    A review of my visit to Xenses Park near Playa Del Carmen.
    About Xenses:
    Xenses is an experiential amusement park located in the Riviera Maya of Mexico. It features activities, attractions, and illusions which are designed to stimulate or challenge your senses, beliefs, and emotions. It's unlike any other eco park in the Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Riviera Maya, or Tulum areas of Mexico. Xenses is one of the newer parks by Grupo Xcaret, which operates several tours and parks in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
    Before my visit, I wasn't sure of what to expect from this park. I was pleasantly surprised by Xenses & I really enjoyed my visit. It's a great park for those who want to do something new & different. It doesn't take too much time out of your day, and isn't physically demanding or tiring, I recommend Xenses for people of all ages. I made this video to show you what to expect, and also give you some tips to help you get the most out of your visit.
    If you have any questions about Xenses, leave a comment below and I'll respond.

    My wife and I are traveling to Xenses in November as part of a cruise, and we've seen a number of videos about the park. Yours is by FAR the best of them. Informative, well laid out, great video and imagery, and your running commentary intelligently expresses the point of the park and really got us excited about our shore excursion. Thank you, this was really well done!

      Thank you so much for your kind words! I loved Xenses and I enjoy making these videos, so I really appreciate it. I think Xenses is ideal for a cruise since it's not too long, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did.

    I just came from Cancun. My family and I loved Xenses. The xensatorium was so trippy. My 81 yr old mom did it. I got vertigo in the Pueblo.
    Great review of the park.

      @@AuntLALA makes sense. The news coming out of Quintana Roo sounds good as far as COVID is concerned, so I think you'll be visiting at a good time. Just take some precautions to protect yourself and others, and do a quick check to learn about the government safety measures before you leave.

    Great video and very informative! We are going to visit this park next week with a toddler 🙄 Not sure how we going to do the water activities? Do you have to go through each activity in order to get to the next one, or you can pick and skip?

    • @TulumToCancun
      @TulumToCancun  3 года назад +2

      Silviya Balc some of the activities like the rivers, zip lines and water slide are in order, so you’ll do one and move to the next, but they have a bypass for all activities, so you can skip any activity you want.

    How much is the picture package and does the package include your groups' photos? My husband and I are thinking about doing this but didn't want to have to purchase two packages.

    • @TulumToCancun
      @TulumToCancun  4 года назад

      You don't have to purchase two photo packages. You can just purchase it for one person, and then that person will do the scanning required for the photos, that way all your photos will be under one account. The regular cost is US$59, you can see the latest prices on the Xenses website, the link is in my video description.

    Once you purchase your ticket do you have to pay for each individual activity as well? Or does the admission wristband give you access to everything? Thank you for your amazing detailed reviews! This trip will be my first time traveling outside of the US so I'm really excited and want to know as much as I can.

    • @TulumToCancun

    The weather report said that it's going to thunderstorm that day, since it seems a lot of the activities are indoors, will the park still be open in the midst of a thunderstorm? Fingers crossed that it's not going to be a big one.

    I see people wearing shorts and shirts in the town and other such areas, but bathing suits in the water areas. How do you go from each activity while changing clothes? Can you use your cell phone for pictures in the non water areas? If so, is there a place to store your phone and other items when it is time to do the water slide, mud slide, etc?

    • @TulumToCancun
      @TulumToCancun  4 года назад +2

      They have places to store your shoes while you do some of the activities, so some people left their clothes there with their shoes. The lockers are by the pinwheel, so if you need to lock up your valuables, you'll need to return to your locker. I'd recommend going around the park in your bathing suit so that you don't have to go back and forth to change. As for your phone, you can use a waterproof case so that you can bring it along with you, or use a GoPro that can get wet. Otherwise, I'd suggest leaving your electronics in your locker and getting the photo package so that you don't need to worry about valuables.

    I like challenging myself to these types of things but 3 of the 6 impact my inner ear. Really wish they had a half day pass so I could just do the 3 that won't trigger that physical reaction. :(

    Heyyy !! Would you say it’s wheelchair accessible?

    • @TulumToCancun
      @TulumToCancun  4 года назад +1

      Melliand X Hey, I think most of the activities may not be accessible (or difficult to use) with a wheelchair so it would limit the number of activities you can participate in, so you won’t get the full experience. Their contact info is on the Xenses site so you can double check with their reps. I’d recommend Xcaret Park instead, the majority of that huge park is accessible to those in a wheelchair so they can still get the full experience. Hope that helps!

    I was checking the prices on their website. The photo package which is around $27 for the group. If you buy the photo package does this give you all the photos you take or is the charge only the use of their cameras? Would I have to then buy the pictures I want for an additional charge or do I get all the photos I take? I want to make sure I have many photos and I would prefer to not have to carry my phone. Thanks.

      Get the photopass as a group when you buy all your tickets, or at the park. You can take unlimited photos. If you buy the photopass before you go, or first thing when you enter the park, you can let them know who is in your group. ALL the photos you took will be available to download online. Hope that helps, enjoy your visit!

    Hi, based on the experience you think it's safe for pregnant women? Besides the flying and water slide...

    • @TulumToCancun
      @TulumToCancun  3 года назад

      I guess it depends on how far along you are, and how easily you get nauseous, some of the attractions can make people nauseous. I can’t answer that question for you but I hope that helps you decide. Have you considered Xel-Ha instead? You can have a relaxed day and swim in the calm waters.

      Leo who? Xcaret is one of the greatest and safest hotels and parks in the entire world. It would be very difficult to find any attraction themed park in the world where someone hasn’t unfortunately died. Kids die at normal parks in your neighborhood just by falling and hitting their head or many other possibilities. Unfortunately you can’t stop every bad thing from happening. I feel for his family though but to make it seem like the park is a bad park because of that is just insane. It has over a million visitors every year and that is the only bad thing I have ever heard about it, the rest have been amazing.

      Millions visit the park, that is beyond unfortunate that happened and I’m sure the park lost a lot of money because of it. It was a beyond unfortunate mistake that lost a life because of it but you won’t find a single attraction park in the world that hasn’t had similar issues, it comes with the territory unfortunately because there are so many things to watch over and even the tiniest of things can go wrong. I feel for that family but that park is amazing just as all the other ones that are part of Xcaret and it will continue to do amazing and have millions of visitors.
