I really like how Bobby placed a lot of emphasis on networking. "It's a value exchange". In order to receive value you have to add value also. Networking and that value exchange has helped me in my start in tech.
What stuck with me was when Mr Bobby said… “you sell the journey but not the reality!” after this I connected with him and had a coaching call with him ❤
This was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I was mad when it ended! I need to connect with this guy asap because he GETS IT!! That last segment about knowing why you chose the role you chose and making sure you’re going to be passionate about it was soooo good!! I literally just had that conversation today so I know this was for me!

I think in software engineering, for sure those who are passionate will out last those in it for the money. In other jobs in tech, it's just like any other job, get in it for the money and be good at it
