    • @AutomotiveCNC
      @AutomotiveCNC 3 года назад

      @@kitsune2509 , virtually all Zaha Hadid projects are the opposite, i.e. the function follows the form, which makes them extremely expensive to build, less spacious and very difficult to clean the glasses due to the use of plenty of unnecessary elements that are there just to serve the design intent. Many other architects also favor the looks and threat the practicality as a less important aspect of the building.

      There actually was a concept car in 2009 that shares some ideas with this sketch, the Citroën reVOLTe concept. It has more integrated fenders, but it is also quite round and more or less reduced. The sketch really goes much further in terms of simplicity, which is maybe more fitting to the original 2CV

    Hey Frank Stephenson, I have a content suggestion that I'd personally find interesting and think many others would as well. Only if you're comfortable with it, it would be great to have a livestream session, in which viewers could suggest different car models which you'd then try and draw from memory or give design "instructions" from which to design a new car etc. I think that kind of live interaction would be very fun addition to this more educational format. This could be done in RUclips Live or Twitch, for example. Just wanted to put my thoughts out there.
    Your unique content here for sure is valuable addition to the legacy of beautiful automotive design you've amassed so far as it will educate and inspire new talent. Thanks and keep it coming!

    One of my favourite concepts was the Honda S-Pocket from 2001-2002. It haa always stuck in my mind. Also the Panoz Esperante, Shelby Series 1 and Qvale Mangusta of the same era.

    I always found that giving depth to the design is hard, thanks for the tips!

    I love your channel Frank.
    I never heard of you before, but there’s a reason why all these car brands hire you to design their cars.
    And could I just critique one of your designs, the mini is timeless,
    and The P1 is an absolute beauty , not a fan of the headlights on it though.
    Keep up the great work👌👌👌

    Hi Frank, love your channel and approach. I own a 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB (Grigio Silverstone with Bordeaux interior) and would love to hear of your involvement with this vehicle and your thoughts on the design. Thanks Jeff.
