The Blackfeather Journey is designed and made by Joe Hunnicutt of Blackfeather Knives. He named it after his Daughter so you know it has to be a special design to him. After a mere 6 hours worth of use, my initial impression is that it is an excellent knife; in fact, it is an evolution or a game changing design in the world of smaller companion or EDC sized blades. The full review will be in about 3 or 4 weeks from now. I hope you enjoy!

Awww Yeah more Blackfeather goodness. Loving it.
I like it.
+PREPAREDMIND101 I knew you would ;)
I like this Joe! Nice small crafting knife! Nice to see you teaching your son early!
I am also impressed. High performance in a small knife. And man that ferro rod you use is a lighting bolt.
Oh man! This thing looks incredible.
Another outstanding knife... looks like The Legacy
Carlos Sepulveda I own 3 legacy's. so obviously I'm a fan of them. this is a totally different blade. Both are spectacular. Thanks for watching and for the comment!!
Joe and Joe for the win!
Dude with the binkie doing bushcraft. AWESOME! : )
Looks like a great EDC knife
joe well done and your lil boy looks just like you brother
POPPY DISTRESS15 lol he's my little fire buddy. thanks!!!
POPPY DISTRESS15 lol he's my little fire buddy. thanks!!!
Feral Woodcraft thays great my youngest lil girl is like that a fire lights and she is like a bug drowen to it but im the same way it puts us in a transe lol
awesomeness man great editing also!!!
Prepping for Beginners thank you Sir! I appreciate that.
Away Heah John, See this Journey has a finger choils that slightly raises the blade, just like on my Blind Horse Bushcrafter, For a straight edge, its works wood pretty good. Infact that's why I asked for a continuous curve on my 3V Skookum Bush Tool, and its one of my Favorite. Wood Craft Knives.,,.
Looks like an awesome knife!
thats a pretty mean lil blade! looking forward to your full review. great video as always!
your editing skills are awesome man! excellent first impressions on that knife
Looks like a great little knife thanks for sharing I appreciate and respect your review wish you all the best my friend until next time take care
Another great vid, thanks for sharing. Definitely have to check this out.
Very Nice, Joe.
I usually watch your videos, and could do without all the music and drama. I prefer your normal, thoughtful, calm approach.
😳 looks like a great knife
Very interesting. Please go over the sheath as well. Very important part of the tool IMO
Joe, that was a great vid. love the music
nice
Definately a want!
Awesome video man! Nice job!
It Looked like it did a great job Joe. The thing that hit me first was that for its length it looked really beefy. I like a good mid sized knife but one strong enough for the task. This looks like it fits the bill
The knife looks great Joe. However, your edit job for this video looks awesome!
Beautiful knife, so hard to pick which black feather I should get!
Say Heah John, That Journey looks like a great type of knife carried as a neck carry, Not just a neck knife. But instead of bekt carry, carry it neck Cary and still use a basic trio. Thanx You for sharing it.,,.
+paulie 4x hey Paulie, one would think that as much as you and I discourse that you'd know my name is Joe. So yeah, heah Paulie...thats awesome.....
Grrrrrr, I know that, Joe, I'm sorry, I have alot on my mind, A night before I was making plans for a future trip like next weekend, Well I got up and he didn't, My friend died in his sleep, Heart Attack, So sorry Joe, But I feel sadness and prolly wasn't thinking.,,.
Did you get a new camera or something?
Also.. sweet looking knife brother!
Thanks for the video
Eat Carbs Yep. I started using it about a month ago. Thanks for checking in my friend :)
sweet knive cool name
Sweet knife! Did I miss the price?
For you personally what's your favorite bark river
Have been interested in some of his knives....with the woodsman being top of the list....but unfortunately after weeks of unanswered emails, and unanswered phone calls, i gave up. Have a William Collins knife coming now...and will otherwise stick with LT Wright. Disappointed as i think the woodsman is probably the closest knife i have seen that comes close to perfect for what i was looking for. Bummer that he is completely unavailable for contact.
Thats a sexy blade. I really want the one knife that is mixed with his two more popular ones....i cant remember the name if it
great video brother diggin that knife great fire skills to man I gotta work on mine lol give me some fluid lol
Say Heah John, What's the size on that Journey, steel type etc.,,.

The website has NO prices, because it has NO products. WTF?
mister smith Well the website has all his current products but not this one because as it's shown in the video it will debut at blade show 2017. Sorry for the confusion there Mr. Smith.

paulie 4x hey Paulie. A couple things. As I've mentioned many many many times responding to you, my name is Joe, not John. Also the specs you question are clearly outline not 12 seconds into the video.........
Grrrrr so sorry again, I had to look up your name Joe, and I saw my post that I called you John and copied it, so sorry I'll try to remember.,,.
I found that too.,,.
Happy Easter.,,.
