You had to see the world cup we just had it was the most dramatic spotlrting event ever. You see messi won everything in football and was already treated like a god but the only thing he never won was a world cup which is the hardest and most precious title in football. Everyone thought messi has missed his chance in 2014 and would never be able to win it but he did it in december in his last world cup at the age of 35 while being the best player in the tournament. And now football has an undisputed goat

true, Pele and Maradona were great players but they played football in a different era where football was in slower pace and less pressure, u can see now whenever Messi has the ball at least 4 players surround him and play tough faults against him,
Attacking play has never been as easy as it is today! Defending is all but banned, it's almost a no contact sport now! Pele could do everything that Messi does, at a time of awful pitches, hard heavy balls, thick heavy rigid boots and most significantly when defenders were absolutely brutal. Even though only 30% of his games were even recorded, you can still find footage of Pele doing all of what Messi does and more! Messi definitely the best of this era but Pele still the KING of football. I understand why young people say it's Messi but that's because they did not experience Pele!

It's great you're now catching up. You've watched Neymar, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and you'll get to see more players too, but without question Messi is the GOAT.
