This song has become an important part of my weekly routine. I plan my week (I’m in college for electrical engineering; it can be very stressful and overwhelming) in a planner every week on Sunday night at the same time, and listen to this song. It always takes me the exact duration of the song to do. This song helps me not get overwhelmed while I think about all my responsibilities for the entire week, which I only do that one time a week. So thanks! This music has genuinely made a measurable improvement on my mental health. Good stuff

Amazing to hear that, I won’t be ashamed to say right now I’m enjoying this song while smoking some opioids, I have trauma and I really need proper therapy, but music is extremely soothing and therapeutic in its own right; especially nostalgic music from the game that popped my Zelda cherry (DX) I was going Biochem in university but I had tons of issues external and internal, I really hope I can get my life in order and got back to school Perhaps for psychology as I’ve stumped professionals and have decades of lived experience; of course I still want to do some BioChem; researching psychs would be amazing as they have helped me a lot, feels like the world doesn’t want me when I have to break the law to treat myself My cousin lives making music and is a huge fan of Koji Kondo, (sorry if butchered) maybe I could borrow his studio I’m not musically talented but emotional and verbal so perhaps I could make some hypnosis/ASMR stuff Sorry for ranting stressful week, glad to here you have a successful career and life cherish it everyday the world can be cruel. This song has stuck with me from a VERY young age (about 3 or 4). I could never get past the first puzzle in the forest so my main mission was the very first mission when you look for the sword and this was the track that played. Despite seeing very little of the "story," i had a great time just wandering around the chunk of the world left to me and just getting familiar with my surroundings. So this game is still a classic to me despite my limited time with it. Its one of the first games i ever played and my first exposure to Zelda.
Ok, I listened to it. I gotta say, I absolutely _adore_ the 8-Bit in this one. It adds so much flavor and still allows for a soothing remix. The way fairy fountain was implemented supplemented everything, and this remix is the best that you've come out within a while. Going to enjoy listening to this non-stop in my playlist.
I adore Link's Awakening. It's my second favorite Zelda game under Wind Waker. The soundtrack is so unique and full of heart. Qumu, you constantly bring new life to my favorite songs of all time. I'm excited every time you upload.

It's one of the earliest games I've ever played, and being a dumb 5 year old kid I spent a long, LONG time trying to find the sword, so this music was a decent little chunk of my childhood and sill the song I associate with this game the most. Yeah, even more than the Ballad of the Wind Fish. Everything seems better through the lens of nostalgia, but you've created a remix that's so majestic and ethereal. This video is how I remember the song when I try to look back and remember simpler times. Thank you.

I love this song so much. It’s so nuanced in the various emotions it portrays throughout the motion of the music. The fact that Qumu was able to extrapolate so much from a dueling melody chiptune track from a GameBoy game is amazing.

Couldn't decide between multiple different styles and moods, but then it kinda just hit me that I could keep both "versions" of the song as long as I just made the transition gradual enough ^^ I know it's probably silly, but that transition between swingy lofi and straight vaporwave is probably one of the things I've made in music that I'm most proud of ^^;

This is simply amazing and true to the original. You started with the 8-bit analog sounds that slowly transition toward more modern synthesizers. You also included in the Fairy Fountain Song @1:13, listening to it for days now.

This is a great song and brings me back to the time I first started to watch chuggaaconroy, I didn’t know anything about the Zelda games so when I watched this I just sat in aw and now when it gets released I’m so excited to actually play the game and I’ll probably have this remix playing in the background while playing the game
