This resort is by far our favourite! We’ve been there 12 times and are welcomed by the staff like family , also there are shops and other restaurants only a few blocks from the resort! This was a great video , thanks for sharing 🇨🇦👍
LOL…this is definitely a quieter spot. There is a sports bar open late and easily walk into Puerto Aventuras but I think you might find more wildlife in Cancun!
Thanks for the video my friend. I will be there in July. One question, how do you go to playa del carmen? I saw that it is very close and has a lot of life. Thank you for your help. 🙏
Thanks for watching! The resort will be able to set you up with a text, or perhaps save a few pesos and walk less than one kilometre into town to hail one on demand. Check with the resort for other options.
Really enjoyed your video. From the Cancun airport to this resort what would you suggest for transportation? Did you use a shuttle? If so what company?
I generally will always take a private car or taxi. It’s expensive but my time is valuable and I hate stopping at every resort on the way. This resort has parking if you rent a car too. If travelling alone, the shuttle is your best bet. Just beware of all the hustlers at the airport and try to schedule something in advance. If you like to haggle, save a few bucks and negotiate at the airport…just know the cost first!
Taxis are expensive you dont need them anyways your room is not ready when you arrive until like 3-4pm i get a full package when i buy the tickets and when i get the van i give the guy 20$ and he wont wait he’ll just leave with you and thats it and youll be at your hotel in no time .. taxis i heard they are very expensive and you can also get kidnapped it depends on whos the passanger
It is a fair snorkel spot. The lagoon offers a nice place to get into the water without waves, however like most of the coast, bleached coral and minimal fish dominate the coast.
Unfortunately due to rising ocean temperatures and fertilizers emptying from rivers into the Gulf of Mexico, most of the East coast is full of sargassum. Ten years ago, this beach would have been crystal clear but is now representative of any typical Mexican Riviera beach.

Thanks for watching. It feels great when people who know these places comment. It is a great see pit and Puerto Aventuras is one of my favourites!
thanks~~
You are welcome!
Looks nice … I’m still more on the side of being in the woods away from crowds….
nice review !!
Thanks
Looks amazing
You would love it there!
Looks like a place for grandparents I'm looking for some wild nightlife

Thanks for the tip! Do you usually reserve in advance with the resort or a car service?
Did the gym have a weight room area or just the cardio equipment you showed?
Just the cardio 🙁
I would like to know if they serve drinks at the privileged pool or if you have to go to the bar for it
Yes if you tip well you will get great service. No tip, seldom served. The bartender is great so either way is not a problem
Hey, I’m staying here in a couple months, how much was the deposit? Thank you!!😊
Sorry I can’t recall. I did have to pay in full at check-in.
Is it a good snorkel spot?
It is a fair snorkel spot. The lagoon offers a nice place to get into the water without waves, however like most of the coast, bleached coral and minimal fish dominate the coast.
How was the beach? Swimmable? Rocky?
The prestige beach was pretty nice but the main beach was a little rocky. They clear the seaweed every day. As good as most Mayan resorts.
Are there any parties (beach or pool) and or a nightlife/club like option available at this resort? Or is this on the quieter side? Thank you!
I would say it’s on the quieter side but there is a sports bar open until 2am and short walk to bars in Puerto Aventuras so quite versatile.
Is the 9 hole golf course free for guest?
I don’t believe so but best to check with the resort
Where can we find the mobile app?
Hi, there is no mobile app but a mobile site that you can get from a QR code when you check in.
What room did you have? Thx
We had the privileged king suite
Is the water crystal clear and very pretty blue? 8:47 am

@@PapaSteveOnTheMove thank you
If you stay in a privileged room does that mean you get the privileged wristband?
Yes! Absolutely!
@@PapaSteveOnTheMove thank you! I appreciate the quick feedback.
If you are a beach person this resort is not for you.
Agreed! Beach is rocky and resort is in the town of Puerto Aventuras. Beach lovers may elect to seek a more remote location.
I beg to disagree. Worst food. Same food over and over. Rooms ok. not too great.
Sorry to hear about your experience. The Prestige area I stayed in was very nice.
