I always believe that if someone is determined to do something good in her career, she is bound to do so and Almighty will help her manage that. My sister-in-law, an engineer, has passed civil service examination with three kids. I have passed my post grad in Surgery after marriage too, I don't understand what the problem is here.

      @@durdanasmou983 u r absolutely right ma'am....and this is something I want to go with....many girls do not pursue medicine as their career after graduation just bcz they are forced to think that age is a constraint.....
      But the trend in US is only graduates can pursue medicine.....which is completely denied in India.

    Mam please make a video about lean PCOD.
    I am a patient of PCOD. But I don't have any issue of over weight. Even rarely I gain weight. I was under medication from 2016 December....but still if I don't take medicine then this issue arise again.
    And because of it I get frustrated and decided to stop taking pills from January 2020. I like to do exercise. So I started. Period comes... at first every 2 months gap....& Then 1.5 months gap.
    But suddenly I realised that I lost so much weight again. So I stopped it from March 2021. And then again problem begins......
    And after that I heard about lean PCOD at youtube.
