SMALL DOG: Loose Lead Walk

Can we drop/throw food?
This is the early development phase of the LLW.
✅ Short answer is yes providing we have very strong conditioned markers.
✅ The LLW training process should only be started once your dog has basic, but good foundation skills (sit/drop/conditioned markers/highly valued reward/basic leash skills).
✅ We break the walk down into two phases. Either a LLW on the handlers left or free time (dog can explore and sniff). We switch between the exercises pending on where we are walking at the time.
EXAMPLES:
Busy street = loose lead on left
Quiet area = free time
